Chapter 32-2
His eyes lock with mine and he grits his teeth, "Hayden...I love you." I nod, my brain too frazzled by our intense love making to even form a coherent sentence. I didn't need to say it back, he knew it, he felt it. Hell, ever since we got back to the hotel I had been showing him just how much I loved him. We had left straight after we had our pictures taken. It was also during the pictures that we decided to let everyone know we were getting back together. My mom was so happy that she honestly starting clapping like I had won an award or something. But in away, and as fucking cheesy as it sounds, I did win an award. I bite my lip, trying not to sound too loud, as a moan is drawn from the back of my throat. It's suddenly cut off as Chase swoops down and connects our mouths. Our tongues explore each other sloppily and I take a hold of his jaw to keep him steady since we were moving so much. We find release together a few moments later. I moan deeply into his mouth as I'm tipped over the edge, feeling the most beautiful ecstasy imaginable. Chase collapses on top of me, breathing heavily as his face tucks into the crook of my neck. * I chuckle and wrap my hand around the back of his neck and kiss the top of his head. We lie like that for a while, our bodies still conjoined and just enjoying each other's rapid heartbeats. The hotel room was quiet and the only light was from the bedside lamp. It created a beautiful golden glow across the room. Chase, being the prepared yet extremely horny person he is, had booked a seperate hotel room at the other end of the floor. It was quite romantic when he led me in here because I was still shocked that he had somehow afforded one of the rooms. I mean sure, he worked for a multi-million architecture firm but he was technically still an intern. After we took the photos, I didn't see Emily for the rest of the evening. I assumed she had left because Chase saw her parents but never saw her. I took off those godforsaken heels sometime later and spent the rest of the evening dancing barefoot with Chase. I didn't give a shit about my shoes because by that point I was more than a little tipsy. Eventually, he rolls off me and lies down next to me. We were too eager to rip each others clothes off that we had forgotten about a condom in the hasty process. But I was on birth-control and I knew I wouldn't start ovulating for at least another week. I don't want to get pregnant right now but if I did happen too, it wouldn't be the end of the world. I mean, I have on year of college left, I have a well-paying job and I have the love of my life with me. "What are you thinking about?" Chase questions as he kisses my shoulder while lying on his stomach beside me. My gaze drifts from the ceiling to him and I smile softly. "Nothing." I shake my head as I reach up and caress his cheek, "I'm so happy." "You make me happy." Chase smiles softly at me and he leans forward to kiss me but suddenly the door to the hotel room is opened and I scream in fright while flailing off the edge of the bed. Luckily, it was carpet and I hit the floor with a dull thud. "You guys didn't even shut the door proper—" Spencer pauses in the middle of the room as he stares at a now standing Chase. His eyes trail down his body and widen significantly, "Whoa, now I see why my dear cousin is crazy about you." Chase awkwardly covers himself with his hand. My cousin chuckles while staring at Chase's nether regions as if in a trance, "I think you're going too need both hands, buddy." "Spencer!" I groan while now sitting on the ground, clutching a pillow to my chest, "What the hell are you doing?" "Oh right." Spencer says as if suddenly remembering as he turns to me, his eyes lingering on Chase's hands, "Xavier's on the phone with David. He's been trying to call you all evening but now I understand why he couldn't reach you." My eyes widen and I repeat, "Xavier?" "Yup and the tea is scolding." Spencer explains as he turns and heads for the door, "Get dressed and come to your mother's room. But not you Chase, come as you are." Spencer gives a cheeky wink to my boyfriend before sauntering out of the room and this time closing the door properly. I was slightly embarrassed the the door wasn't shut and wondering what poor souls passed and were able to hear us. I throw the pillow down and stand up. Chase gives me a soft, sympathetic look from the other side of the room, "Hayden—" "Let's just get changed, Everett." I breath out as he nods and starts digging into his suitcase. He hands me a pair of his grey sweatpants and a shirt. I quickly change into the pieces of clothing. I roll the waistband and the legs of the sweatpants and tuck in the front of the large oversized shirt. Chase quickly changes before the both of us leave the hotel room and head to the other side of the large building and knock on the door of my mother's suite. It opens and Mom instantly wraps her arms around me. "Whatever Xavier says, we're all here with you." Mom whispers into me as she pulls back with a sad smile. I follow her into the large suite to see everyone was already here. The phone was on the coffee table and everyone was surrounding it. "Xavier, she's here." David explains into the phone, looking equally as worried as everyone else in the room. They looked at me with such sadness and pity and I didn't like it. Vera and Michael sat on the bed together. Noah and Penn were seated on the floor by the coffee table while Levi and Hayley stood cuddled up with each other by the large window.
