Chapter 20 Surprise
I hurried to look out the window and there he is, my prince charming, my savior, my hero, my everything
He is wearing a formal suit
He looks damn hot, Grace pulled me in "Blake come in please I want to take a few pictures " she said sweetly
"Ok open the door," he said and walked to the front door
Grace hurried downstairs to open the door" Hope you can come down now" she yelled
I took in a brave breath in and walked on the stairs, then I saw him, and as he saw me, he gasped, oh god
"Blake I think you dropped something? " Grace said
"Huh?" He asked confused
"Your jaw, pick up your jaw," she said laughing, which made him blush and made me laugh
He scratched back of his neck, Grace rushed in to get her camera, I turned the way she went
"You look breathtaking," he said in a husky voice, his breath made my invisible shoulder hair stand
"Um thanks," I said blushing different shade of red and pink
"Come on, pose," she said and positioned her camera, he put his hand on my waist and pulled me to him, oh god, oh god
After taking 100 pictures, she finally let us go, as we were out I turned to him
"What is all this for?" I asked sweetly
"You'll see and now turn around," he said putting his hand in his pocket
"Huh?" I gave him a confused look
"Just trust me," he said, I instantly turned around
You don't need to say I already trust you
He wrapped a ribbon on my eyes
"What are you doing? " I asked impatiently
"Just relax," he said
"How am I suppose to see or walk, what if I fall-" he picked me bridal style
"Is it ok now?" He asked can hear his amusement in his voice
"It' ss more than ok, I said dreamily, he just chuckled and started walking
"Where are we going?" I asked resting my head on his chest hearing my favorite tone
"Its a surprise," he said chuckling
"Oh god I love surprises," I said excitingly
"I hope you like this one too," he said chuckled
I love everything related to you
After a very long walk, we finally reached, he put me down "can I take it off now?" I asked impatiently
"Just a second " he left me
"Ok take it off" he yelled so I did what I was told
"SURPRISE " yelled all of my amazing friends
We at the lake, our favorite place, it was decorated with lights, candles, flowers fireflies
"This is amazing," I said super happy
Everyone was looking fantastic
"Do you like it ?" Blake asked hugging me from behind
"Like it? I love it " I said mesmerized
"I am glad you like it" and with that, he kissed me,
Ok not kiss, Kiss, but he kissed me on the cheek 'even that is considered as a kiss ok'
"But why?" I asked confused
"Well we never went to our senior ball, so it was Blake's idea to do it once you were back," Luke said
Luke had bought his girlfriend Emma, she is a very lovely girl, Jen is with Peter and finally, Jason is with Mia, they look so nice together
"Hey come with me" Blake let go of my waist and grabbed my hand, and started dragging me somewhere
It was a bit dark, but it was near the lake
"Close your eyes," he said, I wanted to ask why, but he will never tell me
So I simply closed my eyes, I heard some shuffling sort of sound, curiosity is killing me 'I am controlling my curiosity just because I love you '
"Ok open up," he said open your eyes, and the dark side was no more there, it was decorated with cute paper lanterns on the trees and lots and lots of flowers, I was seriously mesmerized
It's like a dream come true
And then I turned, and I think I am gonna faint
Blake is surrounded with small candles around him but that's not it, he is on his knees with a small box on his hand
I am so LUCKY
"Hope smith the blessed annoying girl, since the day I've met you my life has turned upside down, I was happy in my simple and ordinary life, but you came like a wind in my life, my boring life became exciting, I met with lots of different feeling, you freed me from myself, taught me to live again, taught me to love again, and I am madly in love with you, I can't imagine my life without you, I love you, Hope, I love you so so much. So there is only one question I want to ask you. Will you grow old with me?" he finished his wonderful speech with a very cute question.
I had tears in my eyes, this moment is so special, so important, so amazing, I can't find my voice, I just nod
He hugged me so tight, that's when I found my voice
"I love you, Hope," he said lovingly in my ear
"No! I love you" I said and he pulled away
He pulled out the box and opened it there was a beautiful diamond ring in it, not the same ring, it is different
He placed it on my finger, I am the luckiest girl in the whole universe, our friends were taking pictures and I hope they have recorded it
And our friends started clapping and whistles, this my favorite day of my life
"Do you know, he worked so hard to earn money for that ring? "J asked 'what'
"You earned this," I asked shocked
He just shrugged "This is my first earning, so I thought might make it special " that moment I lost all my control and pulled him to me and crashed my lips on his
First, he was shocked but his hands went to my waist and pulled me impossibly close to him and kissed me passionately and this was my first kiss ok scratch that this was my first willing kiss and I am happy I shared this with someone I love
I never wanted that night to end, I finally have someone to call mine
