I made sure to send a quick text to Adric letting him know I will be back soon. I don’t know how he will feel knowing I am having lunch with my ex-boyfriend. “I am happier though, I am better.” I smile sipping my coffee. His eyes glance at my ring.

“You are engaged.” He sounded shocked, I knew how he felt, I left him because I wanted him to find someone better than me just to find out I was getting married.

“Yes.” I chuckle.

“When is the wedding?.”

“We haven’t discussed it but I’m hoping it won’t be long until we have it.” I smile.

He didn’t say any word, it took a while before he spoke.

“Tomorrow is the reunion, I’m going with my fiancée, do come with your fiancée.” He says.

I didn’t want to go, I never wanted to go because I was afraid of facing Connor but not anymore, I think we have solved our problem. I know Connor enough to know he is no longer mad at me, he is happier.

I spoke to Connor for a while before I left, he made me promise him I would be coming for the reunion. I have to find a way to convince Adric, I know a couple of ways.

I got back to the house, Adric was not in sight.

“I didn’t, you were asleep.” I smile.

“Can we go shopping?.” I ask.

I want to get some lingerie. I want to surprise Adric and so that he won’t get upset I met my ex-boyfriend, I know I would be mad if I found out he had lunch with his ex-girlfriend even if he has no love for her.

We got to the lingerie store. I took out four different pieces.

“Toys,” Steph asks touching some toys.
