Chapter 110 Beg
Chapter 110 Beg
BIANCA'S POINT OF VIEW
I couldn't breathe.....Everything around me was a mess.
My books were scattered across the floor. Clothes were thrown everywhere. One of my drawers had been pulled open so violently that some of its contents were hanging halfway out.
And the mirror.....I stared at the broken pieces scattered across the floor.I had smashed it.
I didn't even remember doing it.All I remembered was seeing my reflection after getting home, and suddenly feeling so angry that I couldn't stand looking at myself anymore.
I sank onto the edge of my bed and buried my face in my hands.I was crying so hard my entire body shook.
“Bianca, please.”Mom sat beside me and gently rubbed my back.
“Please, just calm down.”
“Don't tell me to calm down!”I pushed her hand away.
“Don't tell me to calm down, Mom!”My voice cracked.
“How could you guys let them expel me?”Mom sighed.
“We tried, Bianca.”
“No, you didn't!”
“We were there. We begged them to reconsider.”
“Then you should have begged harder!”I wiped my face angrily.
“What am I supposed to do after being expelled? What am I supposed to tell everyone?”Mom reached for me again.
“I'm sorry.”
“Don't tell me you're sorry!”I turned toward her.
“Do something!”My voice echoed through the room.
“I can't stop going to West Bridge High! It's my final year!”I grabbed my hair and began crying again.
“How could you let them do this to me? How could you just sit there while they told me I was expelled?”
“Bianca…”
“I can't leave that school!”I shook my head repeatedly.
“I can't!”Mom looked helpless.
“We really did everything we could.”I stared at her through my tears.
“Then do something else.”My voice became quieter.
“Please, Mom.”I grabbed her hand.
“Please.”She squeezed my fingers.
“We'll figure something out.”
“You promise?”
“I'll talk to your father again.”Just then, the bedroom door opened.
Dad walked in.His expression was tired and stern.
He looked around the destroyed room before his eyes landed on me.
“Is she still crying?”Mom immediately stood.
“Yes.”She looked relieved to see him.
“Thank God you're here.”I jumped off the bed.
“Dad!”I rushed toward him.
“Please!”I grabbed his hand.
“You have to do something.”He looked down at me.
“Bianca......”
“You have to make them take me back!”I was crying again.
“I don't care how you do it. Talk to the principal. Talk to whoever you have to talk to. Please make them reverse the expulsion!”Dad's expression hardened.
“Bianca, I already told you.......”
“I can't leave West Bridge High!”I held onto his arm.
“What am I going to tell people?”I shook my head.
“Everyone is going to know I was expelled.”Dad sighed.
“Bianca, you brought this upon yourself.”
“I know!”I immediately nodded.
“I know I messed up, but please, Dad. Please help me.”I lowered myself to the floor, grabbing his legs.
“Please.”Dad looked shocked.
“Get up.”
“Please!”
“Bianca, get up.”
“I'll never do anything like that again!”My voice trembled.
“I promise. I swear I'll change. I'll do whatever you want. Just please don't let me leave that school.”Dad pulled me gently to my feet.
“How could you do something like that?”I looked down.
“How could you go to that girl's house and humiliate her?”I swallowed.
“And her mother too?”He shook his head.
“Do you have any idea how serious what you did was?”
"You could have been arrested for that"
“I'm sorry.”
“Don't tell me you're sorry.”His voice was firm.
“I'm disappointed in you.”I started crying again.
“But you're also in your final year.”He sighed.
“And I don't think being expelled at this point is the best thing for your education either.”My eyes immediately lifted.
“So you'll help me?”
“I said I'll see what I can do.”
“Please, Dad.”He pointed toward the destroyed room.
“But understand something. If this doesn't work, you're going to your grandmother's house in Spain.”My eyes widened.
“No!”I immediately shook my head.
“Dad, please!”
“You'll finish your final year there.”
“I don't want to go to Spain!”
“You should have thought about that before you did what you did.”
“Please!”I grabbed his arm again.
“I'll behave. I promise.”Dad stared at me.
“You weren't thinking?”I froze.
“Did you just say you weren't thinking?”I didn't answer.
“Since when did you become a bully, Bianca?”My lips trembled.
“Since when did you start feeding on someone else's pain?”I looked away.
“I'm disappointed in you.”
“I'm sorry, Dad.”
“I don't want another apology.”He rubbed his forehead.
“I want you to understand the consequences of your actions.”I nodded quickly.
“I understand.”
“Good.”
“But please…”I looked up at him.
“You have to help me.”My voice broke again.
“I can't leave West Bridge.”Mom came closer.
“Bianca, your father said he'll try.”
“Please, Dad.”I held onto his hand.
“You're his friend. You and the governor are close. Please talk to him.”Dad was quiet for a moment then he sighed.
“Yes.”I immediately looked up.
“But there's something you need to understand.”
“What?”
“You wouldn't have been expelled if the governor actually owned the school.”I frowned.
“What do you mean?”Dad looked at Mom before turning back to me.
“The school isn't actually his.”I stared at him.
“What?”
“The governor's name may be attached to it publicly, but the real owner is someone else.”My heart began beating faster.
“Who?”Dad paused.
“Andy.”I blinked.
“Andy?”
“Yes.”I stared at him.
“I don't understand.”
“Andy owns West Bridge High.”My mouth fell open.
“What?”
“I investigated further after the expulsion and asked the governor....He confirmed it's true”Dad's expression was serious.
“It turns out Andy is the one who demanded that you, Blair, and Claire be expelled.”The room seemed to spin.
“No.”I shook my head.
“No, that's not possible.”
“It is.”
“Andy?”
“Yes.”I stared at him in disbelief.
“He did this?”
“From everything I've found out, yes.”My hands began trembling.
I thought about Andy. His face,His cold expression,The way he had looked at me.The way he had never seemed particularly interested in me before.
And now I knew why the school had been so quick to expel us.It wasn't the principal......It was Andy.
“He…”My voice barely came out.
“He actually did this?”Dad nodded.
“And that's why I'm telling you that if you really want to return to West Bridge, you need to start thinking about talking to Andy.”I stared at him.
“Talk to Andy?”
“Yes.”
“You want me to beg him?”
“I want you to apologize.”Dad's expression hardened.
“Whether you like it or not, he appears to have the final say in this matter.”I swallowed.
“But you're still going to talk to the governor?”
“Of course.”He sighed.
“I'll speak to him and see what I can do. But from what I saw today, your principal wasn't making that decision independently.”
“What do you mean?”
“She already seemed to have received instructions.”My heart sank.
“So…”Dad looked at me.
“If Andy doesn't change his mind, I don't know what else I can do.”I shook my head.
“No.”
“Bianca......”
“I can't go to Spain.”I started crying again.
“I can't.”Dad sighed.
“You need to prepare yourself for that possibility.”
“No!”I stumbled backward.
“Dad, please!”I covered my face.
“Please don't send me away.”Mom immediately came toward me.
“Bianca…”
“I don't want to leave.”My voice broke.
“I just want to go back to school.”Dad watched me silently then he said quietly,
“Then you know what you have to do.”I slowly lowered my hands.
“Talk to Andy.”He nodded.
“Yes.”I stared at the floor.
For the first time since I heard the word expelled, I realized something.Getti
ng back into West Bridge wasn't going to be about my father. It wasn't going to be about his friendship with the governor.
It wasn't even going to be about my mother's begging....It was about Andy and somehow, I had to convince the boy who had thrown me out of his school to let me back in.
