Meeting again

Rune swallowed; he tried to calm the sudden shock that had awakened in him. It was hard for him as his heart pounded. He needed help understanding why or how Leslie was there instead of Romina. It was definitely different than he expected. "Rune-"

"Why are you here?" Rune turned and sent a glare in Leslie's direction, but he swallowed as he scanned the woman's features. He couldn't believe his eyes when he saw how much more beautiful the woman had become in those months, but it was true. She seemed to have heated up since he last saw her. When Leslie made eye contact, he had to shift his gaze to the door.

“I should ask you the same thing, Rune.

Hearing her words, Rune immediately became angry and boldly looked at Leslie and asked her, “What are you asking me? Why am I in this place? The reason I am here is because Romina invited me. If you are the present, it would appear that I was but a pawn to you both."

"Why would you accept an invitation to go on a trip with Romina?"

“The same reason you asked her to extend me one.

"Rune, I'm not used to your tone with me..."

"And I'm not used to you showing up where you're not invited!" Rune shouted as he felt frustrated by Leslie's presence and Roma's betrayal.

Leslie stared at Rune, tilting her head to the side and asked, "You're not?"

Rune rolled his eyes as he realized that in the past Leslie always showed up at his house unannounced and uninvited. He took a deep breath. "Those were different times. You and I had a deal back then. I was your Sub then; I'm not anymore. So it makes me uncomfortable to see you here when I wasn't alerted to your presence beforehand. I was tricked into coming here and that's not cool ."

"Are you really uncomfortable with me being here?" Leslie asked, her eyes fixed on Rune.

Rune made a series of erratic gestures and then asked Leslie, "What do you think, Rune?! Based on our last exchange, you think I'd like to see you? Are you out of your mind?"

Leslie was ready to answer Rune when something caught her attention. This caused a change in her words and her focus and she said, "you're still wearing the bracelet."

Rune quickly put his hands behind his back, "none of your business."

"Why didn't you take it off?" Leslie asked as she stepped forward.

Rune stepped forward, "it has nothing to do with you."

Leslie chuckled, "Another please. It's all to do with me."

Rune took a few deep breaths to calm himself as his pulse quickened. "Leslie, please stop. Why did you do that? Why are you here?"

“I want us to talk.

"Seriously?" Rune folded his arms and rolled his eyes. "Talking about what and why in Mexico?"

Leslie maneuvered until she was in front of Rune. With his back pressed against the railing and nowhere else to go, Rune was forced to stand there and focus on calming his thoughts. "You didn't want to talk to me in London-"

"Why on earth would I want to talk to you? After all, you've already done it, do you really believe I'd want to talk to you? Because I used a safe word, you tossed me aside like I was nothing." and then you went ahead and did whatever you wanted, even getting me banned from that site!"
