Chapter 80 Kidnapped
Genesis's POV:
Early the next morning, I got up and packed my bag, planning to go straight from the hospital to school.
Before leaving, Eli called out to me.
"It's not convenient to get to school from here. Let Walker drive you." Eli no longer needed the wheelchair, wearing a black silk shirt that showed his perfect body lines.
If he didn't need to finish some final checkups, he would have driven me there himself.
I didn't refuse Eli's kindness and nodded.
Eli walked two steps toward me, a gentle smile on his face, helping me adjust my blouse collar.
"I booked MOON restaurant. I'll give you a surprise tonight." Eli's fingers traced my face as he spoke mysteriously.
I looked at him with some surprise. MOON restaurant was famously hard to book. Even Eli must have put in considerable effort to get a reservation.
He seemed really looking forward to this dinner date.
Somehow, I was infected by his mood and began anticipating tonight's date.
I'd heard from classmates who'd been to MOON restaurant that their cheese pudding was especially delicious. I definitely had to try it tonight.
I looked into Eli's gray-blue eyes. [Okay.]
"Don't worry, you'll definitely love this surprise."
Something I'd love? That would be getting away from Eli. Nothing else could make me happier than that.
As soon as I arrived at school, I saw Forth.
Forth seemed to have been waiting for a while. Seeing me walk into school, he immediately smiled and came over.
"You're finally here!" Forth looked somewhat nervous. "You can't bring water bottles into the exam later. Do you want to drink some water first?"
No water bottles allowed?
I was surprised why the school suddenly had this rule, but thinking it might have been added during my absence, I took the bottle from Forth's hand.
After I drank some, Forth's face showed a smile as he walked with me toward the classroom.
Along the way, Forth seemed particularly nervous, his gaze constantly falling on my face.
I asked in confusion. [Did something happen?]
After signing, I suddenly noticed something was wrong. My head began to feel dizzy.
The teacher in the classroom saw this and immediately came out. "Is Genesis feeling unwell?"
"She seems to be." Forth timely supported me. "Let me take her to the nurse's office."
The teacher didn't suspect anything and nodded, letting Forth help me leave.
Forth supported me as we walked out, going more and more off course, actually walking straight to the back door.
I immediately realized what was happening and tried hard to push him away. [What are you trying to do?]
"Don't worry, I'm not trying to hurt you!" Seeing me resist, Forth supported me with one hand and raised the other. "I know you're being forcibly imprisoned by Eli. I'm here to rescue you!"
My vision was gradually becoming unfocused, my whole body dizzy as if floating in mid-air, but I still felt something was wrong.
[How are you taking me away?] I struggled to type on my phone.
Forth's gaze had already turned toward the door. "It's Eli's fiancée Delilah. She promised to help us leave and send us to Verenburg!"
Delilah!
Hearing that name, my mind cleared for a moment.
I didn't believe she would be so kind as to send me away. She would only want to kill me!
[Don't trust her! Delilah is not a good person!] I was so dizzy I could barely hold my phone, only managing to type these words through willpower.
But Forth looked at me with pity. "I know you've been brainwashed by Eli. Don't worry, I'll definitely help you."
After saying that, I felt myself being picked up and stuffed into a car.
My head felt even dizzier.
Hazily, I seemed to see Delilah sitting in the car, looking at me with a cold smile.
I was shocked, then completely passed out.
Forth's POV:
I carefully protected Genesis, not letting her head hit the car door.
Watching the school gradually disappear in the distance, my heart completely relaxed.
We finally escaped!
As long as we escaped to Verenburg, Genesis and I could live a simple, happy life! Even if she ultimately still wouldn't accept me, being able to rescue her from Eli's clutches was already a huge success!
I smiled with joy and sincerely thanked Delilah.
"Thank you, Delilah! If it weren't for you..."
Delilah, who had always appeared gentle in front of me, clicked her tongue irritably. "So noisy! Shut up."
I looked at her in bewilderment. Only then did I notice the scenery outside the window looked somewhat wrong.
"This road doesn't go to the airport!" I frowned and questioned Delilah.
Delilah casually explained, "Going through the airport would be discovered by Eli. We're going to my farm now. My private jet is there."
Seeing Delilah's dismissive attitude, unease rose in my heart. But when my fingers touched the documents she had given me, I relaxed again.
No, she shouldn't be lying to me.
Our car stopped in front of a remote farm where there was no plane at all.
"What do you want by bringing us here!" I stared at Delilah warily.
Delilah mockingly cursed, "Idiot."
She didn't even bother to look at me, gesturing to her subordinates behind her.
Several subordinates rushed over. I desperately blocked Genesis, regretting to the extreme!
Genesis had already warned me that Delilah wasn't a good person, yet I still believed Delilah's lies, thinking she genuinely wanted to help us!
How could I be so stupid!
Although I tried my best to stop them, how could I be a match for the mafia?
They dragged me aside like a dead dog and kicked my abdomen hard several times!
The intense pain made me curl up. I desperately grabbed their pant legs, not letting them touch Genesis.
I took several more punches and collapsed on the ground gasping, still struggling to move.
A high heel appeared in front of me. Delilah mockingly crouched down and grabbed my face.
"The boy's quite devoted? Too bad he's just too stupid." Her heel mercilessly stepped on my palm. I immediately let out a scream. "I can't wait to kill that bitch Genesis. How could I possibly send you out of the country? I want that bitch dead!"
"No!"
I still tried to stop Delilah, but she looked at me with disgust and kicked me away.
I could only watch helplessly as those subordinates took Genesis into the farm.
