Chapter 113 Chapter 113
She looked bewildered, but nodded and gathered her things, sliding into her dress quickly before leaving the
room.
I sat for a while staring at the door, her aftertaste in my mouth.
I was fucked.

Daisy's POV::
"What are we doing here?"
Klaus glanced at me from the corner of his eye before turning back to the view before us.
"We're getting new clothes for you."
"I don't need clothes."
He chuckled, looking me up and down. "On the contrary, Daisy, we do. You need a lot of clothes. The plan won't work without them."
"What? What do you mean?" I was concerned. "And what is this plan of yours that you haven't told me?!"
He didn't reply, pulling me into the mall. When he arrived at an obviously expensive boutique, he dumped me into the hands of an attendant.
"Get her your best outfits," was all he said, before stepping away and sitting on a nearby couch.
"Hey! What do you- hey, let go of me!"
But the attendant was all too eager to dress me up, because she didn't let me go, despite all my protests.
"Too sexy," he said when she revealed the first outfit.
"It's not her."
"It clashes with her hair."
"It...that's fine."
And the cycle started all over again.
"He must really love you," one of the attendants who'd introduced herself as Audrey gushed as she zipped me into a tight blue dress that had a literal breath-taking corset. "Look how he's buying so many outfits for you!"
"I- I wish," I gasped. "Also, this thing is so terribly tight."
"Oh, sorry." She unzipped the dress, letting it fall to the floor, and selected another one. "This one seems like it'd bring out your eyes."
I eyed the dress. "It looks more like that kind of dress Cleopatra would have worn to see one of her many men.” "Ooh," she cooed. "Like a seductress?”
"Um, yes?"
Her eyes brightened. "Well, wouldn't that be a good thing for you? Your man would be unable to resist you after seeing you in this!”
"I think he mentioned that he doesn't want too sexy outfits," I pointed out. “He'd definitely not want this." She pouted but dropped the dress and found another one that was a lot freer around my abdominal region. I couldn't help but thank my lucky stars.
Klaus had a blank look on his face when Audrey ushered me out for him to see.
"That's good," he said blankly. “We need that in five colors. Black, Scarlet Red, Deep Blue, Deep Purple, and Silver."
“Um...we'd see if they're in stock sir.”
"They are,” he responded, giving her a cool look. "I'd had the store checked out before coming here."
By the time we'd gotten more than four bags of clothes and accessories, he finally seemed satisfied.
“There we go,” he said, placing the bags in the back of the car he'd driven.
"What's going on?" I asked, fuming. Sure, I'd liked the shopping spree just a bit, but since he was the one paying, I was very suspicious.
"It's part of the plan," he replied, and I felt like I would explode.
“Look, I know that I agreed to this, and you say I'm supposed to trust whatever you say now, but I'm not just going to keep following you blindly! I have to know exactly what you're-"
I was thrown forward from my seat as he slammed on the brakes.
"You're being so fucking loud.” His voice was calm, but there was an undercurrent. “And it's messing with my head."
I pursed my lips as he leaned in, his eyes looking like two storms.
"Listen, Daisy. I don't want you tailing along either. I don't like you like my brother did, but I'm sacrificing because Alpha Aiden needs to pay for killing Kieran. I'm just with you because of that, nothing else. So you'd better trust me like the fucking good girl you're supposed to be."
I frowned. "Don't call me that?"
He smirked. "Because the Alpha does?"
My eyes widened, and he chuckled.
"I hear stories, Daisy. Of how he fucks his slaves with care in the world. Of how rough he is, and how many slaves he has. I also heard of the new slave he got recently, who he seems to be attached to. And I heard...that her name is Daisy."
I took in a deep breath.
"So you see it," he said. "I have every right to kill you right now because you're related to that fool. But I'm not doing that. You know why? Because you're more valuable to me alive.”
"I-"
"As for the plan," he interrupted, just as a car horn blared from behind us, "I'll tell you when you get settled.” "I'm already settled," I defended. "I have a place to stay."
He scoffed. "I learnt that it was for as long as you were an employee. Don't be ridiculous, Daisy. You're now a fugitive." Then he stepped on the gas pedal and we were off.
"So... where would I be staying?" I asked.
“At my place,” was all he said, and the car was engulfed by silence.
About half an hour later he pulled into the parking lot of a large estate.
“What the-" I gazed in awe at the building before us. "You live here?!”
He glanced at me, then walked ahead. "What do you think of me? That because my brother is the leader of a rogue pack, we're dirt poor and have to fend for ourselves?”
“No, but-” I hurried after him and tried to help with the bags but stopped with a glare from him. “I just didn't think you'd live in such huge mansion."
"Sorry to surprise you," he said drily. I resisted the urge to roll my eyes.
We'd gone up the stairs and walked down a corridor when he stopped.
"This'll be your room," he said, indicating the door we were standing before. "Meet me downstairs in thirty minutes for us to discuss the plan you so much want to hear."
I stared at him as he walked away from me, then sighed and opened the door.
Damn. The room was huge.
