Chapter 45 Your Plaything

Cassidy was too pissed to deal with Easton anymore.

Easton knew he had ticked Cassidy off and tried everything to make it right. He apologized and cooked for her, but she just didn't care.

The next day, everyone planned a beach day, so they headed to their rooms to change into swimsuits.

Cassidy had just walked into her room and hadn't shut the door when Easton stopped her. Despite her protests, he barged in.

Cassidy, worried someone might see him in the hallway, reluctantly let him in. But once he was inside, she ignored him and focused on finding her swimsuit.

Easton paced around, frustrated. "Cassidy, what did I do to make you so mad?"

Cassidy didn't answer. She found her swimsuit and was about to change when Easton grabbed her wrist, making her look at him. "Cassidy, why are you so angry?"

Cassidy frowned in pain, her voice cold. "I'm not angry; I just don't want to talk to you."

"Then why don't you show me a smile?" Easton said.

Cassidy forced a joyless smile.

Easton got even more frustrated. "What's wrong with you?"

"Aren't you going to change? If you stay here too long, they'll get suspicious," Cassidy said.

Even though they had their own rooms, the guys' rooms were close together. They had planned to hit the beach together, and if Easton didn't go back to change and Cassidy didn't show up, people might start talking.

Easton knew he couldn't force an answer out of her. Frustration made him want to rip her clothes off and make love to her, thinking she might be too dazed to resist answering his questions. But he knew that would ruin any chance of forgiveness and make her hate him more. Reluctantly, Easton frowned and left her room.

When Cassidy showed up at the beach, all eyes were on her stunning figure. Her black swimsuit, with delicate white patterns, had a waistline that showed off her slim waist and hugged her curves perfectly. Her fair skin glowed, and her graceful lines were pure beauty.

Zoe couldn't help but exclaim, "Cassidy, your swimsuit is gorgeous!"

Hailey nodded enthusiastically. "Cassidy, you look amazing! Every guy on the beach is staring at you!"

Owen also nodded. "That swimsuit really suits you!"

Cassidy smiled and thanked everyone but kept her distance from Easton.

Everyone quickly noticed the tension between them, exchanging glances but not knowing what had happened, only guessing they might have had a fight.

Regardless of Easton's efforts, Cassidy continued to ignore him, which left him in a state of constant frustration. Watching Cassidy laugh and chat with everyone except him only intensified his irritation, leaving him speechless.

Easton was the first to dive into the sea, hoping the cool water would calm him down. But after swimming for a while, he felt even more exasperated. Cassidy's indifference hurt him deeply. All he wanted now was to drag her to a secluded spot and make sure she saw no one but him.

Cassidy didn't swim in the sea; she just splashed around in the shallow water with Zoe and Hailey for a bit. Feeling overwhelmed by the sense that Easton was treating her like a toy, she soon wanted to leave.

Noticing her bad mood, no one stopped her.

Cassidy hadn't been off the beach for long when Easton followed her, and, seeing no one around, blocked her path. "Cassidy, can we talk?"

"We have nothing to talk about." Cassidy tried to leave, but Easton kept blocking her. "Easton, what do you want?" she snapped.

Driven to the edge by Cassidy's indifference, Easton saw her impatience and felt his frustration peak. Without thinking, he pulled her into his arms and kissed her hard.

Cassidy struggled fiercely, but she couldn't match Easton's strength and had to endure his kiss.

Agitated and rough, Easton bit Cassidy's lips, the sound of sucking making her blush.

Ignoring her resistance, Easton held Cassidy tightly, sucking and biting her lips. His palm was so hot that Cassidy couldn't help but tremble. She pushed against Easton's chest with all her strength, but it was no use.

It wasn't until Cassidy's resistance weakened that Easton finally let go of her lips. But his hand still pressed against her back, not giving her a chance to escape. His forehead pressed against hers, and he spoke in a particularly helpless tone, "Cassidy, don't be mad. I won't make you use toys while talking to others anymore, okay?"

Cassidy had been furious after talking to Zoe, so Easton thought it was because he had forced her to use toys while meeting Zoe. He had been apologizing for this, but Cassidy ignored him every time. Now that he finally had a chance to be alone with her, he had to calm her down.

"Easton, I'm not mad. Let me go." Cassidy struggled to say.

"No, you have to accept my apology," Easton said.

Cassidy angrily pounded his chest, but each punch landed on his hard muscles, causing him no pain.

Easton grabbed her hand. "Stop hitting me; can we just talk?"

Cassidy lowered her head, her voice choked. "I'm not mad about that."

"What?" Easton was puzzled and asked, "Is it because I danced with Zoe?" As he asked, he dismissed this reason; Cassidy had been happy for him to dance with Zoe, so she wouldn't be mad about that.

"Is it because I entered your room without your permission?" Easton continued to ask; but he often did that, and Cassidy knew he would sneak into her room even here, so she had no reason to be mad about that. But apart from these things, he couldn't think of anything else that would make her mad.

"Easton, in your heart, am I just a plaything?" Cassidy's voice trembled as she remembered what Chase had said back then, and a torrent of anger and sorrow surged within her.

"What?" Easton was confused by her questions.

"Because I'm just your plaything, you told others about our relationship, right?" Cassidy continued.

Easton finally understood that Cassidy had found out that Chase had known about their special relationship and suspected that he had told Chase.

He felt helpless and a bit exasperated. "Cassidy, I have never regarded you as a plaything; you are the most important woman in my heart."
