Chapter 11

Waking up in the familiar white room, I groaned remembering everything that happend.

I sat up, looking around the room no one was in here making me smile. I'm leaving this place, before everyone jumps into conclutions' I will escape and ask for help to Jeyden and the others to help Jordan.

I stood up from the bed and went to go get my cloak, putting it on I aproached the door pressing my ear againts it.

There was no sound so I opened the door, looking left and right before tip-toe'ing to the staircase.

"Where do you think you're going?" Hayley's voice rings through the air making me freeze, I keep quiet and look at her dead in the eye.

"Where are you going?" she asks again while walking towards me, I lowered my gaze "Don't come near me" I mumble and she kept advancing towards me "I said don't come near me!" I yell at her, glaring.

She stops in her tracks "Jessica, let's go back to your room. Let's talk about what you learned--" I cut her off "I am not listening to you, you liar!" I hiss while running down the staircase "Jessica" I hear her sigh while chasing after me.

I stop when she held on to my wrist "Jessica, please listen to me" she pleads and I shook my head "I don't listen to liars" I huff crossing my arms.

"Jessica, I'm sorry for lying, please listen to me" she pleads again and I keep quiet, glaring at nothing in front of me.

 She sighs and holds my hand "Please Jessica, Just understand me" she tries again and I pull my hand away.

I went to the front door "Jessica what are you doing now?" she sighs while following me, I throw the front door open, walking out.

"Jessica don't try to escape, there are guards guarding the whole house and the forest" she tells me and I go inside the house again.

Ruined my plans.

I sat down at the couch in the living room and closed my eyes. If I can't see her then it's much more easier to ignore her. 

"Jessica" Hayley calls out to me but I ignore the lying best friend. "Please talk to me" she groans out and I felt the couch dip, NO don't sit next to me!

She held on to my hands again "Jessica I'm sorry for lying! Please listen" she tells me while placing her head on my shoulder, I opened my eyes.

I am not listening to you! 

I remove her head from my shoulder and slap her hand away from mine, I stood up walking to the kitchen.

Sitting down on a stool I place my head on the island. 

She didn't follow me so I stood up and went to the bedroom, upstairs. 

How could they lie to me when I grew to trust them? They made me feel stupid, they have been monsters and they hid Jordan! He was just under my nose!

I lied on the bed and placed my arm on my eyes. 

I'm stupid! They have been lying to me all along! They didn't leave Jordan alone! They locked him up like... like an animal! But they are the ones who are animals!

If they kept Jordan locked in the dungeon... then that means I can help him escape! 

I sat up from the bed all I need is to find the door to the dungeon downstairs in the basement.

I bit my lip, standing up and opening the door slightly just for me to slip out. Wow, I have been going back and forth to many places.

Going down the stairs I went up to the empty hallway, opening doors if they are the way to the basement. 

Going to the door at the end of the hall it was locked, I furrowed my eyebrows. 

I glanced back if anyone was there so I tried to kick the door open, I sighed running my hands through my hair.

I stepped back from the door and walked back upstairs, I stopped in the middle of the hallway turning my head at the end of the hall, where Ashton's office lies.

I took a few steps towards his office and knocked, closing my eyes, when no one answered I opened the door myself.

His office is... Messy? well to put it bluntly his room looks like a hurricane just ran over it.

He was sleeping on a couch at the far left corner of the room. Glancing at him I walked towards his desk opening the drawers for keys or anything to open the door.

Walking towards Ashton I studied his face until he moves a little, his hand shot out and pulled me on top of him.

I gasped silently and closed my eyes. Is he awake? Opening my left eye, he was still asleep, for now. He grumbled and let go of me, I stepped back and checked his pockets to find a key!

I'm awesome!

Going out of the office I silently said a thank you to the heavens. Running back downstairs to the locked door I opened it using the key, I smiled and glanced at the dark staircase going down.

I started going down, holding on to the walls for it to guide me. When I reached the bottom of the stairs there were cells, many of them.

Some are empty some are with people in them, I'm not even sure if they really are 'people'.

Walking towards one cell I looked inside to find a body curled up, the body looked up and snarled at me, I moved along to the other cell to find the guy in there lashing towards me but the metal cuffs preventing the guy to even reach the metal door between us.

I sighed, Where is Jordan's cell?

"Jessica?" a raspy voice called making me snap my head at the cell keeped at the far left corner, I ran towards that cell and looked through the small rectangular peep hole to find the familiar eyes of Jordan.

I gasped and moved to the bars putting my hand through and holding Jordan's cold face, "You're cold" I murmur while placing my forehead on the bars. He chuckled but stopped to cough "Y-yeah" he sighed while holding on to my hand on his cheek.

"I'll get you out" I tell him while shaking my head "Don't they'll find out that you were the one who got me out" he tells me while removing my hand from his cheek.

"I'll make a way" I whisper while walking towards the staircase and go up, closing the door and locking it, I placed the key in my pocket and I went back to the bedroom.

Keeping the key at the underwear drawer with the other key I found in Ashton's office. 

The door opens and I slammed the drawer close, I got out of the walk-in-closet and raised my eyebrow at Hayley.

"Where have you been?" she asks and I ignore her by jumping on the bed and closing my eyes. "Are you still ignoring me?" she sighs and I tone her out.

How can I help Jordan escape? Where is his cell's key anyway? and why did Ashton lock Jordan up in the cells?

"Jessica, please listen" Hayley now yells making me focus at her. "We'll tell you everything you want to know just listen to me, us" she now frustratedly throws her arms up.

"Everything?" I mumble and she nods "Everything"
