FORBIDDEN TIES {My Brother's best friend}

Selena lingered at the edge of the crowded room, her eyes drawn inexorably to the two figures standing in the center. Her brother, Ezra, exuded an easy charm, his laughter ringing out above the din of the party. Beside him stood Cyrus, his best friend since childhood.

It wasn't just Cyrus's rugged good looks or his effortless charisma that captivated Selena. It was something deeper, something that tugged at her heart whenever she was near him. She had tried to ignore it, to bury her feelings beneath layers of denial, but tonight, as she watched him banter with Ezra, she couldn't deny the truth any longer.

There was a magnetic pull between them, an invisible thread that seemed to bind Cyrus to her brother, their friendship solid and unwavering and yet, despite the unspoken barrier that separated them, she couldn't help but yearn for him, to imagine what it would be like to feel his touch, to hear him whisper her name in the darkness.

As she tore her gaze away, a sense of longing washed over her, mingling with the fear and uncertainty that had plagued her for so long. She knew that what she felt for Cyrus was forbidden, that it could never be more than a fleeting fantasy. But as she stole one last glance at him across the crowded room, she couldn't help but wonder if some secrets were meant to be kept hidden, or if they were destined to unravel in the most unexpected of ways.

Would Selena even have a chance with Cyrus at all?
