Alless, after leaving his father and Leonardo, went in search of Scarlet who he found playing with the twins in the nursery. With her were Sabrina and Nana.
Scarlet felt her husband's presence before he materialized. Such was their connection. They were tied with a chord which none of them have been able to understand until now.
Alless looked down at his wife and mindlinked her to see him. Waving at the two ladies in the nursery in acknowledgement, he looked at his sleeping children and checked on Scarlet, making sure she understood him.
Scarlet excused herself. "I will be back Nana, Baby, let me know if there are problems with the twins."
"Okay Babe, we got you. See you later. We have a lot to discuss." Sabrina told Scarlet.
"I know Dr Scott," Scarlet enunciated Sabrina's title deliberately with a smirk.
"Okay, I know that look, run along, I am sure Alless is waiting for you." Sabrina said, giving Scarlet a push towards the door.
"Bye for now Princess", Nana waved Scarlet away.
Scarlet at the door now came back into the nursery and gave the two women a hug.
"Thank you, you two. I don't know what I would have done without your constant help, especially with the babies." Scarlet said emotionally and left the room quickly.
Sabrina and Nana looked at the door where Sabrina had just exited and were like, what has gotten into her today?
Scarlet went through the long passage leading to her and Alless' apartment. She thought of Clara. She had not seen her since Alless' ordeal. She made a mental note to seek her out immediately so she was free.
Opening the door to her apartment, she peeped and saw her husband sitting on a high chair with a worried frown on his handsome face.
“Hi, handsome,” she moved in her usual graceful way and hugged her husband from his shoulders.”How did it go with the intruders? Were you guys able to take care of it neatly?”

He felt so tired of all the intrigues in his life. When he met Scarlet, he thought his life was complete and they would live a normal , quiet domestic life until they turned gray.

When will it all end? He wanted to live an ordinary life with the love of his life and his children. Was this too much to ask for? She bent down and kissed his head, holding onto him tightly. She thought about that long ago first meeting with Alless and how far they had come. She could not believe that they were soul mates, not just from this lifetime but for many lifetimes.
Lifting Alless' face from her breast, she looked down on his handsome face and saw the worry lines on his forehead and looked at his blue eyes which were beginning to glow like embers of fire. With a cry, Scarlet bent down and kissed him in the mouth passionately, trying to take away his worries and angry with whoever was toying with their lives.
She had nearly lost Alless, she can't risk it again. This lifetime, no one would drive them to their deaths. She was determined to keep Alless and her children safe. This time, the stakes were higher; Elizabeth and James- they will grow up with their parents and nothing will change that.
Her kisses became ferocious and Alless noticed she was getting agitated. They could not afford that right now.

“Helena, calm down. I will not let anything happen to us this time, never. And that I promise.”
"Promise? Alexander?" Scarlet had stopped kissing him and was looking down at him, her eyes completely amber now from anger and arousal.
"I promise Helena, this time, we will grow old together. Have I ever failed my promise? I promised I would find you.Did I not?" Alless answered looking at this woman for whom he would give his life for, over and over again. You may call me a fool in love, but I don't care, Alless thought.
"For you, I will give up everything, again and again Helena. You must believe that and in every lifetime, I will be there."
Scarlet looked at her husband and hugged him tightly, holding his head near her heart.
Alless made Scarlet stand and he led her to their king sized bed. Beside the bed, he undressed her. Taking his time to kiss every exposed part of her body. By the time he reached her underwear , Scarlet was shedding tears. What did she do to deserve such a loving man? She never thought she would find a love such as this.
