Hadrian's pov

“I saw her today…Alisia”

My heart slipped the moment I heard her name, “ what did she tell you?”Cassia waved her head, but I know she must have had a conversation with an emotional outburst.

Alisia never used nice words, she had venom everytime waiting to be spilled at anyone who would be unfortunate to be near her venomous lips, she must have heard of Cassia being here and decided to pay her a visit, I should have predicted this earlier to prevent it, how careless?.

“Tell me” I command, she still keeps mute, tears pooling down her eyes, she sweep them clean a few time yet didn’t say a word, the silence toyed with my patience, it felt as though I was made to swallow magma just watching her, but then I want her to talk on her own pace.

Images of her laying helpless in my hands flashes in my mind, it grips my heart even more, “ Cassia, speak to me”, she pulls my hands off her face before pulling my hands off her face, “whatever she said doesn’t mean anything”.

Pulling her trap, she climbs into the bath, still solemn and quiet, she didn’t bother to look at me, smile when I said something funny, she just waited till she was out of the bath, this is the saddest I have seen her ever since I knew her, it felt suffocating, alisia must pay for this, she doesn’t have the right to talk to Cassia about anything.

Coaxing till she sleep off, it was the best time to rectify my mistakes, which I should have done way earlier,just a few minutes away from my castle I rode down to Alicia house, she always had a way of knowing when I arrived her sense of smells was unlike any other wolf, if I must say it was one of the reason why she was my best, not only was she endowed she had courage and skills, unlike every other wolf that had warmed my bed.

Few minutes outside, I didn’t have to knock for the door to be open, I wasn’t expecting her to be shocked, she looked prepared for me, like she was aware I would be now, her her silk nice wear were almost transparent I could see the perfectly round tits just by staring under the moonlight.

Her scent heightens, she must have enhances her pheromones, which were undeniably alluring, her smiles wide as thought she had just seen treasure, She pulls me in with one hands, hitting the door behind her, her eyes not leaving mine, trailing towards the couch not far from where she stood,she pushes me on it.

This lady over here said something to Cassie that shouldn’t be said, and here she was pretending to be innocent.

“You don’t look happy Handrian, I am here to help you out, don’t hold me” she leans further for s kiss but I love my face away immediately, her eyes held confusion as she stares at me, she stands from my thighs immediately, then she began to undress, her robe were tossed on me, filling my nostrils with her scent.

Leaving only her underwear and night bra, her hands stuck on the strap, she Jiggy’s them before pulling them down, looking at her even longer to encourage my demon to scare her, , “ what did you tell Cassia?”, she immediately rolled her eyes, pausing on her trail.

“I should have known it was all about her then” she Pick her robes from the floor putting them on, “ tell me now” I demanded, but instead she walks out on me, nobody walks out on me, taking to my feet I hold her by her hand, she jerks them away immediately, “

Let me go, she yells as she walks into her bedroom, agitated for an answer. I pull her again, this time holding her by the jaw.

“ What did you tell cassie?”

“ I told her you are mine, handrian you are mine” her gut stupefies me, I belong to no one, “ how dare you?” Leaving her jaw, my hands forked my hair, just thinking about it, that’s why Cassie didn’t speak, she shouldn’t have…

“stay away from Cassie or I will kill you”

“ then kill me, cause I won’t leave her, till you finally accept you are mine”, her words weren’t baffling she had guts wolds were trained to have, but she trembled upon one she shouldn’t mess with

“ Then prepare to die”, walking out of the room, she runs after me, pulling my coat, sobbing furiously.

“ she doesn’t deserve you, I do, don’t leave me, please” her finger pulls my coat down, stopping me from moving freely, “ let me go!” I jerk my sleeve and she falls to the floor, “ please, she doesn't deserve you, I do, handrian”.

“ find a life, and stay out of my business” climbing on my horse I race off her house track to the castle.

I should have known better, staying away from them. For a day wouldn’t be enough to keep them away, mostly Alicia she was like a leech that wouldn’t go till it left marks, permanently, but tonight marks the end, anywhere she is seen around this castle would send her head rolling them down the cliffends,

Opening my door I see Cassia sitting on the bed, only the side lights were on and all I see in the room was her solemn unmoving figure, “ you are awake?”.

“ You went to see her, didn’t you?” she said her voice low and void, how did she know?, how long was she awake, did she look for me?.

“ yes”

“ But it’s not what you think, let’s go back to bed, walking towards her. I try pulling towards me but she retorts immediately, “ you smell of her scent” she said, pulling, damn I should have changed, before getting any closer, how careless.

“ she was close to me”

“ You had sex with her, didn't you?” she asked again, the pace at which she asked a lot must be streaming through her mind and all were totally lies and mere assumptions.

“ no” I replied

“ Do you still love her!” I walk toward her holding her in my arms, she tried to push me away but I hold her close, “ I only love you, no one else”,

“ Then why do you smell her scent ?”

“ She wrapped herself around me” knowing my word would result to an immediate retaliation I hold her firmly

“ We didn’t do anything I promise, you weren’t going to tell me what she told you, and I am sorry, you had to see that”, she peeked at me through wet eyes, sadness lingers between us, never in a million years would I dream of hurting her this bad, never have I felt this immersed with someone I have known for such a short while, but I was certain for sure I would do anything to have her here.
