HE WAS FATIGUE

"Stay away from him, Darien,' Adolph warned him. "He's not one of your play toys, Stay the hell away from him."

What was he doing? Why couldn't he just mind his business, why is he so angry, because Darien is by the Omega's side. Why does he feel so furious?

Darien laughed, he looked at his brother for some time and chuckled, putting his hands on each side of his pockets.

"What are you laughing at?''

"The wolf inside you wants him, he cherishes him and wants you to accept him as his mate. Why are you being so stubborn?' His expression turned solemn.

"What do you know," Adolph remarked.

"What do I know,' he scoffed. "Are you asking me such a question? You are my elder brother, I learned about this fated mate stuff, which is all true to me and you are going to throw that away."

"You have no right to tell me what to do, leave.' He solemnly stated.

'I see, I have no right to tell you what to do, then, let me take him as my mate."

"That's not possible, he's not your fated mate, Stay the fuck away from him, Darien and get out of here." He pointed at the door. "Get out." He strictly ordered.

He should stop this embarrassment.

"If I don't get out of here, what are you going to do about it?" He dared and his eyes changed into yellow and glowed.

"Don't mess with me, Darien. Stay out of my issues,' he warned.

"You are about to lose your life and you want me to stay out of it, imagine Kijani hears about this, do you think he will be happy to see his brother die and you want to see for yourself huh."

"Darien, stay out of this." He solemnly warned, not taking his eyes off Darien for a moment. "Don't let me repeat myself."

Darien hissed, clenching his fist, why don't his jerk of a brother see reason with him and stop sticking by his wife, if it wasn't for his father who told him about this and to come speak some senses to his brother, he wouldn't have heard about it and had known what to do. He was mad at the entire situation and faced Lupita with a warning. "You are the Luna here, you should be able to talk to your husband and save his life before we think of gathering here. I know you don't want to share your man with someone else, but you have to do that for his own safety if you really love him, as you claimed. I don't want anything to happen to my brother, don't joke with me, Lupita. If anything should happen to my brother, I will turn your family, including everyone against you, MARK MY WORDS." With that, he walked out of the ward in anger and Richard eyed his son and also walked out of the ward as well. The priestess motioned for Liam to follow her, wanting to give some privacy between the couple, in sorting out the issue and he did.

As soon as he went out of the ward, walking behind the priestess, he stopped in his tracks, with his hands folded across his chest. The priestess noticed he wasn't walking anymore and turned around to see him, staring at the floor.

"Is anything the matter,' she concernedly asked and walked a bit closer to him.

"Is there really no other way to break our fate.' He inquired. "I'm ruining his family, priestess. Please, break it off, I'm begging you, please. If there is any other way, please break it and I will be this clan's chosen one, I promise. I cross my heart and I will be the chosen one and help the clan. If you want me to swear an oath before you with my life, I will do it but please, don't let this happen to him. He's got kids and a wife he truly loves. If we were meant to be together, would he have gotten married to someone else? Wouldn't he have waited for me to arrive,' his eyes were welling up, hot tears dripping down his eyes? Liam went to his knees and bowed before the priestess, sobbing bitterly and lightly punching the cold floor with his fist.

'PLEASE,' He pleaded with the priestess. She sighed for the tenth time and felt sorry for the poor boy, his destiny isn't that bad anyway. He has a great gift, he just wants someone to tell him what to do and be by his side. Why wouldn't these two just bond and let this come to an end, the full moon is fast approaching and this had to be compulsory, purify the clan and let everything work out for them?

Who cares about ruining the family, when thousands of lives are at stake and it is her responsibility to take care of it and watch out for their safety.

The priestess felt pity for the boy, but closed her eyes for a few seconds and opened them again. "There is a way,' she blurted and Liam jolted up and quickly got up from the ground, dusting whatever was on his body.

"Tell me, please. I will do anything to break this bond, Priestess."

'What are you going to do now,' Lupita asked with her eyes welling up. "Is this how our marriage is going to end?"

"Lupita, just stop, please."

He was getting insane.

"I'm not stupid, Adolph. I saw you, you were defending the Omega, something you've never done before…"

"I don't know what is wrong with me, Lupita,' he snapped and his eyes glowed red, which startled his wife.

"Just leave me alone, I want to be left alone, please?' He sat down, panting and cupped his face, having and feeling different types of emotions in him. It was so sad and he couldn't even explain why he felt devastated just thinking of Liam.

This name was all he could think about, why can't he just accept him and let this torture end.

Why? Why? Of all the people on the earth, why does it have to be an Omega and when he was married. Why didn't he show up, when he had kids, why he wasn't married, fuck? What was he deliberations? Damn these emotions.

He was fatigued.

"You want to be left alone, huh! What are you going to tell the kids when they start asking questions about us.' She snapped. Why was he being this way, this wasn't the same man she got married to, this wasn't the same man who makes her heart skip, this wasn't the same man who made her day and was the father of their children. An Alpha of the clan, a warrior and the leader, King of the Fire pack, the unbeatable pack who everyone gets scared of, go down the drain, only because of a slutty bitch.

He also snapped. "Why are you reacting this way, you think I haven't thought of that? What I'm going to do, to cut myself off from the Omega and find another way to cure myself. You think I haven't had these thoughts on what I'm going to do, to not hurt my family and forsake them."

"Really, Adolph. I'm devastated, Adolph." She fell to her knees and sat down on the floor crying. "I'm going to be laughed at, an Omega sleeping with my husband is a huge disgrace to me and the entire household."

"And, you think I loved it. I don't like any of this, Lupita. This was why I didn't want to tell you because I knew you would be worried. That's why, I kept it from you, and wanted to find the cure to it. When I noticed he was my mate, I didn't accept him, I was against this for weeks. I'm the one suffering it, I never dreamed or wished for it to happen. If I had my way, I would stop all this and as for my kids, I didn't want to disappoint them." He sadly explained and tears fell down from his eyes and Lupita got up and hugged him.

She felt so sad and sorry for him, looking at how pale he was, broke her heart.

"Everything will be alright, Adolph. Everything will be alright, my love,' she consoled and patted his back. A few minutes passed, and Adolph pulled away from her and told her that he was weak and that he wanted a good nap. Lupita nodded and allowed her husband to sleep since he needed to rest. Lupita left his side, went to the bathroom and cried so bitterly. Why was this happening to her, what kind of disgrace was this to the clan. What should she do now? Her husband is dying, there was no cure, except for that foolish piece of disgusting Omega, who appeared in front of her husband to ruin everything for them.

What should she do about this? If her husband dies, the Omega will follow and die with him, but if she let him sleep with the Omega, her husband will be alive and healthy but that Omega will still be in her way of her being a Luna.

She can't let this go on? What will emerge to her life now? She whimpered so hard, her face was all puffed up, she took her phone and called her best friend.

The phone rang for a couple of seconds before it got answered.

"What's up, Luna. How are you doing?" Her best friend Taila had always been with her since they were kids and since she got married to her husband, instead of calling her by her usual name, she called her a Luna and she also said that she loved the name Luna so much, even though she later became a Luna herself, she was still calling her a Luna. She was her confidant and always had her back, she was the only one, she could trust right now more than anything and also ask for her advice.

"I need to see you, Taila.' She muttered, sorrowfully.

"What is it, Lupita. You don't sound good, is everything alright with you."

"Yes, please come to our usual spot and let's meet please."

"Ok, I will be there before you know it.' She said and hung up.

Lupita wiped off her tears and left the bathroom, so she could have a word with her best friend.
