Mia’s pov
I woke up with every muscle in my body aching. I blinked, my eyes trying to focus as I lift my head off a warm
hard chest after feeling the soft thud of his heart under my cheek.
I shifted slightly, unable to much seeing that his arm held my waist in a steel grip. The tips of his fingers brush
just above my bottom and maybe it was intentional.
I looked down, my heart leaping when my eyes fixed on his closed eyes that were framed by his long lashes. I
never realized how long they are, but now I see how they brush just on top of his cheekbone.
My fingers itch to touch his face and I do just that. My fingers brush along the edge of his sharp jaw bone,
feeling how it prickled slightly under the pads of my fingers.
I stare transfixed by how handsome he looked even while sleeping. He seemed more relaxed, more sedated. My
bare breast brush against the warm skin of his chest and my nipples bud tightly.
I bit my bottom lip, flushed that he was affecting me even while he was clearly sleeping.
I needed to get a grip especially after he fucked me more than four times last night. The soreness between my legs can surely vouch for that.
Suddenly Kade’s eyes fluttered and I’m now staring into the warmest blue eyes I have ever seen before. I always thought his eyes were beautiful, but now they were even more so, they were radiant.
“Morning,” A small tug at the corners of his mouth made me literally melt into his arms.
“Morning,” I said breathlessly, my fingers crawling to his lips slowly until I touched the softness. I watch him suck in a breath at my touch and watch in keen fascination when his pupils dilate.
I chewed my bottom lip my heart thumping quickly by the burning look in his eyes. With his eyes not looking away from my own, Kade lifts his hand, his rough padded fingers brushing my soft cheek. His chest rises and falls untameably.
“You’re so beautiful Mia,” He breathed out sounding in awe as his eyes shone brightly.
My breath catches in my throat, completely stunned by the look in his eyes and his words. Unable to answer him, I shyly fluttered my eyes down to his lips quite incapable to face the emotions swimming through his eyes.

He chuckles, his thumb feathering against my flesh tenderly. “Are feeling okay?” His voice held an edge of concern and slight anxiety.
Confused by his question, I lift my eyes and I’m startled by the level of concern swirling in his eyes. “I was a bit rough the first time…” He drawled, his arm around my waist going lower until his palm rested on top of my
bottom.
I could feel my skin burn under his touch and squirmed more into him. He hisses slightly when my legs lift to settle between his, my core brushing against his hips. I know I was wet, I could feel it and very well knew it was
kissing his skin too.
I look at him, blushing fiercely. “Just a little. ” I admitted. Honestly, the way he took me slowly the second time
was like he mended any throb or discomfort from the first time. He felt like heaven.
His blue eyes flicker down to my lips and he bites down on his. “I’m sorry I took you so many times last night. I
couldn’t stop,” He admitted looking at me with heavy lidded eyes.
Blushing furiously by the pure desire in his eyes, I responded shyly. “I didn’t mind. It felt…good.” I admitted, my fingers brushing his lips.
He raises his brow in surprise. “Really? I never knew I could cum so many times in a single night. ” He laughs
lightly, his words making me blush brightly.
Shyly biting my lip, Kade follows that action with intensity. He groans, his eyes moving from my lips to my eyes
where he murmured. “I want you.
I sucked in a jagged breath, my heart pumping furiously in my chest. I could’ve sworn it would jump out of my chest by how quick it was. “What?” I breathed out.
As much as I wanted Kade again, I didn’t think it would be a good idea to go at it again when I was sure it was early in the morning judging by the string of light streaming through the window curtains.
There was already a huge possibility for my parents to catch us. But I just didn’t want to move out of his arms as
yet, and if it were possible, I wouldn’t ever want to.
Kade draws his fingers to my lips where the soft feathering of his touch made them tingle.
Staring deeply into my eyes, he whispered. “I want you Mia and I’m not talking about sex. I know I have a lot of demons and it’s actually impossible to have anyone know about us, well until we figure this shit out but I don’t
want to wait for you until then. I want you now.”

I licked my lips, the tip of my tongue brushing his thumb. I’m tempted to wrap my lips around him but thought better of it before things escalated. “What are you saying Kade?” I could very well hear the thumping of my heart in my ears. Was this even healthy for my heart to be beating so furiously?
With his gaze dipped to my lips, Kade says groggily. “I want you to be mine Mia. I don’t care how it’ll work, all I care about is you and you being mine.”
I stared at him wide eyed and speechless. The thought of him asking me to be his girlfriend did cross my mind many times but hearing him ask me now was quite….
I didn’t have a word to label it as.
He takes my silence as a rejection because he clears his throat, eyes saddening as he gulped. “I know I don’t
deserve you. God, I don’t think anyone deserves you Mia. But it would literally kill me to see you in the arms of
another and I don’t want that to ever happen,” His grip on my butt tightened until he was basically squeezing it.
“Call me selfish, possessive if you will. But I’ll be damned if I make anyone else have a taste of you. I want
everything and I’m sorry if you think it’s too sudden or too scary but I don’t think I can wait. I need you now.” With a staggering breath, he finishes. “I’ll spend every day if I have to, to prove that I can be the man you need-
“Yes.” My voice cracked through the air before he got to finish his sentence. 1
I hear his breath still and his eyes search my own. After a couple of seconds, he staggers out. ” I–I are you-
He looks lost as if completely shocked that I was agreeing to be his. In his mind, he didn’t think he deserved me,
if only he knew how much he really does.
I nod, biting my lip as I peered down into his gleaming eyes. Did he really think I’d say no?
“The answer is yes. I don’t care what we have to do or what we’ll have to go through to make this work. Because you’re worth it and I want to be yours.” I admitted.
His eyes flashed, shocked yet happy with my answer. He smiles, his hand coming behind my head to tangle his fingers into my hair. He lifted his head so our lips brush. “Wait morning breath,” I protested but he shook his head and mumbled. “I don’t care,” Before connecting our lips.
He took his time kissing me, as if savoring every brush and every moment until I was sure we were at this for more than fifteen minutes. But then the sound of footsteps fading down the stairs made my heart lurch and for me to pull away from Kade.

My eyes go wide. ” Crap, I better go to my room before anyone comes to wake me up.” I rushed out, turning around only to get tangled in his sheets that had me ending up on the floor in seconds.
“Are you okay?!” Kade whispered yelled, peeking at me over the edge of the bed.
With a humiliating flush on my cheeks, I wrestle with the sheets to untangle myself while reassuring him I was
okay.
Kade grins down at me cheekily. “Always knew you’d be tangled in my sheets someday.” 7
