Chapter 60 Ms. Winston Being Looked Down upon by Others
Elena was a bit puzzled, "I am..."
"That's great! Can I take a photo with this signed photo?" The receptionist held the signed photo lovingly.
"I can give it to you as a gift."
The receptionist instantly became overjoyed.
"I'll contact Rastlin for you right away."
As soon as the receptionist raised her phone, her arm froze in mid-air.
"I already said it, don't bring these rubbish collaborations to me for review anymore. Rastlin is busy and so am I. He doesn't have time to advertise for these unknown small brands."
A woman's voice was loud. Elena couldn't help but look over in that direction.
Beside that woman stood a small assistant, constantly nodding and bowing beside her.
"That's Rastlin's agent," the receptionist said.
Elena recalled for a moment before suddenly realizing that this was the same woman who had been rejecting her collaborations.
Elena bent down to pick up her clothes and held them in her hand.
"Alright, thank you."
"You're welcome! If you have any news about Keith, we can exchange more information."
Elena had long legs, and she walked a few steps to stand in front of the loud woman.
Amy Pelosi almost fell. She looked up in anger, staring at Elena who was half a head taller than her.
"Who are you? Don't you understand the rules? Don't you know how to make way?"
"Ms. Pelosi, sorry for the disturbance. I am a representative from the design department of the Simpleton brand, and I would like to find Rastlin to endorse our clothing."
Although Elena came to seek cooperation, her tone was not humble.
Amy waved her hand dismissively, "What small brand? And they want to cooperate with Rastlin? Please leave, don't waste my time."
"What are you looking at? Why don't you hurry and kick this person out?"
Amy angrily glared at her own assistant.
Elena remained calm and composed despite being told to leave.
"Doesn't Ms. Pelosi consult with Rastlin before making decisions like this? Isn't it inappropriate to make decisions on behalf of Rastlin without consulting?"
Amy was clearly becoming impatient.
"What's wrong with you? Don't you understand what I'm saying? Small brands like yours still dream of cooperating with Rastlin? Can you afford to have Rastlin endorse your brand?"
Amy's words were becoming more sarcastic. It was obvious that she looked down on Elena.
"Oh, by the way..." Amy suddenly realized, "You're the one who has been sending me collaboration invitations."
Amy took the collaboration invitation from her assistant and threw it on the ground, "We don't accept this kind of collaboration!"
Elena narrowed her eyes, her expression becoming cold.
Her voice was no longer as gentle as before, "Ms. Pelosi, isn't that statement a bit too much? Simpleton may be a newly established brand, but we have funding and connections. Our development will go smoothly."
"Small brands always try to deceive me. I've heard enough of this kind of talk."
Amy still had a disdainful expression on her face.
It seemed that the rumors outside were true, the agents here were very arrogant.
But Elena would not tolerate her behavior.
"Ms. Pelosi, you have misunderstood, I'm not here to deceive you."
Elena sneered, about to retort, but was interrupted by hurried footsteps.
"Ms. Pelosi, what's going on?" Rastlin had not yet removed his makeup, indicating that he had just finished a scene.
"A small brand wants to collaborate with us. It's okay, you go back and prepare for the next scene."
Amy's attitude instantly improved when she saw Rastlin.
Rastlin nodded. When he turned his head and met Elena's gaze, his handsome face instantly froze.
"El...Elena..."
The name slipped out of his mouth.
Elena was a bit surprised. Was she really that famous?
Did even the big stars recognize her?
Amy was also puzzled, "Do you know her?"
Rastlin realized that he had just lost control, "I know her. She is the new CEO of the Winston Group."
He pursed his lips and explained briefly.
But in reality, he investigated Elena because of that day at the movie theater...
He heard someone call out the name Elena.
"The Winston Group..." Amy murmured, seeming to understand something.
The Winston Group was a force to be reckoned with in Sunnia.
"Are you... are you the president of The Winston Group?" Amy asked incredulously.
Everyone knew that The Winston Group had a new president, but no one expected it to be such a young woman.
"Yes," Elena admitted confidently.
"So, the project you mentioned earlier."
"It's a new brand developed by The Winston Group," Elena smiled slightly, narrowing her eyes.
Amy's face turned pale instantly. Did she just offend The Winston Group?
"Did Amy just misspeak? Ms. Winston, please don't mind her," Rastlin felt that something was off and quickly apologized.
Elena chuckled, "Everything that just happened was captured by the surveillance cameras. And well... I'm a petty person who seeks revenge."
Elena glanced casually at Amy, causing her whole body to shiver. Why did this woman's gaze feel so terrifying?
She was just a young girl in her early twenties, yet her presence was as strong as anyone else's.
Amy couldn't help but tremble. Adults always had to pay the price for their ignorance.
But for now, she had a collaboration to discuss. Elena temporarily put Amy aside.
"Rastlin, a clothing brand wants to collaborate with you. Do you have time for it?"
"Yes!" Rastlin answered directly.
Amy frowned, dissatisfied with her artist's hasty response.
Elena was slightly surprised. This wasn't what she had imagined.
She had read a lot of news about Rastlin and knew he was usually cold and arrogant. Could the rumors be wrong?
"These are the sample clothes I brought. You can see if they fit you. If you don't like the style, we can customize the design for you," Elena valued this collaboration, so she tried to meet any of Rastlin's requirements.
Rastlin took the clothes, his fingers almost touching Elena's hand.
However, the moment Elena handed over the clothes, she quickly withdrew her hand.
Rastlin lowered his head, slightly disappointed. But he quickly suppressed his emotions.
"Okay, I have time this month. I can give it a try. Will you be there to direct it?" Rastlin asked with anticipation.
Elena felt puzzled. She sensed that something was off with Rastlin, but it wasn't so obvious.
