ALPHA KADEN'S POV:-
My heart skipped a beat as I heard when Samia told me. She literally thought that I was the reason she was alive. Tears welled up in my eyes and I narrowed my head because of the guilt in my chest. She walked towards me and put one of her hands on my shoulder. "Alpha Kaden! You are the only one who can control her. Not just because you are her Alpha. But also because she is your mate. You have to save her from herself." I snapped my head in her direction as I heard her words. I was surprised to hear that from her. I was the only one who knew. And I never even told Erica or Nickolas. I had no idea how she knew.
"Oh! For the love of God! I am a Sparator. I can read minds. I read yours too. When you saw Erica at the HQ. I heard your conversation with your wolf. Alen knew that too. He was about to tell Erica everything at her 18th birthday. Which is today. Alen couldn't tell her. But you can." She added in an annoyed tone. I gulped hard as I was not expecting it at all. I never thought that anyone else would know that ever. Of course, Alen was an ancient Alpha alive. He had seen people. He knew things. He might have smelled me around. And also my jealousy whenever I was around. That explained why he never came to ask me anything.
"I don't think I deserve her after everything I did. She will find someone as caring and loving as Alen was. But I can't be that man." I replied to her in a low tone. Hearing my response, she gritted her teeth. She was definitely angry. And I couldn't make her understand that it was impossible. Erica had already rejected me.
"It was not Erica who rejected you. It's your guilt that always comes between you and Erica. You are never dominating enough for her to submit in front of you. Just fucking get over it. I am not here to babysit you. Carlos is following her. But he can't control her. She wants you." This time, she actually yelled at me angrily.
She was worried about Erica. And I could understand. But I didn't know what to do. "Then tell me what I should do. I don't know how to make her submit to me. I can't force her again. I don't want to force her again." I honestly replied to her in a low tone.
"Alpha Kaden! Just forgive yourself. That's all you have to do. Your stunt saved her life. How? Only Erica can tell you. And for that, you have to go and stop her. Here is the GPS following Carlos. And he is following Erica. Believe in yourself. She is part of your pack." Samia replied to me in a low tone as she handed me a GPS tracker. I nodded my head and her and started following the tracker.
I was lucky because Erica was not far away from my pack lands. In fact, she was actually running towards my pack lands. I shifted into my wolf. Cesar had the GPS tracker in his mouth as he ran in the direction from where Erica was coming. Cesar spat the GPS tracker off of his mouth as we both tasted her intoxicating scent inside our mouths. It meant she was close. I looked up at the sky and found a dragon in the sky. That confirmed Cesar that Erica was here. Cesar stopped and waited for Erica. In a few seconds, she stopped in front of me. She howled loudly at me then lunged at me.
Cesar jammed his paws in the dampened soil and howled loudly at her as she was a few inches away from him. He didn't stop until she stepped backwards and bowed her head in front of Cesar. Samia was right. All I had to do was forgive myself. Cesar let me take over. I shifted back into my human form. As soon as her wolf saw me in my human form, she lunged at me. But this time, she was not attacking me. I knew she wanted me. I howled at her to stop and shift back. She instantly submitted in front of me and let Erica take control again. I walked towards her and knelt down in front of her. She was crying crazily while hugging her naked body.
As it was my pack lands we were on, I had long sheets hidden in each log of the trees in my pack lands. I wrapped one around my waist. Then grabbed another and wrapped it around her. She threw her arms around me and started crying. "It was him. He killed them both. He killed Alen and Yalin. It was Mathew. He accepted it when he called me. He called me at Niagara falls. But I don't know why Macy was running to your pack." Erica spoke while crying in my arms. The dragon was also on the ground. He shifted back and came towards us. I turned to look at him. I was confused with whatever Erica told me. But Carlos was not. In fact, he was growling angrily.
MATHEW'S POV:-
Once I was sure that the whole HQ was empty, I went to look for the evidence Alen was talking about. He knew everything. He had evidence that it was not just me but also my father who killed Yalin. I had to kill Alen because he knew why we did that. Yalin learned everything about my father's secrets. Except for Blake, all the prostitutes Yalin saved went missing. My father sold them all. And kept a few for himself. I was not sure Samia would be that stupid. I literally heard an announcement for everyone to go look for Erica. As she went missing. I was surprised to know that she didn't reach Niagara falls.
Well, I couldn't care less about her. I had to do whatever I could to take all the evidence Alen hid in his office. That stupid man told me that he had all the evidence at the HQ. I stepped into his office and started looking for all the evidence. I knew him well. He might have made a file. I just had to find that file. My father was in the dungeon. He was going to ask Belle to kill Melissa. I couldn't trust him anymore. So I brought him with me. I turned the whole office upside down but I couldn't find anything regarding Yalin's death. I slammed my fist with his office desk in anger. His office was practically empty.
"It isn't there. I also couldn't find it." I froze as I heard that voice. It was Samia. I could recognize her voice anywhere. I turned around and found not just Samia, but Nickolas, Erica, Alpha Kaden and even Carlos. Samia was sitting on a chair with her legs crossed. She had that smug smile on her face. Like she had won. Just then, Eli and William entered the room. They were holding my father by his arms. They threw my father on the ground, at Samia's feet. She set her other foot on my father's chest. She raised her hand and closed her eyes. Just then, an element broke Alen's desk and went flying towards Samia. She caught it in time and wrapped it around her neck.
"Oh, I am terrified. Why don't you come over and teach me, you ugly creature? Because I am waiting for you at Niagara falls. Do you know why I had to kill Alen? I had to kill him because I wanted to taste Erica. But that bastard was so greedy. I made sure to kill him as painfully and slowly as possible. He was begging me to stop. But I just kept torturing him. Just like I tortured Yalin. It was so much fun." I heard my own voice and my eyes went wide.
"Take care of Erica. Those bwde Alen's last words. He knew you would be coming after her. So I used a little trick. I turned on the call record without telling her." Samia said in a taunting tone.
"At first, I was also very angry that I couldn't find the evidence. I searched his office this morning. But I found nothing. But then, Nickolas found Erica's phone. He came to HQ and I heard your confession. Alen never begged you to stop. He gave me a hint. The evidence file was in my office. The safest place in the HQ. And your confession is more than enough for us." She said as she stood up and walked towards me. Nickolas was in her place then. He set his foot on my father's chest to keep him pinned with the ground. I was growling in anger. My father was so stupid. He got caught.
"All the prostitutes that Yalin saved, they went missing. Blake was left as Yalin took her under his wings. Yalin was keeping up with Mathew because he thought he could pull Blake out of the darkness of her past. But then he found out about their plans. He threatened the first Omega to tell the other Omegas the truth. But then he found out about hypnosis testing on Blake. Yalin went to confront Mathew. They were planning to make Blake kill Yalin. And Mathew was about to take her away. But Yalin heard them talking. He knew the truth." Samia started telling everyone about our secret plan. I turned into an eagle and was about to fly away when I collided with a wall and fell on the ground.
"You can't run away. This whole building is under my protection shield. Alen was not the one who interrogated Melissa. I interrogated her. I told him everything. Beta Velak told me about the phone call. You knew that we interrogated Melissa. You thought it was Alen. But it was me. You called him and killed him. I was not surprised to know that bastard demon, Sasuke, helped you both times. In exchange, you gave him the pendant of Lucifer. This time, you promised him the pendant of Angel Azrael." She added in a low tone. Then she snapped her fingers. Just then, the pendant in my neck that was keeping me safe, flew towards Samia. Before I could understand, it was already in Samia's hands.
"You both are under arrest. And you both will be killed at the mansion of the omegas. Along with Belle who tried to kill Melissa for helping us. I, Nickolas King, chief of the knights, sentence all three of you to be tortured right in front of the knights. You will be tortured until you die. I will make sure to keep your death as brutal as possible." I growled as Nickolas sentenced us. Eli and Carlos came towards me. They dragged me away. While Isaac dragged my father away.
