Chapter 39 Macau
Danieru and Camilla had just arrived at their hotel room. Since they finished eating with Hatsu and Rachel, the newlyweds had been preoccupied with their own thoughts.
Neither of them had any intention of starting a conversation; they simply held hands, ignoring the people around them.
Camilla was busy thinking about the best way to meet the two people, while Danieru was busy trying to avoid meeting them again.
The two of them immediately entered the elevator, and fortunately, no one else wanted to follow them.
“I want to talk,” they both said simultaneously. They looked at each other, then looked away.
“You go first.” They both said it again at the same time. They looked at each other again, then both fell silent.
“Okay, you go first.” Danieru chose to give in, wanting to hear what Camilla really wanted to say this time. The man leaned against the elevator wall, staring at the closing doors.
Camilla didn't speak immediately; she simply pressed the elevator button. The woman exhaled slowly, glancing at Danieru, who was still patiently waiting for her to speak.
“What do you want to say?” Danieru asked.
Camilla sighed, unsure if Danieru would comply. But... this was for their enjoyment.
“Kitty, what do you want to talk about?” Danieru asked.
Camilla thought again; it wouldn't be wise to just blurt out her wishes. She should take Danieru somewhere where there were actually lots of people.
The woman's mind raced, remembering places that could be entertaining at night. Camilla's eyes stared at the glass wall, where she could see the view of Macau from the elevator that continued to ascend to the floor where she and her contact's husband were staying.
They were staying at the JW Marriott Hotel Macau, located at MO Galaxy Macau, Estrada da Baía da Nossa Senhora da Esperanca s/n, Travessa da Esperanca Macau. This location was very strategic, and it was impossible for the biggest entertainment venues to be far from here.
Camilla stared at one of the large buildings she had managed to reach. The place looked so elegant, it wouldn't be suspicious if she took Danieru there.
Camilla immediately took her phone out of her small bag, searched for the name of the place, and smiled when she found it.
Google Maps was incredibly useful in situations like this. The woman immediately approached Danieru, smiling and blinking a few times.
"What's going on?" Danieru asked. He was quite surprised by Camilla's behavior. She was truly a woman, he couldn't figure out.
"Would you like to join me tonight? I haven't played in a while, and I'm really craving it." Camilla stroked Danieru's chest, and the woman smiled happily as he stroked her cheek.
It seemed like this would work. She had to take advantage of Danieru's kindness and the way he was treating her now.
Camilla thought again about how to express her desire. She lifted her head, and at that moment, her eyes met his.
Ah... damn, why did Danieru look so handsome at a time like this? How could he make her forget what she wanted to say?
Danieru grinned, his mind wandering, thinking beautiful thoughts, without knowing what Camilla meant.
Danieru brought his face closer, now only inches apart. He could feel Camilla's breath, and he could even clearly smell her sweet scent.
Honestly, he was starting to be tempted. Camilla's ambiguous words made him think a little dirty. He had already guessed what Camilla wanted, and now he was desperate to play with his beautiful and sweet wife.
Camilla, watching her husband's behavior, felt strange. Why was he smiling like that? And look... Danieru's face was even flushed.
"What are you thinking, huh?" Camilla asked. The woman immediately pulled her face away, an alarm in her head ringing, warning her to avoid Danieru.
Danieru looked at his wife strangely. Why did Camilla seem to be avoiding him, even afraid of him?
“You?” Camilla swallowed hard. She was dead. What was Danieru thinking? Why did he look so strange?
“A-ah... I was just thinking about your offer.” Danieru looked embarrassed. The man smiled, even biting his lower lip, trying to hold back something that would be embarrassing if revealed.
“What are you thinking?” Camilla asked.
Danieru looked away, unsure whether to say what he was thinking or not. The man glanced at Camilla, then immediately approached her again, and cornered her against the elevator wall. Danieru hugged Camilla, then crushed her lips.
The man closed his eyes; he had been feeling aroused, eager to taste every inch of Camilla's body now.
Camilla, aware of Danieru's dirty thoughts, immediately pushed him away. But unfortunately for her, Danieru didn't want to let go.
Camilla punched Danieru in the chest, wanting him to let her go immediately. She couldn't stand being in this position any longer, and she was truly annoyed that the elevator hadn't opened yet.
'Oh, God... help me!' Camilla squeezed her eyes shut, her hands clenched into tight fists. Camilla's body trembled, she was afraid... the image of those men forcing her back flashed again.
Danieru... why did that man do this? Why did he have to scare her again?
Danieru, sensing Camilla's rejection, immediately released her lips. The man smiled as Camilla glared at him.
Plak ...
The slap was so hard, the sound echoed so loudly.
Danieru had to tilt his head, wiping the blood from the corner of his lips. Right... he should have remembered that Camilla didn't like being forced. He had completely forgotten that Camilla had a trauma that was so difficult to overcome.
Camilla's hand trembled, she held her breath. She had just slapped Danieru... she had just hurt him, and it was completely unintentional.
"You really have a dirty mind," Camilla said so quietly, almost inaudibly. She was trying to distract herself, not wanting either herself or Danieru to focus on the scene just moments before.
Danieru pinched Camilla's cheeks lightly, enjoying teasing her. Camilla's lips were wet, and he longed to be devoured again. Danieru was trying to erase the awkward silence between him and Camilla. This time, he was the one at fault, and he wouldn't be angry.
Camilla's pupils dilated, she could see Danieru's eyes constantly staring at her lips. The woman pushed Danieru away from her.
“You said you really wanted to play, why are you refusing now?” Danieru asked.
Camilla grew increasingly irritated, glancing at Danieru sharply out of the corner of her eye.
“Female cat, are you upset because this elevator feels so slow?” Danieru asked.
Camilla smiled and then stomped her foot. The woman chuckled when she saw Danieru’s face; he was in pain, and she was still very much enjoying stepping on his foot.
It felt very awkward, but she didn’t want to dwell on the situation.
“A-ahh… Kitty, this hurts so much.” Danieru felt the pain in his right foot, wincing, holding back a scream.
"Your mind is always so dirty. I want to invite you to gamble tonight, not in bed."
Danieru was shocked by the woman's offer. He swallowed hard, forgetting the pain in his leg.
"Gambling?" Danieru asked. "Are you crazy?"
Camilla shook her head. She wasn't crazy; she was perfectly sane, and she had gambled in several famous casinos in America. The woman wanted him to accompany her because she had a very good plan.
"I'm not sure about you," Danieru said.
Camilla didn't care whether he was convinced or not; she was going to prove her worth.
Ting ...
The ding sounded quite loud, and the elevator carrying Camilla and Danieru opened.
Camilla quickly exited, smiling, leaving Danieru alone. He was sure tonight would be the best night ever, and he couldn't wait for it.
Danieru, still curious about Camilla's desires, quickly followed. He needed to know what she was thinking; he didn't care if he had to force her.
Danieru had just realized how cunning his wife was, and he had also just realized how eloquent she was, and how well she could speak, taking down opponents.
Oh God... he should have gotten to know her better. Should he hire a detective to investigate Camilla?
He had to...he had to do it. Camilla was no ordinary woman, and he was now dying of curiosity about his beautiful wife's thoughts.
"Kitty, what are you planning?" Danieru asked.
"You just have to follow along, don't argue too much."
Danieru didn't want to talk anymore; he ran, and then grabbed Camilla's hand.
"At least tell me what your goal is in gambling. Who are you going to play against?" Danieru asked.
Camilla smiled, then whispered, and quickly ended it. She kissed Danieru's cheek, and while he was off guard, she took another step.
"You're crazy, Kitty," Danieru muttered. The man quickly regained his composure, reacted, and followed Camilla, who had already entered their rented room.
"Are you sure you want to go there? Have you lost your mind?" Danieru asked. The man seemed to have forgotten what had happened just moments ago; now he had to stop Camilla completely.
"Trust me, I'm going to win tonight." Camilla lay on the bed, feeling like her life was truly wonderful right now.
Danieru, unwilling to accept Camilla's wishes, approached her, pinned her down, and held her hands to prevent her from struggling.
"Tell me, are you crazy?"
Camilla looked at him calmly. "I'm not crazy, trust me."
“Gambling, risking all the money you have, do you think you're the only one who will suffer if you lose?”
“Doggie, you don’t know me, and you don’t know how skilled I am in this field.”
“Camilla Alistair, I just don’t want you to dig your own grave.”
Camilla felt disappointed. Danieru should have trusted her, not like this. The woman didn’t answer; she closed her eyes and let him continue intimidating her.
“Camilla!” Danieru exclaimed.
“Are you my friend?” Camilla asked. The woman opened her eyes again and stared deeply at Danieru.
“I’m your friend, and I don’t want you to get yourself into trouble.”
“If you’re my friend, you should trust me.”
“Cam—”
“Enough! I’ll go alone, you don’t have to come. I’ll prove it,” Camilla said quickly.
“Stubborn.” Danieru glared at her, and the man quickly ended his actions and left the room.
He might be better off contemplating on the balcony; gazing at the view of Macau might calm his mind.
Camilla, who heard Danieru's words, smiled wryly. He is stubborn, and he will never become weak. He will still go. The presence, or absence of Danieru.
