Chapter 162: Good deal?

Chapter 162: Good deal?
Third person

Valerie woke up to a wet sensation on her clit. A shiver coursed through her spine, her nipples hardening.

The sensation continued, and she was forced to open her eyes. She wiped her heavy eyes with the back of her palm and then looked down between her legs, where the source of the heat she was feeling came from.

Lucas, with his head between her thighs, looked up, his tongue still whipping her sensitive clit. “Morning, babe,” he murmured.

Valerie blinked a couple of times to clear her eyes. She arched her back and she cried out in pleasure when he slipped a finger inside her. “W-what are you doing?” She managed to ask between moans.

He smiled and looked up at her again, with those dark, desire-filled eyes.

Her cheeks flushed as she noticed her pussy juice rubbed all over his mouth and its surroundings. “I've always dreamed of waking you up like this,” she murmured, his voice rough.

Lucas slipped another finger in her and began pumping, his tongue returning to her clit. He paused and looked up again. “Do you like it?”

“Y-yes,” she shuddered. Then her face twisted into a scowl, the intense pleasure suddenly numb and she felt a wave of nausea. She could feel it… The way her stomach twisted and pushed her food forward towards her throat.

Immediately, she jumped up and rushed to the bathroom. Lucas followed. He patted her back as she threw up into the bowl.

He rinsed her face and flushed before taking her back to the room.

A big grin plastered on her face as she plopped down on the bed with Lucas. She didn't want them to dwell on the fact that she'd just thrown up, she didn't want to ruin the atmosphere. “Let's continue,” she blushed, trying to revive the steamy atmosphere.

Without waiting for him to respond, Val reached for his pants and stroked his hard dick through his trousers.

Lucas groaned at her touch, but he held her hand. “You're unwell.”

For the past few days, she'd been able to successfully hide the way she was feeling from him. She was going to get checked anyway, though there were some ideas at the back of her mind because she thinks that she has experienced this before.

Nevertheless, she was going to get checked. There has just been so much going on for her—cleaning Adam's mess at work and putting these bad people behind bars.

She shook her head. “I'm fine, I promise. I just—”

“Babe,” he cut in, his gentle tone was very calming. He stroked her hair and then kissed her forehead so tenderly. “You have to check yourself, okay? Do you want me to call the doctor here instead?”

Val hated the fact that she didn't find the urge to protest. His calm voice had her obeying. She groaned and kicked her feet in the air. “Fine. I'll just go to the hospital after I stop at the prison.”

The officer at the prison had texted her last night, informing her that Karen finally confessed to her parents' crime. Val had already planned to head there first thing this morning.

“I'm fine seriously; it won't take long,” she added in a rush. “I just want to see Karen. I'll head over to the hospital immediately after that.” Then she pouted and flashed him her cute puppy eyes.

He sighed in defeat. It was extremely hard to say no to her. “Fine. I'll meet you at the hospital.” He stroked her hair again and kissed it.

“Yayy,” she rejoiced. But her smile faded and was replaced by a frown when he stood up. “Where are you going? No more dick for me?” Her cheeks flushed at the realization of how comfortable she was with him. When did she become this vulgar?

His eyes raked her body briefly, and he swallowed hard, an attempt to suppress his arousal. “Once you’re a good girl, see the doctor, and we know you’re okay.”

“Ugh, that's not fair,” she groaned with a pout.

He laughed at how cute she was being, cupped her cheeks and then pressed his lips against hers.

Elliot held open the car door for Valerie to step out. They'd just arrived at the prison.

She climbed down and began walking to the building, her bodyguard following behind.

It's been three days since Matt agreed to send her the picture of her son. She’d known that he was bluffing; that was why she didn't even bother to tell Lucas.

She scoffed. How desperate was he to play such a cruel joke on a woman who'd lost her child?

Valerie entered the building and asked to see Karen. A guard when to fetch her while Valerie sat, waiting.

Amelia was out of jail, and she'd already handed her the video. The evidence was good enough to put Karen away.

A few minutes later, Valerie felt a stare burn through her skin. Even without looking, she already knew who it was. Already knew who hated her this much that their gaze could literally melt her flesh.

She looked up and smirked as Karen entered the room.

Karen glare remained intact as she lowered herself on the chair opposite Valerie. Then she threw her face to the side… As if doing that would make the bruises on her face less noticeable, less visible. "What are you doing here?" She spat.

Valerie rolled her eyes, ignoring Karen's question. "What happened to ‘not betraying your blood’?” She mocked. “Is prison that tough for you?"

Karen ground her teeth, her anger-filled eyes returning to Valerie. The words hurt more than they should have. She'd justified her betrayal to Ashley under the guise of ‘she’s not my blood.’

But what about her parents? She clenched her fists and pushed the guilt aside. “Just know that I'll come for you once I'm out of here,” she hissed instead.

“Once you're out?” Valerie let out a small amused chuckle which had Karen peering at her suspiciously. Her knowing gaze made a shiver run down Karen's spine, her expression literally screaming ‘I know something that you don't.’

“Yes,” Karen nodded confidently, a stark contrast to how she felt inside.

A lopsided smile appeared on Valerie's lips. "I know five years seems like a good deal for you…” She paused. “Yeah, it would have been a good deal, that's if you didn't already have a life sentence to serve."

Karen's eyes snapped up, but she regained her composure immediately. She wasn't going to allow Valerie to get to her. “What do you mean?" She side-eyed Val, trying to seem unbothered.
