Beautiful Woman

Beautiful Woman
ARIANA

I picked up the glass from the table and took a sip. I liked the taste more than the red wine. What I liked more was the man who couldn't gulp down the dinner without alcohol, was offering to have dinner with soda instead of wine. I looked around, placing the glass down on the table. I frowned when I watched men from other tables, who were looking at me, approaching me.

All of a sudden, a man sat before me, on the chair where Enzo was seated a while ago. “Can I ask the pretty name of the beautiful young woman who has captured my gaze since I stepped into this restaurant?” I looked at him with knitted brows. He had the audacity to come and question me when he clearly saw me with Enzo.

Or maybe, he just didn't see me with Enzo. “No! You can't!” I replied in a low tone, staring at his face. He was a handsome man. With a face and body like a Greek god. He looked taller than Enzo. With green eyes and chocolate brown hair. I had to remind myself of the fact that I was married.

As he heard my answer, his smile turned into a deep frown. As if he was disappointed with my response. “Why is that, beautiful woman?” He asked in a low tone. His eyes remained on my face. I didn't know if I was supposed to feel that way but I was having butterflies.

I rolled my eyes at him. I was definitely not in the mood for a chat. I used to be so chatty. But five years of constant silence and loneliness gave me a habit of staying quiet all the time. “Because if you must have noticed, I am on a date. And I am married.” I informed him of the truth about me.

He raised a brow at me, as if he couldn’t believe me at all. “Was that your husband or your boyfriend? Because there is no way a beautiful woman like you isn't admired by more than one man.” My jaw dropped on my lap when he asked me that question. I was surprised by his mindset for women.

At first, I couldn't form a sentence. I was in a state of shock. I cleared my throat just so I could clear my mind as well. “What's that supposed to mean? And I am not beautiful. So stop calling me that.” Of course, I was offended by the way he asked me that question.

It almost sounded like he was calling me a whore or something. Who couldn't stay with one man. And I couldn't understand why he kept calling me beautiful. “Huh! If only I could tell you how stunning you actually are. And don't take that in a wrong way. I meant that only as a compliment.” I saw a kind of darkness in his eyes. Something that I was able to see just for a moment then he masked it up with his gentle atre.

I rolled my eyes at him when I heard his response. “Well, you have a fucked up way to compliment women.” I was angry at him, for not being polite. And all of a sudden, he wasn't as handsome and charming as he was before. I wanted him gone.

“What can I say? I know, what women like.” He chuckled, making me angrier.

I had to take a deep breath to calm myself down. So far, I was liking everything Enzo was doing. And I didn't want the night ti be ruined by a stranger. “No! You actually don't. Anyways, I'm married so your flirtation will have no effects on me.” I replied in a low tone, trying to hide my anger.

He raised his brow at my response. “Really? I know you are lying. Because married couples don't look so nervous and hesitant when they are on a date. As for you two, I can only see hesitations in between.” I frowned in confusion when I heard him.

“So what? Couples can be hesitant too. Doesn't matter if they are married or dating or just on their first date.” I replied to him in a low tone. By then, I was already sipping onto my cold soda to calm down.

He chuckled again then shook his head. As if that whole conversation was amusing for him in any way. “Don't be angry, beautiful woman. I was just trying my luck with the most beautiful woman I have ever seen in my life. But my luck betrayed me.” He replied in a disappointed tone, narrowing his head by the end.

He then stood up from Enzo's chair. He looked at me, met my gaze then winked at me shamelessly. “I hope we meet again soon.” He added in his same charming voice.

I gave him a cheeky smile then showed him my middle finger. “And I hope we never meet again.” He laughed. Then he turned around and walked away, waving his hand as if he knew that I was watching him. To my surprise, I was watching him. Until he disappeared in the crowd and my eyes could no longer find him.

“What's wrong? What are you looking at, Rina?” Enzo's voice pulled me out of the oceans of my thoughts. When I turned my head to look at him, I found him staring at me with a concerned look on his face. Then Enzo turned his face into the direction where my eyes were roaming.

I smiled and shook my head. “Nothing much! I was just bored. Took you long enough to come back.” I tried to change the topic because the last thing I wanted was to get anyone involved with Enzo.

His eyes went dark when I asked him that question. Then a wide and mischievous smirk spread across his face. “Yeah! I had to do it twice before I could actually get out.” He spoke in a seductive tone, making me gulp hard.

My eyes went wide for a while. Then I was laughing while keeping my mouth covered with one of my hands. “Twice! I wasn't inside the men's room. You can't blame that on me.” I raised both of my hands, I was just being dramatic.

He chuckled when he heard me. Then he shook his head. He wrapped his arms above the table and leaned forward. “I am not blaming you, sweetest bean. You weren't there but while I was trying to wash my hands, I had an image of you in my mind.” He whispered seductively. It wasn't loud enough for anyone else to head, but I heard him clearly.

“Oh yeah! What was I doing?” I matched his seductive tone, just to engage with the conversation like him.

“It wasn't you who was doing anything. It was me, who had you bent down on this table, and I was taking you from behind while everyone watched. You were moaning my name pretty loudly in my mind.” my cheeks burned when I listened to that image. It was more of a dirty dream he just had.

“Shut up!” I growled at him, covering my face with both of my hands.

“Alright! Alright! You don't have to scold me.” At first, he laughed, then he raised his hands, accepting his defeat against me.

“Whatever! I'm starving. What's for dinner?” I rolled my eyes at him. Then I asked for the food, just so I could change the conversation.

“Steak and carbonara. I know, how much you enjoy that.” My jaw dropped when I heard the menu he selected for our date night.

“Steak again? I had steak for dinner last night, breakfast this morning then you fed me steak for lunch as well, with cheesy mashed potatoes. Don't you have anything else you can feed me?” I was angry at him. He had been feeding me way too much steak. Especially since we landed in Paris. The fridge was full of steak.

He laughed at me, as if it was supposed to be funny in any way. “Relax, my sweetness. I was just kidding. It's smoked trout and lobster soup with spaghetti.” Enzo finally told me the actual menu for the night and I sighed in relief.

It felt like if I would eat steak another time, I would start puking nonstop. Even the smell of it was making me sick. He fed me that thing that much. “Finally! Something else to eat.” I exclaimed. The food arrived just as we were talking.
