Three months later

If someone told me all them years ago I would be where I am now I would have laughed at them. It has been like riding a roller coaster to get where I am, sitting here today, watching everyone around me smiling, happy and contented in life.

We all sat around Kane\'s office as we listened in on his phone call to the elders, We were trying to verify the documents which named Kane as Ruler, a royal if you will. It had been a few months since we began speaking with the Elders, back and forth with the paperwork we found hidden in a safe underneath Kane\'s desk. It was Victor that found it, the day he attacked us. Kane and his family had no idea it was even there.

\"How are we getting on with this matter Elder John, We just need to know where we stand, if it is real what do we have to do?\" Kane asked.

\"Alpha Corban, With the research, I have done and the copies you have sent me I can happily tell you that these are in fact true. Looking back through your family lineage, it seems the paperwork you had from Alpha Eric was right. However, there is a lot to be discussed regarding your new position\". We all looked around the room at one another in amazement. We had all just come to the same conclusion that the documents were fake. Something Kane\'s grandfather had drawn up while he wasn\'t well.

\"How do you mean?\" Kane questioned.

\"Well, we had to go back quite some way to research the position. It seems like, as a named Royal, you will control the werewolf kingdom entirely. As this is something we as elders do, we weren\'t aware of the deed being passed to anyone. We would need to basically hand the reins to you. I understand it\'s a lot so I propose we still work closely with you if you wish for the next year. Just so you can get to grips with everything. But legally everything falls to you and by marriage to your bride. Until the day you sign over your reign to your Son\"

\"Ok, well thankyou Elder John, you have been a great help\" Kane thanked him.

\"You are most welcome, we will be back in touch over the next few days to start the proceedings\" Elder John informed him before they both said their goodbye\'s.

We were all in shock, Kane sat back rubbing his face, neither of us believed this would happen. \"Well how about that\" Ryder laughed. His phone began to ring in his pocket. \"It\'s Foster,\" He said before answering it.

\"Foster\" A moment of silence followed, \"We\'ll be right there\" He cut the call and stood from his chair.

\"More people on the border wanting to join the pack\", he informed Kane.

\"Yeah I heard\", he sighed. In the last few months alone, we had grown by over three hundred. Kane had also turned a few people away. Becoming very particular about who he had in his pack. The forest had become the main talking point for wolves, as news spread of Victor\'s death and Kane\'s new heritage people came from everywhere wanting to join us. We have a lot of work cut out for us.

Several Months Later

I looked across the lawn out the front of our home, looking across the sea of people dancing and laughing. I can just see Kane and Enzo bouncing on the inflatable bouncy castle. They were like two peas in a pod, so alike in everything they do. Enzo even has the same grumpy face as his father, and don\'t get me started on the things they get up to with Ryder and Ansel.

Today was Lottie\'s initiation into the pack. Everyone came to celebrate the day. All our families were here, joining in with the festivities with the rest of the pack. Elijah and Mason had bonded quite well, he seemed to have taken Mason under his wing. Even his own son Edward was mesmerized by Mason, he always had a smile on his face.

Just two weeks ago, Blair and Ryder had the most perfect baby girl. She was beautiful. Kane led the ceremony today, finally welcoming Lottie into our pack. Enzo was obsessed with her. I can tell he is going to be the overprotective type towards his family. He had grown so fast, he followed his father everywhere he went.

Kala appeared by my side, handing me a plate of food. \"How you feeling?\" she asked.

\"I\'m ok, just need a minute, my feet aren\'t agreeing with me walking anywhere\". I laughed as I looked down at my ever-growing bump, where my little girl was growing nicely. We were more prepared this time. I chose her name this time as Enzo was suggested by Kane. I chose Octavia, Kane loved it so I was happy with my choice. Knowing Little Octavia was going to be here any day now Kane was on tenderhooks.

The truth was I was worried for Kala and Ansel, since Enzo came into the house everyone seem to have got baby fever. It wasn\'t long before Blair fell pregnant, but Kala had been struggling to conceive. They weren\'t sure why it hadn\'t happened, as it was quite common for mates to fall pregnant quite quickly. Especially if their heat happens, which was the case for Blair. Kala, however, didn\'t have that not having a wolf so it was taking a little longer than she hoped.

I could see it in her eyes as she looked around at all the families, myself and Blair included. \"It\'s been a good day\" Kala smiled, Lottie\'s dress is amazing\" We both looked at Blair who was standing talking to some people, holding her daughter the frills of her tiny dress overflowed Blair\'s arm, the smile on her face said it all, she really was glowing,

\"It\'s beautiful\" I agreed, offering her some of my cake I had on my plate.

Kala raised her hand, pulling a strange face, \"No thanks, I\'m not very hungry today\"

\"You feeling ok?\" I asked her, eyeing her strangely, she usually wasn\'t one for turning down cake.

\"Yeah, I\'m good\" She replied giving me a coy smile.

I put the plate down beside me \"Ok spill, what\'s going on?\" I asked just as Ansel walked past us, carrying a bag of ice. He winked at Kala as he walked by. I watched her blush as she kept her eye on him emptying the bag of ice into the barrel containing all the drinks.

\"I didn\'t want to say anything and ruin Blair\'s day\" she began.

\"Oh my gosh, you\'re pregnant!\" I squealed. I used my hands to cover my face, not wanting everyone to see I had just figured out the most amazing news ever.

\"SSHHH\" Kala shushed me, looking around, making sure nobody heard.

\" Sorry\" I whispered, realizing how loud I was. \" Congratulations! You have to tell Blair, she will be so happy for you. You won\'t ruin her day at all. Quite the opposite, actually, she will be over the moon\" I hugged her. I couldn\'t be happier for her right now.

\"Mumma\" I heard a little voice shouting, Enzo\'s tooth smile appeared as Kane carried him over.

\"Hello, you\" I leaned forward to kiss him.

\"I\'m going to go see Blair,\" Kala said as she got up. I got up giving her a knowing smile.

\"You ok?\" Kane asked.

\"Yep!\" I chirped.

\"So it\'s finally happened, another baby to add to the collection\" He smiled.

\"I don\'t know what you\'re talking about!\" I shrugged, trying to avoid looking at him.

\"Please, I could have heard you from the other side of the forest\" He laughed.

I looked at him shocked, \"Really\"

\"Relax I don\'t think anyone else heard, I did because I keep an ear out for you all the time. This little one could make an appearance at any moment!\" He rubbed my belly, feeling a kick I jumped slightly. This pregnancy has been very different to Enzo\'s, I had been as sick as a dog, no pun intended. She moves constantly, especially when Kane is near.

\"That felt like a strong one,\" Kane said concerned, holding his hand on my belly where she was moving.

\"Yeah, it\'s when your around, I think she is going to be a daddy\'s girl. I seem to just grow them to hand them over to you\" I smirked.

Kane laughed, \"you ever think we would be this lucky to have what we have?\" he held onto my hand, bringing it to his mouth kissing it softly.

\"We\'ve been through alot to get here, but we made it\" I smiled back at him.

We sat in silence for a while, I rested my head on his shoulder. Just enjoying being here in this moment \"Everyone\'s starting to leave, it\'s been a long day. Head on in if you want, put your feet up and ill sort Enzo\"

\"No, I\'m fine,\" I said as I watched everyone. Enzo was fast asleep in Kane\'s arms. We just sat and discussed our future. What we wanted to do with the pack? After all, we had a long life planned out ahead of us.
