ERIS' POV:-
I was staring at his face. Anger was building inside of me as I listened to his side of the story. He had sadness in his eyes. And at the same time, a kind of anger that also made me angry. “Since he stepped into our lives, he wanted everything that I had. It started with the smaller things, like my bedroom, the car and the bike I owned. Then it started moving up. Until he even took away my title as the Alpha of the pack.” Alpha Lucian added in a low tone.
I was rubbing my hand on his chest to comfort him. I knew it was hard for him to talk about it. But since I had asked him, he was talking about his past. A small smile appeared on his face as he grabbed my hand and placed a soft kiss on my knuckles because I was comforting him.
“If your father left you in power, how was he able to take over?” I asked him in a low tone. I couldn't help but feel hatred in my chest for that man. I hated the kind of monsters who like to snatch away someone's belongings by force.
“His mother was working behind my father's back. After my father's death, she knew who to control and how. She used money for some, and even blackmailed some. My father's beta and Gamma told everyone that my father thought I was a loser. That's why he named Glider as his successor in his final days.” Alpha Lucian answered my question. He suddenly sat up on the bed. I guess it was too much for him to talk about while lying in bed. He was breathing heavily, as if the room was too suffocating for him.
I crawled out of the bed and offered him my hand. Although I was naked, I didn't care about it one bit. I was with the man who had never forced me in his bed. And in two months of our relationship, there was not a single scar on my body that he might have not seen.
Alpha Lucian looked at my hand for a moment with a confused look on his face. “It's too suffocating here. Let's go outside and talk.” I offered him, knowing well that he wouldn't speak up. He didn't say anything. He grabbed my hand, crawled out of the bed and we walked out onto the balcony.
Alpha Lucian sat down into the hammock chair. Since he was still holding my hand, he pulled me on his lap and wrapped his arms around me from behind. The weather was pleasant outside. Cool breeze touched my body but I didn't shiver because Alpha Lucian was sharing his warmth with me.
I didn't ask him anything for a while. My mind was also busy processing the information I had received from him. There were still so many questions I needed answered before I could reach Samael's thoughts. I needed more information to know what he was actually planning.
“What happened then? You are still an Alpha?” I asked him after a while when his breathing and his heartbeat had calmed down a little. He had his face buried in the crock of my neck. I whimpered as he nibbled my skin between his teeth. I felt his teeth deep inside my body.
“He offered me to become his Beta. I thought I was all alone. But then all the warriors whom I had trained with, stood by my side. And my buddies, Hank and Dean, told me that I was not alone at all.” Alpha Lucian started telling me the rest of the story on his own.
I remained quiet. I wanted him to talk to me. “I told him that I was born to be the alpha. Not a beta. With all the people who stood by me, we left the pack, becoming rogues for a short while. Until we trained together, day and night. We wanted to be the strongest and at our best.” Alpha Lucian added. I couldn't feel pride in his voice as he talked about it all. He was proud of his fellow warriors.
“You wanted to be ready for what?” I asked him in a confused tone. I turned to look at his face. There was a mischievous smirk on his face as he heard my question.
“To take over the pack Glider was born in. I attacked them for dumping their shit on us. The alpha actually helped that bitch to blackmail my father. And that stupid old man just fell right into their trap. So I took my revenge by attacking that pack and taking over it after I killed their alpha.” Alpha Lucian added that part in a proud full voice.
I couldn't help but smile at his behavior. He was happy to tell me about that part of his past. “The Silver Lightning pack became the Lightning Horde Pack. I wanted to mock that bastard for robbing me from my birthright. Then pack after pack, we became the biggest pack of the werewolf kingdom. To be honest, I was not interested in this piece of land. If Ramsay wouldn't have killed Dean, I would never have come here.” Alpha Lucian started in a proud tone. But then his voice went a little low as he talked about Ramsay.
That bastard was a walking piece of shit. I couldn't remember anyone saying anything good about him. I whimpered when he suddenly placed a soft kiss against my neck. “But I am glad that I came here. I got to meet you.” I smiled when I heard him whisper in my ear.
I turned my face and his lips were on mine. Without caring about the world and anything around, we were kissing each other like two hungry wolves. Our tongues were tangled together, our lips were moving in sync and our breaths caught up in each other's throats. Under the light of the moon, we kissed as if sealing our fates together.
The next morning, I was sitting in the meeting hall. Alpha Lucian was there, and Hank, Harald and all the commanders of Alpha Lucian's warriors. I told them everything about the conversation I had with both Neal and Dorian. And the summary I had done over the collective topics I thought mattered the most. “What are you suggesting, Beta? Do you think they are planning to attack us? With what? They left their manpower behind.” One of the commanders spoke in a jovial tone.
I sighed because he just said exactly the same thing Samael wanted us to think about. “That's what they want us to think. Yes, they don't have their own manpower. But they have alphas like Glider, standing behind him. You don't know Samael. And right now, he is the working Alpha of the Dark Wolf Pack.” I added in a low tone.
Alpha Lucian frowned in confusion when he heard me. “Dorian was very positive that Samael was soon going to attack. And we need to start preparing for our own strategy.” I added in a low tone. I knew that it was a long shot to tell them about everything that I learned from Dorian. To them, it was practically nothing but I knew the Coltons better than anyone. I lived in between them. Until I was caged. All eyes turned to Alpha Lucian who was quietly listening to us all argue but he didn't utter a single word.
Others were talking to Hank, telling him their own thoughts while my eyes were set on Alpha Lucian who looked both confused and angry. “How about we call it a day? We are all exhausted and it's almost dusk. We can continue this conversation tomorrow.” Hank suggested calmly. But I knew that he was also feeling that tension. The tension was from Alpha Lucian.
Everyone looked at Alpha Lucian. He sighed and nodded his head. Allowing us to take a break for the day. Everyone stood up from their chairs and walked away. I was about to get out of the meeting hall when Alpha Lucian grabbed my wrist and pushed me on the table. I was surprised by his sudden move. With one of his hands, he grabbed both of my wrists and pinned them above my head. And with the other one, he started rubbing my genitals from above my pants.
“Alpha! We shouldn't be doing this here. Anyone can see us. And I don't want anyone else to get familiar with the scent of my arousal. Around you, I can't control myself.” I breathlessly asked him to control himself.
That's when my eyes fell on the bump on his pants. It was moving, as if something inside was big and throbbing. I licked my lips as my insides started to ache for his attention. But I still didn't want it to happen in the pack house’s meeting hall. It would be embarrassing for me.
Alpha Lucian leaned toward my ear. He growled breathlessly in my ear, making me arch my back in pleasure. “Let's make new memories.” He whispered seductively in my ear. Before I could have asked him what he meant, he suddenly pulled away from me, grabbed one of my wrists and threw me on his shoulder. Alpha Lucian started walking. With each of the steps that he took, he was slapping my ass. And he made sure that it was not gentle.
I had covered my mouth with both of my hands but at some point, I just couldn't control myself and started moaning like a whore. But I didn't care since everyone had left already. Alpha Lucian stopped and placed me on the ground. I was confused until I turned around and found myself standing under the same water fountain that I had started to hate so much.
I turned to look at Alpha Lucian who had started unbuttoning his shirt. There was a smirk on his face that made me lick my lips in anticipation. “Are you bold enough to do it under the open sky? Or are you boring enough to never even try?” He asked me as he threw his shirt on the ground and started to undo his belt.
I drew a shaky breath as I started to undress as well. Until we were not completely naked, we were staring into each other's eyes. And then, we looked at each other. My nipple stood erect when I watched his manhood standing like a strong tree.
Alpha Lucian made me sit at the fountain. He cupped my face and kissed me passionately. And he didn't let go until I started seeing stars due to the lack of oxygen. He pulled away from my lips but his face was still closer to mine. “I want to eat your flowers in the open.” He whispered seductively. My eyes shot open. I wanted to look at home if he was not joking.
His eyes were burning in lust. He was not joking at all. Biting my lower lip, I nodded my head. “Good girl. Spread your legs, baby.” He whispered while patting my ass. I parted my legs as he had asked me. When he started eating me, I was literally out of control. I was moaning his name loudly and carelessly.
After we had sex, we were lying in the grass, looking at the night sky. He gave me his shirt to cover my body while he was in his pants. “Do you wanna talk about how you didn't even try to inform me about the bomb you just dropped on my head a few hours ago?” Alpha Lucian's sudden question made me choke on the air.
“What do you mean? We were talking about it last night?” I tried to remind him how I wanted his attention toward the matter.
Alpha Lucian sat up on the grass and gave me an angry look. “You were supposed to tell me why you were asking me all those questions. Instead, you just decided that you can question the matter in a meeting without even discussing it with me personally. When you know very well that it's connected to my past?” I gulped hard when I heard him scolding me for the first time. My heart was literally pounding against my rib cage as I came to realize that I was truly wrong.
