I fully thought that I would be greeted by the wolves' loud and fierce grunts but I felt like I was floating in the air as my feathers stood up while watching most of them smiling as if I was a creature that had never been their enemy.

Am I dreaming Adam? Tell me..' I said in disbelief as I stared at the balloons. Most of them are in human form but there are also wolves in form.

Lucas was at the other end just observing what was happening.

'You are not dreaming, this pack is accepting our love Lily, Lucas' support is a big thing for both of us..' when I looked at Lucas again, I saw him enter the small house. although it is not as big as our palace, I can say that it is well made.

"She is really beautiful.." said a woman smiling. I noticed that he has a resemblance to Lucas. She could be his sister.

"Yes, she is.." Adam squeezed my hand slightly.

"How can we make sure he doesn't tell his people about this fortress?" a man stepped forward and looked at me intently. I expect this, not everyone will agree with me.

"She won't do that.." Adam blocked me in a way to protect me.

"She is Adam's mate, she won't do anything unnecessary to harm our pack.." the woman defended me.

"I will not say anything in the palace. I am here because of Adam, there is no other reason.." I said boldly. Adam smiled at me because of what I said.

there was one male wolf who was about to speak when the group of wolves facing me slowly parted as an old man slowly walked towards Adam and I's position. If I'm not mistaken, this is a high advisor of this group.

"Welcome to the land of the wolves, dear princess.." he handed me his. I knew he would shake my hand so I extended my hand to him as well.

when our palms touched, I felt like something pierced my heart, causing my vision to blur more and more. I can no longer see the old woman and I only feel her hand holding me.

What is she doing? Why am I weak?

"Lily! Ledare what are you doing to him?" Adam shouted loudly. My knees buckled when I let go of his hand until I lost my balance.

I feel my body lift. I can feel Adam's warm body.

"Lily..lily.." I can hear his suffering voice.

"She's fine.." if I'm not mistaken, it's Lucas' voice.

"Fine?! What did you do to him Ledare?!" Adam shouted. I can only use my hearing. What's going on? Why do I feel like this?

"You can go back to what you were doing. This vampire has no bad intentions" the old man said casually. What is this? Confirmation of my intention?

"Let's get him inside.." Lucas said formally.

"No! I will bring him back to their palace. I thought you could understand us Lucas?" Adam whined.

"Damn it Adam, we're not going to harm her! She has something to do for all the werewolves in this world. We will all be affected if something bad happens to her!" what? What is Luke talking about?

"What are you talking about?" even Adam was wondering.

"Ledare is the one who can explain everything. Just trust me, I won't harm her or this whole pack. We know that we killed you too when we hurt that princess.." Adam's hug tightened.

"I am not sure about this. But I won't allow someone to hold her again.." Adam said coldly.

"Let's go.." I felt Adam walking as I lifted him up. I don't know why despite my weak body, with my blurry eyes I don't even feel nervous.

Should I still wonder about it? While I felt Adam's warm body, I never felt fear and dread. I always feel safe and protected when I am with him.

"Just feed her with your blood, she'll be fine.." soon I tasted a drop of blood on my lips until I realized that Adam's penis was close to my lips.

I sink my fangs and drink his thick blood. while his blood slowly passed through my lips, the clarity of my eyes and the strength of my body slowly returned.

And as soon as I opened my eyes I was greeted by Adam's golden eyes.

"I'm so sorry.." he wiped the blood from my lips. I quickly got up and my eyes burned even more. I immediately stepped on top of the table as my smoke power was coming out of both of my hands. I was ready to attack the old woman. She did something to me!

"Lily!" Adam shouted at me.

I was quickly alerted when I felt the presence of wolves one after another appeared from outside the window and both of them were glaring at me, ready to pounce on me at any moment. I was surrounded by so many wolves.

it's true that vampires and wolves will never get along, someone will always betray and someone will always be deceived.

Adam and Lucas immediately turned into wolves, but what surprised me the most was that instead of Lucas opposing us and siding with his own group, he was also blocking me in a way that would protect me.

I heard Adam's loud growl to other werewolves. even Lucas did the same to his colleagues who sent all the wolves surrounding us all. My head got hot when I noticed that the old wolf who was the cause of everything was just sitting there.

for the last time, I heard Lucas' roar causing all the werewolves to run outside the place. My hands went down voluntarily as I saw that the balloons that almost fell on me were disappearing.

I was about to go when I felt Adam pulling my long dress. He wants me to get off the table and sit down. Can't he use our mind link?

'Adam?' I got no answer from him. What's wrong?

I noticed that Lucas was gone. Adam didn't let go of my clothes until I got off the table, so I followed what he wanted.

"Adam, can't you talk?" I asked his wolf form. I frowned when I noticed that even the wolf was grinning.

"Vampire, I've never seen a talking wolf.." Lucas said seriously, already jumping. I just shrugged. I am just trying to talk to my mate.

When I sat down, Adam quickly ran somewhere but he immediately came back and got dressed.

"Can we start now?" the old woman stood up from her distant seat and sat down at the table we were surrounded by.

"That was close.." Adam said shaking his head.

"The patience of the woman set for you is too short..." Lucas said fatly.

"All vampires are short-tempered..." the old woman said softly.

"No, Claret is nice.." Lucas said with a smile. I chose not to answer because it was true. Yes she's nice and I'm not. I admit it.

"Answer me first, what happened to me? Why did my whole body suddenly feel weak?" I asked the old wolf.

"Isn't it and this isn't the first time this has happened to you? You've experienced fainting before, haven't you?" I was slightly taken aback by what the old man said until my memory came back to the keeper of the hut where he passed something to me that is still a big question.

"One time.." Adam immediately turned to me with his worried eyes.

"Why didn't you tell me?" it asked me.

"It happened a long time ago.." I answered Adam.

"Can you tell me when you first felt it? Where? When or how?" I stared at the old man.

"What's with this? What's wrong with my feelings?" I asked in surprise.

"Did it come from a babaylan?" Lucas snapped.

"What the---" almost split the entire table with Adam's strong punch.

"Did he pass it on to you Lily?" Adam grabbed both of my arms and tried to meet my eyes.

"Passed? I can't stop.." I said confused. The only thing I remember is that he passed me some white smoke. What exactly is this thing? Will it destroy me based on this reaction of Adam?

"Then they are complete, but why does he have to pass on a vampire princess?" Lucas asked the old man.

"Can Lily transfer it to someone else? Damn it, not her. Not my Lily.." I was confused by what they were talking about. What to transfer? Why not me?

"I don't get you, what do you mean by complete? What? Is this some sort of prophecy? That there are women destined? Are we kidding? You also have wolves like this?" My thoughts became even more confused when Lucas and the old wolf shook their heads at the same time.

"Answer me Ledare! Can Lily transfer it to someone else?" Adam asked desperately. But Adam leaned back in his seat as if weak because of the old woman's answer.

"The Glaoch can only be transferred once. He can't transfer it to anyone else Adam. she's the chosen one.."
