Aiden was at the hospital while Noah was taken for scanning. Noah's parents arrived at that moment, looking concerned.
" What happened?" Noah's mom Amelia asked Aiden in panic.
" Nothing to worry about; it's just a few bruises," Aiden tried to assure her.
" But how did it happen?"
Aiden was hesitant to reply.
" Please tell me," Noah's dad Daryl insisted.
" N-Noah had a fight."
" What?" Daryl and Amelia were shocked. " He is not someone to start a fight."
" I beat him up."
Aiden flinched when he heard the voice from behind.
" You?" Daryl asked angrily. " What is the meaning of this?"
" Didn't I warn you to keep your son away from Aiden?" Dylan sneered.
" What the hell is going on?" Amelia asked, looking from Daryl to Aiden.
" Why did you hit my son? I will report you," Daryl threatened.
" You can try," Dylan said indifferently.
" P-Please stop," Aiden pleaded with Dylan.
" Then come with me," Dylan said, holding Aiden's arm.
Aiden didn't want to create a scene in the hospital, so he thought it was best to leave. He gave a pleading look to Dylan and then turned to face Noah's parents. " I have to leave now. Please take care of Noah." Before Noah's parents could ask anything else, Aiden left the hospital with Dylan.
Dylan was silent throughout the ride home. Even when they reached home, he silently returned to his room without saying anything.
Aiden couldn't comprehend what Dylan was up to and what he wanted from him. Feeling frustrated, he decided to talk to Dylan the next day.
It was midnight, and Dylan was still wide awake as his mind was filled with thoughts of Aiden. Was he in love with Aiden? He had to be sure, as this uncertainty was driving him crazy.
Dylan went to Aiden's room, and it was locked. " Open the door," he screamed, banging on the door.
Aiden was startled and got up from his bed upon the sudden interruption. He was contemplating whether to open the door when the banging got louder.
" Why did you lock the door? Open up now."
Aiden reluctantly approached the door and turned the knob, thinking Dylan would be angrier if he didn't open it.
" What took you so long?" Dylan spat.
" I-I was sleeping," Aiden stuttered.
" I need to check something."
" W-What?"
" Just stay still."
" Huh?!"
Before Aiden could react, Dylan pushed Aiden towards the wall and pulled him for a kiss. The kiss was initially soft and gentle, but when Aiden tried to pull away, Dylan held his head and deepened the kiss.
Even though Aiden continuously tried to push him, Dylan was too far-gone. This time it felt even better than the last time he had kissed Aiden. He knew it was a mistake, forcing himself on Aiden but couldn't find himself able to pull away.
With great difficulty, Aiden somehow managed to push Dylan away from him, but Dylan grabbed his hands, placed them above his head, and kissed him again. This time the kiss was more aggressive and demanding.
He felt a thrill run down his back and loved every second of it. He pulled Aiden closer because right now, he just didn't want to let go.
Aiden was helplessly trying to wiggle out of Dylan's grip. Having no option left, he bit Dylan hard on his lips. Dylan was surprised by the unexpected attack and pulled away from Aiden. He put the finger on his lips and noticed it was bleeding.
Aiden was panting for breath, trying to gather himself. " W-Why d-did you do that?"
" You tell me, why?" Dylan smirked.
" A-Are you trying to get back at me for earlier?"
Dylan chuckled at that. " You can do better than that."
Aiden was confused by Dylan's behavior. He had expected Dylan to beat him, not kiss him, and now instead of getting angry at him, he was mocking him. He looked around, waiting for an opportunity to escape.
Dylan realized what Aiden was trying to do and grabbed him by his throat, not too tightly. " Do you want to run?" Dylan asked with a threatening smile. " You can't get away from me."
Aiden tried to pry Dylan's hands off his neck while Dylan rubbed his nose against him and started sucking his neck.
" P-Please s-stop," Aiden pleaded, feeling violated.
" I can't," Dylan moaned. " I really want to, but I can't."
" W-Why are you doing this? I-Is this one of your s-sick punishments?"
Dylan suddenly stopped what he was doing and stared at Aiden. His lustful eyes soon turned to anger, and he tightened the hold on Aiden's neck and yelled, " The f**k did you say?"
" P-please..."
" You think this is a punishment?" Dylan screamed. " Do you know how difficult it was for me?"
Aiden gasped for air. " Y-You are hurting me."
Dylan realized what he was doing and immediately loosened his grip on Aiden's neck. " Sorry, I didn't mean to hurt you."
Aiden was shocked. Was Dylan saying sorry to him? Did he hear that right?
" Do you know how difficult it was for me to accept my feelings?"
" W-What feelings...?" Aiden asked.
" The feelings I have for you."
" W-What do you mean?"
Dylan held Aiden's arms and took a deep breath. He stared into his eyes and said, " I think I like you."
Aiden obviously didn't believe him. He was thinking about what Dylan was playing at, and Dylan didn't like the confused expression on his face.
" You don't believe me," Dylan spat angrily. " Of course, you don't believe me. Whatever I say is a joke to you, right?"
" I-Its not that. You said you hate g-gays."
" That's why it's tough. You are confusing me, and it's driving me insane. Do you think I want to be like this?" Dylan said, feeling frustrated.
" B-But how can you like me? You always hated me."
" When did I ever hate you?" Dylan asked, appalled.
Aiden thought of the times he was beaten and tortured by Dylan. Didn't he do it because he hated him?
"You have been the only one in my mind for the past few days. I can't seem to concentrate on anything else. When I am awake, I think about you, and when I am asleep, I dream about you. I hate what I have become, and I want to hate you for making me like this, but how much ever I try, I can't bring myself to hate you."
" I-I think you are mistaken."
" Even I thought the same," Dylan stated. " How could I fall for a guy? It's totally absurd." He then approached Aiden and put his palm on his face. " But when I touch you like this, I feel my heart flutter. I have never had this feeling for anyone else, not towards the countless girls I have dated nor my current girlfriend. "
Dylan grabbed Aiden's hand and placed it on his pounding heart. " See how it's beating. Do you still think I am lying?"
" T-This is not right; y-you can't do this." Aiden still didn't wholly believe Dylan; even if he did, he didn't like it.
" You are right about that," Dylan said. " I can't do this. What would the others think of me? I am a CEO of a huge company, and I have an image to maintain."
" Then please forget whatever happened and leave," Aiden said, trying to sound brave.
Dylan gave an evil laugh at Aiden's words. " That would be too easy for you, right? Me forgetting about my feelings and letting you go so you could return to your dear boyfriend?" he spat the last word with disgust.
" Do you take me for a fool? You want me to suffer alone? After making me yearn for you, do you think I will let you go? Even if I can't accept you, I won't allow you to be with that bastard. Do you know why?"
"W-Why?"
" Because I get jealous seeing you with him, and I don't like that feeling."
Aiden widened his eyes in shock.
" Oh...Don't look at me like that. Did you think I stopped you only because I hated gays? Not at all. Initially, I told myself that was the reason, but the fact is that I never liked seeing you with anybody else." Dylan sneered. " Do you remember that one friend you had in school whom you had brought home? What was his name...? Doesn't matter. I never liked you being friends with him or anybody else."
Aiden backed away in fear, looking at Dylan's almost sinister expressions. Dylan's mood changed in a second, so he didn't know what to expect.
" ...And how can I forget that son of a b**ch Bill? He dared to lay his hands on you, and I almost beat him to death. It's a shame I didn't realize my feelings back then. The five years I was forced to stay away from you was the most pathetic time of my life. I missed you every second."
Aiden stepped back again, but his back touched the wall.
" Why are you getting away from me? Are you scared?" Dylan asked calmly. He suddenly grabbed him and hugged him tightly. " You don't have to be scared of me. I love you, and I don't want to hurt you. Just make sure you listen to me and do as I say, and everything will be alright. Okay..?"
Aiden didn't respond and stood still as a rock as Dylan hugged him.
" Why are you not responding?" Dylan seethed, backing away from Aiden and squeezing his arm hard.
Aiden flinched, trying to get rid of Dylan's hold on him.
" I want to stay calm with you, but you are constantly testing my patience. Do you want me to force you?"
Aiden shook his head vigorously.
" Then do as I say," Dylan said and hugged Aiden again.
