Chapter 11 Save

"Grace, Grace, Grace, Grace!! " I was yelling because I am 15 minutes late for my first class

"Stop yelling " she scolded

"I am gonna be late please hurry " I was never late. I just overslept last night because I was super tired after that long walk

"Ok ok fine let's go," she said after taking the last sip of her coffee

we made it on time because as I entered the bell rang, I rushed to my class and the teacher was not there. I felt like doing a happy dance which I did. The students gave me wired looks as if they have never done that

I was starving at the lunchtime so I was the first one to come out of the class

Jason was leaning on the wall in front of the class as he saw me he made his way towards me

"What did you do?" He asked with his eyebrow raised

"What do you mean? " I asked confused sometimes I have no idea what he is talking about.

"Last night Blake came home and without any warning he.... he hugged mom and started apologizing for his behavior lately and he hugged me and..... and he said he will try to be the brother I deserve now might wanna explain how did this happen?" He asked this question which made me smile

"I did what was necessary, " I said and walked to the cafeteria

"What do you mean? " he asked

"I showed him the truth of reality that's it. I took him to an orphanage and made him realize what he is missing " I said shrugging

As we entered the cafeteria I was shocked to see Blake sitting with our group and laughing? Wow

"Hey guys " we greeted our friends with our lunch in our hand

"Hey," they said in a union

The lunch was filled with simple chats gossip etc and the day went by. I had to go to the local library so I asked Grace not to pick me today

"How may I help you, " said a young girl as I entered the local library

"Can you show me where the modern science section is ?" I asked her politely

"Sure follow me," she said and walked deep in the library and I quietly followed her. She is a bit taller then I have blond hair, fair skin, and brown eyes she is quite cute

There were lots and lots of books, oh, of course, there are many its a library for heaven's sake

I was so deep in my book that I didn't realize it was closing time

"Mam its closing time" the girl whose name is Sam said me politely

"Sorry I didn't realize, " I said apologetically

"Its ok mam but be careful at this time this place is not that safe," she said

"Yes I will be thank you and you too," I said and grabbed my things and walked out it's really late oh god Grace will kill me

As I was walking I felt like I am being watched but didn't do anything I kept on walking a group of drunk guys came out of nowhere and surrounded me I started to panic

"Hey beautiful where you going " a guy one of them said he was clearly drunk

"Don't touch me?" I said angrily he started coming closer

"Aw don't be like that I won't hurt you, " he said showing off his dirty yellow teeth

That was when I took off running, I ran and ran and ran my lungs were burning, my legs were hurting as I turned to a corner I bumped into someone

Fear consumed me I was shaking. I didn't know what to do

"What are you doing here and why are you running?" Asked a very familiar voice as I recognized the voice. I hugged him tight like my life depended on it 'it kind of did actually '

"There you are," said the same guy he had his friends too. I quickly hid behind Blake. He was first confused then realization flashed to him and he stood protectively in front of me

"Go away, " Blake said in a deadly low voice

"Just give us the girl and we will be gone," said the same guy

"Over my dead body," Blake said strongly "go back from where you came and assume this never happened, " he said which kind of angered that guy

He punched Blake and kicked in his ribs but Blake didn't care he got up and started fighting him his 3 more friends joined him and they were too much for Blake to handle so I don't know from where I got the courage I picked a nearby stone and hit one guy's head who let go of Blake's neck

And he turned to me with a smug face uh oh bad idea but I kicked him where the sun doesn't shine and he fell on the ground. I took a thick stick and beat anyone who tried to hit me and Blake was fighting like a professional

All the guys were on the ground groaning in pain Blake took hold of my hand and we started running when we reached a safe place

I did something very stupid. I Stared laughing so hard that my tummy hurts sometime later Blake joined me too

"Let's do that again," I said enthusiastically

Blake shook his head " no thanks "

"Come on your no fun," I said " did you see me. I was fighting like a freaking Bruce Lee " I said standing in a karate style

It just made him smile then I hugged him and started crying. If it wasn't for him I don't know what could have happened

He let me cry on his shirt, rubbed my back in a soothing way

After a while we reached his car "what were you doing at this time of the evening? " he asked as he started the engine

"I had been to the local library, " I said looking out the window

"What were you doing there anyway," I asked him

"I came to buy some medicines, " he said

"Thank you, " I said after some comfortable silence

"For?" He asked not looking my way

"For doing what you did," I said with tears in my eyes

"I couldn't let anything happen to you in my presence, " he said something in me brighten up to his words

Way to home was filled with a comfortable silence

"Hope," he said as I was about to get out

"Hmm" I hummed in response

"You're walking trouble you know that right, " he said smirking

"Yeah I know, "I said and winked

"Hope," he said and got out of the car " stay out of trouble ok," he said seriously

"I'll try," I said and winked he just shook his head and walked in my house

How is it that whenever I am in trouble Blake is always there. Is it a coincidence or something else but I am glad that for now, I am safe
