Cassidy's hand was yanked, and she snapped, "Easton, have you lost your mind?"
What the heck was this? Didn't he get it? Why did he follow her and drag her into the stall? What was he even trying to do?
"Easton, I don't care what kind of crazy you're on, but I want out. Let go of me!" She struggled to pull her hand free, but Easton yanked her closer, making Cassidy stumble into him.
Easton's back slammed against the stall door with a loud thud.
Cassidy's face went pale with fear, and she silently prayed no one was outside.
Easton saw her reaction and smirked, "Worried someone might see us?"
Cassidy shot him a glare. "I don't want to see my name next to yours in tomorrow's headlines!"
Even if nothing happened, just the fact that they were in a stall together would cause a scandal. A stepmother and her stepson in the women's restroom? That wouldn't look good.
"Easton, let go of me. This isn't The Cooper Manor!" Cassidy kept trying to free her hand.
What was up with Easton? Why was he acting so crazy?
Cassidy tried to think back on everything that happened today, searching for a reason for Easton's behavior. But no matter how hard she thought, she couldn't figure out why he was so mad.
As Cassidy looked down, trying to piece it together, Easton grabbed her chin, forcing her to look at him.
Cassidy choosing Owen this morning had already pissed him off, and at the wedding, she cried thinking about her dead husband, which just made him lose it. So when he saw Cassidy leaving the venue, he followed her.
The thought of her being sad over Ashton made Easton want to rip her dress off and show her who her lover was now. When she was about to leave the restroom, he dragged her into the stall.
Cassidy's questions only made him angrier, and he was about to snap. "Cassidy, don't you think it's messed up to think about your dead husband at a time like this?"
Cassidy was shocked. How did he know she was thinking about Ashton?
Her surprised look made Easton even more annoyed. He was always attuned to Cassidy's feelings, but she only saw him as a partner. She didn't care what he thought and couldn't see how angry he was!
Easton forcefully spread Cassidy's legs, and when she tried to stop him, he grabbed her chin and kissed her hard.
The kiss was rough. Easton's breath surrounded Cassidy, making it hard for her to breathe and very uncomfortable.
Cassidy tried to fight back, but Easton was one step ahead. He grabbed both her hands with one of his and pressed her waist with the other, lifting her feet off the ground with ease.
Then he quickly switched places with her, slamming her back against the stall door with a thud.
Cassidy's heart nearly stopped, but the silence outside told her they were alone in the restroom. She let out a small sigh of relief, and Easton took the chance to invade her mouth with his tongue, tangling it with hers. Their tongues wrestled wildly, and soon saliva was dripping from the corner of her mouth.
When Easton finally let go, Cassidy almost collapsed, but he caught her just in time.
"Easton!" she panted, ready to yell at him, but he didn't give her a chance.
His hand slid up her thigh, lifting the hem of her dress. His hot palm felt like it was burning her skin.
Cassidy's eyes widened, and she frantically tried to stop him. "What are you doing?"
"Isn't it obvious?" Easton yanked her hand away, pressing his fingers against her clit through her panties. Cassidy moaned from the sudden jolt and quickly covered her mouth, glaring at him.
But Easton ignored her. He rubbed her clit, his fingers slipping into her panties and entering her.
Cassidy's legs went weak, and she almost cried out. But Easton held her waist, keeping her from sliding down.
Her hands clung to his shoulders, trying to form a coherent sentence. "Easton, don't do this, not here, okay? After the banquet, we can go back to The Cooper Manor and... and make love."
She didn't even finish before Easton's fingers plunged deeper into her, stirring inside her. "Don't worry, we can continue when we get back too."
Cassidy realized he was dead set on having her right there in the stall. Resisting would only make him angrier, and she couldn't imagine what he'd do if she defied him.
Easton was a madman who always did whatever he wanted, never caring about the consequences. If she kept fighting and made too much noise, someone might hear, and if anyone found out about her and Easton, the fallout would be disastrous.
Cassidy had no choice but to go along with it. Easton sensed her submission and his mood improved a bit.
Cassidy could feel herself getting wet, and she anxiously grabbed his clothes. "Can you take off my dress?"
If her dress got dirty, it would definitely cause gossip, and she didn't want to be the center of attention.
