Chapter 242

Godfrey and Rafael were now out of commission leaving only the Queen, Regina, fighter and Gertrude to go and see what was going on in the ruins of the castle.
As they kept moving forward, Regina moved closer to Rene and asked.
"Are you sure about being here... If... You don't have to go through with it, you can go hide, we won't think any less of you,"
Rene smiled at her and stated.
"It's alright, I've made my peace with it, I'm needed on this battlefield for one reason, and I intend to fulfill it once and for all,"
Regina had a sad expression on and that confused all those present. They finally reached the ruins of the once great snow fang pack. On top of the rubble was Byron he had removed all his bandages revealing his horribly burnt body, the zeta symbol device was on his chest and flashes of blue and green light flared everywhere, the magical energy started to flow around him majestically.
"What... What have you done? Where are Klaus and Yuzurp?!" Queen Rene asked.
Byron smiled, "Dead... Absorbed by the zeta drive, and now a part of me!"
The energy began to heal Byron's skin and hair, returning him back into his handsome self with short flowing black hair.
"How dare you, a lowly Beta like yourself do such a thing like turn against your alpha?!" Queen Rene said, disappointed in Byron's actions. Killing both alphas in such a cowardly fashion.
As if dumb brutes like you idiots would understand my plans, the zeta drive was created by me to enable a werewolf to go beyond the level of an alpha... To become a Zeta! A being just inches away from godhood, and that's what I have become!" Byron shouted again, and more light surrounded him.
A transformation never seen before took place. Byron's hair turned white and covered his entire body in white fur, he became longer and stayed on the top of his head, and his eyes were now completely Black and the inside of his mouth was also pitch black.
"What... What are you?" Fighter asked, confused.
"I'm... The.... Zeta!" Byron charged at them and released a power wave of blue and green energy that felt both hot and cold at the same time.
Everyone was blown away, but the fighter stood his ground.
"Eight layered vacuum punch!" Fighter delivered a power punch that moved Byron backwards a bit, but didn't significantly injure him.
"Cute, my turn!" Byron said and punched Fighter who tried to block the blow with his right hand, only for that hand to get broken into four different pieces.
"Ahhhhhhh!" Fighter screamed in pain as he was thrown meters away from the city.
Gertrude attacked next. "Divide!" The ground underneath Byron's feet broke apart into a million pieces and all those pieces started to attack him individually.
"Stop raising dust!" Byron shouted before unleashing a powerful sonic wave that destroyed all of the debris around him.
"Let's see how you like this, pew!" He pointed his left hand at the ground beneath Gertrude's feet and fired off a blue and green beam that blew up the ground and severed Gertrude's left leg from her body while also sending her flying off.
Regina, seeing just how much of a threat Byron had become, decided to use her forbidden technique against him, in hopes of sealing his power.
"Folic containment?" Every single hair follicle on Regina's hair started to swarm around Byron and encapsulated him in a hair cocoon. "This will get small and small until you fade out of existence itself!"
Or so she had hoped, within a split second Byron broke straight out of the hair cocoon, destroying all of Regina's hair and turning her bald in the process with nuclear fission. It seemed like Byron could use both of Klaus' Ice magic and Yuzurp's nuclear magic. Regina fainted from all of her hair Falling off, leaving only Queen Rene who was getting ready to fight back.
'Poor alpha, no beta,no delta, no pack members, your alone and worthless, I am the future, I will unite whatever remains of southern werewolves after I'm done with this stupid alliance, we'll rebuild everything from scratch but in my image, the way if should be," Byron said smiling, he was so closed to complete domination.
"Hmph, don't you dare underestimate the resilience of werewolves and humans," Rene said.
'Hmph, if that's what you think, then I'll show you the truth, that no one is coming to help you..." As Byron was about to finish her off two bright glaring auras came from behind him and struck at the same time sending him backwards, but he teleported out of the way to recover, it seemed like the attack actually hit.
It was Hunter and... Lucius working together?
"Hunter... What's going on?" Rene asked because of this unlikely duo that was formed.
"It's nothing, just for now... He isn't the biggest threat, that shiny looking bastard is and we intend to beat him here once and for all," Hunter said as he looked disgusted just by the fact of working together with Lucius.
"Byron?! You bastard, you killed Yuzurp! Our leader?! How could you, you ungrateful bastard?" Lucius said he was just angry as hell at his father.
"Ah, my foolish son, figures that you wouldn't be able to understand my goals, yes your precious Alpha is dead, and if you don't comply, you all will be next too, accept my offer and become my beta," Byron offered but Lucius spat on the floor.
"I will never join you, a cowardly werewolf that acts in the shadows and tries to manipulate any and everyone close to them, you deserve nothing but death for what you have! The rent pack is finished because of you?" Lucius said angrily.
Byron just laughed at all of them, two seasoned fighters versus an evil technician, it truly was an insane match, and it was going to take a lot out of the parties involved.
