“No, this is bullshit.” The woman said nearly hysterically. “This is not true!” She said and people around are starting to whisper to each other while others are smiling and chuckling

“We’ll If you don’t believe then that’s not my problem,” I said as I smile at her face.

I don’t even know who she to Lucien is or why is she reacting like this, but I must say, I’m enjoying this. Why is she even so frustrated about this? I mean I know that she might be one of Lucien’s women before, but is she still not over him until now?

The woman starts crying and her friend started consoling her right in front of me, I couldn’t help but to look annoyed and frown watching. Her friends started to blame me and talk shit Infront of me, but I just smirked and rolled my eyes on them.

“I just left you for a few minutes and you already made someone cry?” A deep voice of man said from behind me as I felt a hand on my waist.

“I---It’s not my fault,” I said and cleared my throat. “She just cried, I just said that we live together.” Is aid innocently and smirked again at the group of women. “Did I say something wrong then?” I ask and look up at him.

“She lying right? Lucien? Tell me that she’s lying!” The woman whose crying that as she stops her foot on the ground.
“No, she is living with me. Why would she have to lie about that?” Lucien said that made me smile.

‘Well, that must hurt.’

“No! how can you do this! We we’re together for 3 months, we dated and you didn’t even ask me on date yourself! How can you bring this stupid face home?!” shouts hysterically.

‘Damn, 3 months? If he is not asking her on a date, how did she even know they’re dating?’

“We dated?” Lucien that me nearly burst out laughing, I looked at her trying to stop myself from laughing, but he just glared at me. “You must mistake me for someone else, I don’t do dates.” He added. “Let’s eat.” He said as she looked at me and I nodded.

“No! How can you easy forget about us like that!” The woman said, “This is your fault you bitch!” the woman said and tried to charge towards me

But just before she could grab me Lucien was able to able to push her hand from me and grab her throat,
“I hate desperate people like you, but what I hate even more is when those desperate people try to hurt my people.” He said to the woman who's trying to remove his grab on her neck. “Don’t ever come near us again, I might lose my control and just snap your neck.” He said and grabbed my hand and walk away from there.

‘His people, did he just say I’m one of his people?’

As we sat down, I looked at him as I put my chin on my hand with a smile.
“What? Did you got infected too by that woman’s craziness?” He asks that made me laugh.

“Don’t you really remember dating her or is that is just to make it sound cool?” I ask and he glared at me. I bite my lower lips and look away.

He’s always damn serious, always have his guard up. “What did you do? You’re so out for quite a long time, I nearly got tear they're into pieces.” I said trying to get something from him.

“I was talking with my father.” He said as he looks from a distance.

“Uh, okay. What did you talk about?” I ask casually and look at him, but he just glared at me again.

“I’m not that stupid, why would I tell you?” He said, “You’re a spy,” he added.

“Do you really think I’m still that? Do you think that if you let me go now, I’ll still be able to walk out of her alive?” I said to him and took a deep breath, “They probably though that I’m already dead by not, not even if they saw me alive, they will think that I told you something that why you kept me alive. Do you really think they still have a use with me?” I spoke.

I know that I’m lying but this is the only way I could gain even a little bit of his trust, lying is an art, but if I could with this lies, I know they will be the bullets that will end my life. But he just stayed silent when suddenly not from far away a familiar face made my eyes widen, and Lucien quickly notice it and look at the same way I was looking.

“You said we’re going to eat, where is the food?” I said trying to get his attention.

“They’ll serve be it in a minute.” He answered.

“Oh, then can I go to the restroom?” I asks, “Yeah, I’ll go I need to pee. I had too much champagne.” I said and quickly stood up without waiting for his response.

I quickly walk as fast as I can to the restroom, but instead of entering the women restroom I shove a man out of the men’s restroom.

“What the hell! His is for men!” The man said as I shove him out of the restroom and locked the door on his face.

“Close your fucking zipper as you close your mouth.” I shouted from inside.

I quickly push every cubicle inside the restroom open trying to find someone but, each one I open is empty.

“This is occupied,” A man’s voice said inside the last cubicle.

“I fucking know you idiot,” I shouted, “It’s me Richard, get out of there.” I said the door quickly opens.

“What the fuck are you doing here?” He asks shock as she saw me.

“I’m supposed to be the one asking you that! You don’t have any business to be here more than me,” I said and he sigh.

“I got a call from higher up, they want someone from Velatrium out. They don’t want it to be bloody that’s why they sent me,” He explained. “And you? Why are you here? For days I couldn’t contact you! Your family are worried. Auntie keeps ask about you I’m running out of excuses!” He said that made me pressed my eyes shut.

Fuck I forgot that they will be waiting for me, “Just say I’m out of the country for another mission and won’t be back anytime soon. You know where my money is Richard, please take care of them for me for now.” I said,

“What have you gotten yourself into Maelis,” He said with a look of worry, “I saw you earlier, I just didn’t react because I wasn’t sure and I didn’t think I’ll be seeing you with him.”

I grab my hair in frustration, when suddenly the door flew opens and nearly fell on the floor.

“What a sight”
