Chapter 103.

**Benjamin's POV.**

"I need to make a call." I told them and got up to call Nicholas. I just have to swallow my pride and ask Nicholas to look after Sofia. It can't be that hard to be nice to someone for a few minutes anyway.

"I'm not giving a statement." He shouted as soon as he answered.

"It's Benjamin, you fool." I quickly said before he hung up.

"I thought it was those stupid journalist. Anyways where did you get my number?" Nicholas asked.

"Don't act like you----Damien gave it to me yesterday." I took a deep breath calming myself down. I swear he didn't change a bit since he left after his grandfathers death.

"I asked him for your number years ago but you didn't want to talk to me or meet me, so what changed?" He asked.

"I heard you the king of France."

"And I heard you the king of America." He laughed. "Who is in Paris that you want now Ben?" He questioned.

"My wife." I started. "I need you to look after them for a short while." I continued. "I don't trust guys like you who lives in Paris so please make sure no one asks her out or even compliments her and if you see anyone that looks her way, tell me."

"Wow." Nicholas started laughing. "Your ex-wife must've really gave you love portion for you to act like that. But anyways you always had my back and I will too. I'll find her for you and look after her."

"Thanks." I replied.

"You know there's so many beautiful ladies in America, especially New York. I met a women at the airplane, she was beautiful even though she was annoying. She has kids but she's single so give me some advice little bro, should I ask her out before someone beats me to it?" Nicholas asked.

"I'm only a year younger than you so stop thinking you older than me Nick. And yeah, trust me you'll regret it if you don't ask her now." I guess asking Sofia to marry me was the best thing I ever did. "Nick if she ever says yes to the date make sure you never lie to her because trust me, the truth will always come out."

"I kinda needed to hear that but Ben, I'm sure if you loved this women this much she will come back to you no matter what. Till next time, I have to go talk to her now."Nicholas hang up the phone before I could even tell him Sofia's name.

He really hasn't changed a bit since high school.

"Miss me?" I recognized the voice quickly turned to look at where it was coming from.

"What the hell you doing in New York Lisa?" I asked. I can't believe she has two son's now.

"You can never change Benjamin." She replied. "I miss you and you never once visited the kids. So where's Elijah?"

"I have a daughter too but they both with their mother in Paris." I uttered picking her two year old son. "He is the heir right?" I asked.

"Yep. I bet you don't even know his name unlike me who knows both your children's name." She rolled her eyes at me.

"You didn't even know I have a daughter." I mumbled.

"At least I know her name, Emily Carson black. How can I forget the name you loved so much. Anyways I came to New York for new beginnings, but I'm still married. And I thought I would look for my----."

"If it's not the bitch Lisa Russo who was left at the alter." Damien said interrupting us.

"I didn't know this asshole was here." She smacked him and afterwards hugged him. "I miss you so much and you didn't visit even though you were in Paris."

"Sorry but trust me if I came visiting and brought Elijah with, your kid would be dead." Damien acted angry and I actually always believed they would end up together. "But unlike Ben I know the children's names. Luca and Damien right?" He asked and we all started laughing.

"Name your kids after yourself Damien. But honestly it's Luca L because of my name and Nathan, N because of his father." She said handing Nathan to Damien. "Your cousin has a heart condition so you going to be the one that carries me on his back for payback and by the way you both lucky I didn't bring the stuff you two were scared off." I looked at her from top to bottom.

"We not kids anymore Lisa, we not scared and anyways I love you Lisa but I'm already heartbroken. I'll carry your son, but I will carry you before you go back to Paris for your business, deal." She rolled her eyes. And we all walked to Jay's house.

I'll always love you Sofia. Always! Goodbye for now my love! Take care of our kids for me my love!

Sofia's POV.

"Yes Anna, thanks." I quickly hang up the call because I heard a knock on the door and I quickly attended to it. I can't wait to move to the house Anna bought for us but of course I'll pay her back when I start working.

"What the hell do you want?" I asked Nick who was smiling. "How did you even find which hotel I live in?" It's been two weeks and his always been so fucking annoying, he even got my number and I don't even know where.

"You going to have to look for a house soon if that's how you going to speak to the hotel owner." He smiled letting himself in. "Elijah, I brought you food." He shouted and Elijah ran to him.

"Nick you can't just come in here just because it's your hotel." I shouted and Emily woke up. I swear it's difficult to be a single parent, I miss Benjamin so much.

"I spoke to my heartbroken friend and he gave me some advice so how about we go on a date, first as friends." Nick said and I started laughing.

"I'm mourning for my husband and you asking me to go on a date with you. Is that what you guys do? Take advantage of broken women's. Get the hell out." I shouted as tears started to stream down my face. Is this how all man really are?

"I didn't mean--."

"Just get out Nick, please." I shouted interrupting him and he walked to me.

"I'm sorry about your husband but I'm sure he would've wanted you to move on. I came to tell you something else too. I have another job available but you going to have to apply to get accepted." He left and I ran to the room and started crying.

Why me Benjamin? Why can't you just let me live? Why can't I just forget about you and hate you. Why do I have to love you so much when you always have to hide things from me. I wish my feelings for you could die but no matter what I do, I can't hate you.

"Mommy, Emily is hungry." Elijah said and I quickly got up wiping my tears. At least my son cares about someone else expect himself.

Benjamin Carson Black. The guy I love and will always love no matter what he does to me. I thought after Carlene we would live happily ever after, but fairy tales don't exists especially when you in love with a man like Benjamin. Someone who can have any girl he wants, he was never mine that's why maybe he never thought of telling me anything but I guess in the end we were never meant to be. I may love him but life goes on. Falling for a billionaire might sound a dream come true but in my case it ended up in a nightmare.

I started feeding Emily and she was actually easier to raise than Elijah. I love both my children so much but I'm scared Elijah might turn out to be like his father. I put Emily on the bed because she fell asleep on me and I quickly started feeding Elijah after all his always jealous of Emily.

"Mommy when is daddy going to come?" Elijah asked.

"He will come on your birthday with a big surprise now please just watch TV." I begged him and he nod his head.

I wish Benjamin could change just a little. I never cared about the fact he was always rude, arrogant and everything else but I just wish he wasn't a good liar. Charlotte told me he hardly lies about anything that's why he is always in trouble but I guess she was wrong. He broke my hurt a million times because of his lies but at least now I know better. The day I met him - I thought that would be the day I stop feeling pain and get the love I always wanted. All I ever wanted was to be loved but I guess not everyone get what they always want.

I'll always love you Benjamin but we can never be together so I guess this is my way of saying goodbye.
