~ It didn't make any sense.. It just didn't fucking add up to anything we knew before that. After Lana explained to me basically everything that she saw in that vision of the damn past or whatever, I couldn't come to my complete senses.. I was trying to figure out what kind of a sick game someone was trying to play with us, but I found no damn answer. How could a girl I randomly ran into in the middle of the fucking road be connected to the girl my brother was in love with? The worst part was, Lana wasn't any girl.. I firstly cared enough to make a deal with her, putting all my trust in her the same way she did with me.. It was still going on, even though we hooked up throughout the way.. But it whatever else it was, it would make more sense than that.. It was correct what Lana explained.. Yes, Jessica was Amelia's mother. And she insisted that she saw her father, Khal Morpher actually talk to her and call the baby Amelia.. "Are you sure?" I asked for at least the fourth time, but she just nodded her head, and observed my moves. I was leaning my elbows against my knees, and somewhat trying to sort things out. I clasped my hands together, before I took a hold of my head. "And Amelia saw this too?" The other night, when Calliope did the spell, she mentioned something about blood relatives. But was this really true? I mean, could a vision be a proof for something so damn big? I glanced at her, and she was just concentrated on the floor. "I think so.. She seemed as confused as me when the attackers came." I looked at her arm. When she mentioned that, the first thing that came to my mind wasn't who they were.. But it was her getting hurt. Bastards. "By the way, what was that about?" I still didn't know either. I spent the previous half an hour trying to figure out her descriptions about the vision. "I don't know," I exhaled a sharp breath before I stood up. "I don't know, Lana.. It happened all at the same time," She still had her legs crossed when I looked at her, her wavy hair somewhat put away from her face and her lower lip slightly trapped between her teeth. She looked at me for answers, but I couldn't give them to her. I was hearing this the first time, and I had no fucking idea about who the attackers were yet. "How are you holding up?" She looked on the side as she shifted, sitting on the edge of the bed and running her toes over the wooden floor, completely concentrated on that. I heard her release a deep breath before she started. "I don't know either.. I mean, I'm not even sure if it was only in my head, and if Amelia saw it too.. What if I'm wrong?" She looked up at me, "What if that's just my mind doing things.?" I remembered when Amelia was starting to see visions, and she still obviously was, but Lana was a werewolf.. She was maybe connected with Amelia through Morpher.. And the chances for that vision to be true were really small.. I saw that slight anxiety in her eyes again. She seemed to drift off every time she thought about it. "God, do you even know how many things this could mean, Christian?" The quickness in her words was becoming more and more noticeable with each second, and the panic in her eyes even more.. "It could mean that my father isn't actually my father, or that my mom isn't my mom," "Or that Amelia is just your father's lost daughter.." There were things from back at the war going through my head.. I was trying to concentrate, but all I could remember about those times was Zaria. And I spent years and years trying to erase her from my head. And my self-consciousness succeeded, but alongside that, I couldn't remember some other things from the war as well.. I mean, I was there just at the beginning. I left for Europe soon after that.. I became aware of my words when I looked back at her, and saw her eyes wide in not suck shock anymore, but a edge of anger. "Why wouldn't he tell me about something like that?!" She stood up, running her hands through her hair and passed beside me, walking towards the rest of her room. She walked in her closet dramatically and after a minute she walked out in an over sized shirt, that I'm pretty sure I gave to her, and a pair of black shorts that were only visible because the shirt was half in half out. She had a hair tie on her wrist before she started swaying her hair here and there, trying to take a hold of it and tie it. And then she continued the same way she stopped. "My family is a complete utter mess right now! I'm running away from them, I don't know who that man that I considered father even is anymore, and I have a whole damn pack behind my back right now because of some idiot I'm supposed to fricking marry!" She numbered while still holding her hair down, before she swayed it back up and took a hold of it. "I don't know what to do with myself anymore." She said more without yelling now, somewhat edging up each words she said. She put her hands on her hips, looked on the side before she looked back at me. "I need a drink." I barely heard her, and once I did I couldn't help the laugh that escaped my throat. She went from 100 to 0 within seconds and she made me go the same way with her actions and words. This girl was something else. I walked towards her, but she just pouted her lower lip slightly and crossed her arms over her chest. If anyone could take my mind off things, it was her. Rather it was arguing, or laughing or complaining, she did it.. No matter in what situation she was, she was just herself. Before I stopped in front of her, she added, "And food." I nodded my head in understanding, unable to again stop that laugh that seemed to escape me. "Okay, we'll get you that first, and then you can drink." She tightened her ponytail, and took a step closer. "Better now?" I pressed my hands on the sides of her arms, somewhat holing her in place. She had her arms back crossed as she didn't even try making out a smile. She just pressed her lips together and nodded her head. "Good, now let's go downstairs. I have to make sure if Amelia is alright." And with that, we left the room and walked down the stairs. Lana's ponytail bounced as she rushed quicker than me, but when she reached the entrance of the living room, she seemed a bit more careful. She slowed down before walking down the two little stairs and eyeing the room. It was enough for me to catch up to her, and see Calliope standing with her arms crossed, Amelia a few feet from her like she just walked in from the kitchen, and Dimitri still walking in from the kitchen. Calliope glanced at me and pressed her lips together before puffing a slow breath. "What's going on?" I asked, walking in deeper in the room. I glanced at Dimitri, but he was just as confused as me, looking at Calliope then Amelia with a frown on his face. "I think we just figured out why the attackers were here," I heard Calliope say before I noticed Lana kneeling a few feet away from me and picking something up. It seemed like something sparkly in her hand, very small, like a diamond. And before I could say anything, she looked at me, and answered for Calliope, somehow figuring out right away.. "They took the necklace."
