Falling For You In Freshman Year

Freshman year was supposed to be simple for Ava Carter. Study hard, keep her scholarship, avoid drama, and definitely avoid boys—especially the kind who leave a trail of broken hearts across campus. With her color-coded planner, early-morning classes, and strict personal rules, Ava plans to stay focused and invisible. But all of that goes downhill the moment she crashes—literally—into Jace Rivera, the infuriatingly handsome guy who thinks the world revolves around him. Jace is everything Ava can’t stand: cocky smile, effortless charm, and a reputation that makes most girls swoon and every guy want to be him. To Ava, he’s the walking definition of trouble. To Jace, she’s the first girl who’s ever dared to roll her eyes at him instead of melting. Their bickering becomes campus entertainment—sarcastic comments, stolen pens, arguing over the last good seat in lecture. They can’t stand each other… until suddenly, they can’t stay away. As study sessions turn into late-night conversations and accidental touches start meaning something, Ava finds herself falling for the one guy she swore she’d never look at twice. But just when she finally lets her guard down, she discovers the truth: Jace is the notorious playboy she’d been warned about all along. Heartbroken and furious, Ava pulls away—determined not to be another name on his long list. But Jace isn’t ready to let her go. For the first time in his life, he wants something real, and he’s willing to fight for it… even if he’s the last person she should trust. Freshman year comes with tests, textbooks, and unpredictable emotions—but for Ava and Jace, the hardest lesson of all might be learning how to fall in love.
