Chapter 87
Chapter 87
Dale’s pov
Seeing Vanessa from the small monitor screen, I knew I had to talk to her about coming to my office uninvited. This was becoming bad of her and she could not keep on ruining my fun with her presence.
“I am sorry, but I am certain she is here for something important,” I said to Ava.
The disappointment and annoyance on Ava’s face was something to behold, but this was not the time to begin to reassure her.
I unlocked the door and Vanessa cat walked her away. As usual, she was dressed to kill and I could not help but smile at the uniqueness of her looks. She looked really pretty and no matter how mad I was at her, I could not take that away from him.
"Hello, handsome." She wrapped her hand around my neck and kissed me squarely on the lips.
It felt weird kissing her just after I was kissing Ava. My eyes stayed wide open and glanced at Ava, trying to gauge her reaction to this. She didn't look pleased and it made my heart ache.
"Excuse me, please." Abs said and without pausing for a second, she walked out of the office, leaving me alone with Vanessa.
Vanessa pulled away from me and looked at the closed door. There was a scowl on her face directed at Ava wherever she might be.
"What the hell is wrong with her? Why does she keep acting weird whenever she sees me touching you?" Vanessa asked, trying to understand Ava's reaction to us.
"It is nothing. I think she is just trying to be polite and professional. You know this is a workplace. I have to be professional at all times." I said to her,
"I know, but it is your mom's company and this is your private office. She should not be pissed that you are using your office as you please. Her character is so off and I can not help but wonder if she is in love with you." She hissed in anger.
I paused for a second, shocked to hear her say that to me. Was my and Ava's involvement getting so obvious to raise this thought in Vanessa?
"Why would you say something like this? You do realize that she is my sister, right? We can not be involved in the way that you are thinking." I said, trying to clear us out of her insinuations.
"Oh, come on. I know that you can not be involved with her. She is probably in line with you. She has an infatuation with you and probably hopes that you will take a liking to her.”
“She isn't related to you by blood and you are a really good-looking man. She is bound to get attracted to you. You need to keep her at arm's length so she doesn't try to ruin what you have built." She stated and took a seat at my table.
I stared at her and didn't know how to respond to her without coming off too strong. I could leave it at this, but I was not happy with her throwing any accusations at Ava no matter how small it might seem.
Gently, I walked over to her and placed a hand on her lap.
"Vanessa, nothing of such is happening. Trust me, I am not stupid. I know Ava and she is a nice person. Okay?"
"But what then is her problem? Something is clearly wrong with her." She complained, her frown deepening.
"Like I said earlier, she has just given us privacy. This is a workplace and she is just trying to keep to the sanity of things.
Moreover, there is no need to be worried about her. You came here to see me, so talk to me." I said to her, rubbing her palms on my hand.
Her mood lightened at my words. A small smile appeared on her lips as she freed her hand from my palms and looped it around my neck.
"You are right. I came here to see you Bc there is no need to keep me waiting on all the goodness we missed from each other." She winked at me and I immediately knew why she was here.
"Vanessa, it is a Monday. It's quite early to be making love in the office. I have a lot of work to do." I said, looking for a reason to dismiss her.
Her frown returned as she took her hands off my shoulders.
"Is it just me or is everyone trying so hard to piss me off? Dale, when has this ever been a problem? Moreover, we have not met in a long time. I miss you. Or don't you miss me?
Are you seeing someone else?" She fired at me and I immediately knew I was cooked.
"Of course not, Vanessa. How would you say that?" I asked, even though it was the absolute truth.
I was indeed seeing someone else. Someone I was more in love with.
"Then make love to me here and now. Confirm to me that you still love me like the first time we met." She ordered.
I could easily tell her to leave my office and never return, but that would only confirm what she already suspected.
It was sex she wanted and honestly, I could have sex without emotions.
"Fine, come and get what you want." I stood up from my crouched position.
A bright smile appeared on her face as she swiped her hand down my crotch.
A sharp breath escaped from my mouth. She was a vixen and I had no doubt that she was going to turn me on in minutes. She undid my trousers and released me.
"You are as beautiful as the first day I saw you." She cooed at the hardening organ and immediately took it into her mouth. She began to work hard, really hard, to make me cum and I knew for a fact that if it was Ava, she would not need to work this hard.
As much as I was sexually turned on, I had no feelings for her, none at all and all I wanted right now was to get done and over with this.
