Cassidy's moans were swallowed by the kiss, their breaths mingling in the heat of the moment. Easton, like a parched traveler in the desert, hungrily sucked on Cassidy's tongue, drawing in her moisture.
Outside the door, Owen was about to call out again when another voice interrupted. "Owen, what are you doing here?"
Cassidy recognized the voice; it was Scarlett, Owen's fiancée. Hearing Scarlett, Cassidy relaxed a bit, hoping she'd whisk Owen away. But with Easton pinning her down, Cassidy's thoughts shattered.
Outside, Owen's face darkened at the sight of Scarlett. He'd always known Scarlett was a spoiled rich girl with a nasty attitude, and he couldn't stand her.
His dislike for her peaked when she mocked Cassidy. He couldn't imagine marrying someone as ill-mannered as Scarlett.
But the marriage between the Cooper and Moore families was arranged when Ashton was still alive, and he had no say in it.
Scarlett, running into Owen in the bathroom, was determined to maintain her dignity, despite his earlier outburst making her furious.
She believed that Owen, given how handsome he was, could be forgiven if he apologized. Scarlett looked up at him, her tone haughty. "Owen, apologize to me, and I'll forgive your rudeness today!"
Her arrogance made Owen bristle, and her mere presence irritated him. "I'm not apologizing. You were the one in the wrong!"
Scarlett's smile faltered; pampered all her life, she hadn't expected anyone to dare speak to her like this.
If any other man had called her ill-mannered, she'd have had him dealt with! But Owen was her fiancé, and she only asked for an apology. Yet he blamed her?
"Owen, don't forget, you're supposed to be my husband! I'm the closest person to you! Yet today, you defended that bitch in front of everyone and insulted me! And now you won't even apologize?" Scarlett yelled, pointing at him.
Hearing her call Cassidy a bitch, Owen's anger boiled over.
He slapped Scarlett's hand away. "Scarlett, I will never marry you! I can't stand a vicious woman like you! Just hearing your voice disgusts me. I hate you. Stay away from me!"
Scarlett stared at him in disbelief; she was his fiancée, and he said he was disgusted by her! She'd never been humiliated like this!
Seeing her shocked expression, Owen felt even more irritated and walked away.
Scarlett watched him go, stomping her feet in frustration. "Owen!"
Inside the stall, where Easton and Cassidy were still going at it, they heard every word of the argument outside.
Cassidy hadn't realized Owen despised Scarlett that much. And Easton could see the same obsession in Owen's eyes that he felt himself: a burning desire for Cassidy. He frowned and thrust even harder.
While Owen and Scarlett were arguing, Easton hit all of Cassidy's sensitive spots, making her climax twice in no time.
Now, with Easton's even harder thrusts, her legs turned to jelly immediately, forcing her to brace herself against the counter to keep from collapsing.
"Cassidy, I didn't expect you to seduce me and then go after Owen," Easton growled.
Damn it, not this again! She had already told him she didn't seduce Owen! "I never seduced Owen! Can't you get that through your thick skull?"
Her words didn't faze him; Easton kept going, ignoring her protests.
After what felt like forever, Easton finally finished, leaving Cassidy completely spent, panting over the toilet. He cleaned her up and tidied the stall.
Cassidy put her dress back on and went to the sink to freshen up. Thankfully, Easton had the sense not to leave any obvious marks or mess up her hair.
After a quick clean-up, Cassidy regained her composure as the dignified head of the Cooper family. But her flushed face from the recent encounter might catch the sharp eyes of the wedding guests.
She bit her lip, splashed cold water on her face, and silently cursed Easton.
Easton suddenly turned to look at her.
"What?" Cassidy snapped, startled.
Easton laughed, and Cassidy couldn't read his thoughts, so she decided to drop it. "Easton, you can't do this again. It will ruin my reputation and the Cooper family's."
Easton, washing his hands, shot back, "Then stop trying to seduce others!"
Rolling her eyes, Cassidy thought, 'He is totally insane! I've told him countless times I didn't seduce Owen!'After tidying up, they left the restroom separately, each blending back into the wedding crowd with their own thoughts.
Hailey saw Cassidy and asked worriedly, "Cassidy, what took you so long? I was starting to get worried."
Cassidy thought, 'Something did happen; I was cornered by a dark, poisonous snake!' But she kept a gentle smile and said, "Sorry to worry you. I'm fine, really."
Hailey scrutinized her for a few seconds, making sure she was okay before relaxing.
Cassidy patted Hailey's hand and turned to mingle with the other guests.
Though it was Cassidy's first time attending a banquet as the head of the family, she had learned a lot from Ashton, so handling the crowd was a breeze.
