Chapter 53 Missed Her Sweetness
Genesis's POV:
I got up early this morning, deliberately starting to prepare cupcakes while everyone was away.
Susan came to help me, whipping cream while asking.
"Today's your first day back to school after being discharged, right? Are these for your classmates?"
I shook my head and explained to her: "These are for the person who saved me. My classmate Forth, you've met him."
I really couldn't think of anything better to give, so I could only follow Ethan's suggestion and make desserts myself.
Susan sighed. "You're such a good kid. That guy called Forth really cares about you, Genesis. I think he's a good person, and he likes you. You should have a relationship. You're about to graduate high school."
I immediately shook my head. "Forth and I are impossible! He just sees me as a friend."
Susan bumped my shoulder. "Don't lie to me! I've been in love before! He definitely has feelings for you! Football team captain! Amazing body! All muscle! Genesis, if he's your first man, you'd be so lucky! He'll make you feel amazing in bed! That feeling..."
My ears turned red listening to this. I don't know why, but I thought of Eli. That night before he left, to keep him from supervising the loading, I seduced him!

Susan pushed me, interrupting my imagination!

When Ethan came in, he saw me putting these cupcakes into a bag. He looked very happy.
I gave him a cupcake, but he refused to eat it.

"Oh! Are you two exchanging love tokens?" Many classmates saw this scene and gathered around. I quickly shook my head and distributed the remaining cakes to them.
I made cakes just to thank Forth. I didn't want to cause any more misunderstandings.
Forth obviously remembered the failed confession, awkwardly denying. "No, no! There's nothing between us! Stop talking nonsense."
Eli's POV:
On the way back, I received a message from Ethan.
"Genesis is making cupcakes for you. They look delicious."
Along with the text message, several photos of her came through.
In the sunlight, Genesis had her hair up, concentrating on making cakes. She even had a smile on her face, looking like a little angel!
I'd been worried that bastard Lennon would leave her with psychological trauma. Now it seemed like she was fine, and I finally breathed a sigh of relief.
Looking at her peaceful appearance, my heart heated up. I wished I could fly to her side right now!
This cooperation with the Smith family went very smoothly. I could break off my engagement with Delilah soon!
I looked at the flight schedule anxiously. I wouldn't get home until tomorrow afternoon!

I looked at her coldly. "Really? You personally handed that aphrodisiac to Lennon. You didn't know?"
Delilah's face immediately showed panic, shaking her head repeatedly. "I, I just wanted to help them. It was for fun. And Genesis was willing at the time. She ate it herself!"
Bullshit! That little mute would blush from just a kiss! She would willingly eat that stuff?
"Fuck your fun." I really didn't want to deal with this woman anymore. "In a couple days, I'm going to the Nelson family to break off our engagement."
"No!"
Delilah got excited when she heard about breaking off the engagement. "No! You can't! You can't break off the engagement!"
I didn't want to deal with her at all. I pushed her away and walked outside.
She pulled out a gun from somewhere and pressed it to her temple.
She cried and shouted. "If you dare break off the engagement, I'll kill myself! I love you so much, how can you break off the engagement!"
She'd used this trick many times before. Each time I reluctantly accepted it for the sake of our families' cooperation, but this time I was really too lazy to humor her.
I sneered and turned my head. "Go ahead and die then."
I turned and left. Behind me came Delilah's hysterical screaming and chaotic gunshots.
I didn't even need to look back to know Delilah definitely didn't shoot herself. She was destroying airport facilities.
That's how she was. She only threatened people but was reluctant to die!
Just like she didn't really love me. She just wanted to control me! Because I was different from all her previous men. I didn't listen to her!
This crazy woman was really too annoying.
After returning home, I immediately hid in Genesis's room.
Last time I couldn't surprise her. This time I must hold her tight and kiss her madly.
After not seeing her for so long, I damn well missed her sweetness.
