♡ Mia’s pov
“Sorry, but do I owe you?” I snapped, clearly not in the best of moods.

The guy smirks and I resist throwing my books at his face. He looks like a sophomore. “No babe. But if you want we can
make out-
“Leave me alone!” I snarled, slamming my books into my locker as I glared at him. He was the fifth guy who ‘offered’ to kiss me so I wouldn’t be un-kissed anymore. Like I’d ever make their lips touch mine. I wasn’t that desperate to kiss anyone. Well except for Kade but I was still furious with him.
And besides, a couple of hours ago, I did have my first kiss.
“Beat it dude,” Colby sighs beside me, almost annoyed that every horny male had their eyes set on me. I just think he was jealous and that was rather hilarious.
“And when I thought everyone was too drunk out of their minds to remember that I was probably the only girl unkissed in the entire school, “I gritted out as I slammed another book into my locker. I was taking my frustrations out on my books but I didn’t care.
Colby leans against a locker beside my own. “That’s not true, Gabriel hasn’t been kissed yet.”
I looked at him with narrowed eyes. ” Gabriel kissed Johnny last summer. The entire school was talking about it because apparently, she lost her virginity to him too.”
Gabriel was very introverted and would barely be seen without a book in her hands. It came as a shocker to everyone that she decided to kiss and sleep with one of the jocks.
Colby winces. “Well……
Seeing my frustrated face he continues. “Who cares anyway? You don’t have to kiss anyone until you’re ready. It’s your lips and not theirs.” He shrugs.
I nodded. “Agreed. It’s still annoying that these idiots think they can just come up to me and kiss me.” I huffed.
Colby’s eyes flickered behind me.” Well maybe you will actually get your first kiss after all,” He said slyly. My brows furrow. What the fuck?
“Incoming hot football player named Brian heading your way in three, two, one…”
“Hey Mia,”
I stiffen when Brian’s voice is behind me. “Bye!” Colby waved before scurrying away from me. What a traitor.
I closed my eyes for a second in frustration then turned around with one of the fakest smiles I had to ever muster.
Brian looks down at me with a look of embarrassment. He scratches the back of his head nervously. An action I grew confused by. “How have you been?”
How have I been? Considering how everyone in this entire stupid school knew about me not being kissed yet, then I think I am perfectly okay. Oh, and your sister’s stupid game is the cause of it by the way!
But instead of chewing out those words, I just mumbled out sarcastically. ” Oh I’ve been great, just now the hot topic of the entire school. Can’t say I’m mad about being noticed as the unkissed girl,” With a shrug, I stared at him without a single

string of emotion on my face.
Brian winces, his cheeks growing red. Wait, Brian Gomez blushes? Have I missed something?

“Yeah sorry about that. My sister can get a bit carried away during games. I don’t think she intentionally tried to make everyone know…..” He trailed looking unsurely as if afraid I’d chew off his head if he utters the word unkissed.
1 lift a single brow. That I’ve never been kissed?” I finished and he lets out a low tense chuckle.
I waved a hand, giggling out dryly. “Oh don’t worry about that. It’s not like I’m suddenly not getting opportunities to be kissed now. This might actually have worked in my favor, I shrugged sarcastically.
Brian’s eyes suddenly gleamed with a new spark. A spark I knew all too well.” Really? Because I was thinking-
I looked at my wrist. There was no watch but oh the fuck well. ” Oh look at the time. I must get going before I’m late!” Before he could finish off his unwanted sentence, I had closed my locker and dashed out of there like my ass was on fire.
Talk to you later then Mia!” He yelled. I grit my teeth but agreed nonetheless. He wasn’t a bad guy, well from what I’ve gathered. And he was being friendly, a bit too friendly but I didn’t think he mean any harm.
I was just too occupied with Kade right now to worry about him suddenly being interested in me.
As I rounded the corner I might have forgotten Kade’s locker was there. My eyes fell on him and Brianna. Her back is on a locker as she twirls her tresses between her fingers as she looks up at Kade who was throwing in some of his books in the locker.
Kade seemed to have sensed me and his head snapped my way. I could see the storm in his eyes, the anger that swirled untameably. He must still be mad about me kicking him out of the car.
But as his attention seemed to have drawn to me, someone else’s also. Someone like Brianna Gomez.
Her eyes fell on me, her lashes thickly coated with mascara fluttered. She smiled cheerily, moving off the locker to run towards me. I stagger in shock when her arms envelope around me, her perfume quickly surrounding me.
I look at Kade wide-eyed over her shoulder.
What the fuck?
“I’m so happy to see that you came to school today Mia. I was worried you wouldn’t considering the talks around the school,” She whispered, squeezing the life out of me. I could’ve sworn I felt my ribs crack under the pressure.
Yeah the talks you caused. I bit my tongue to hold in my words.
Pulling away with her arms still on my shoulders, Brianna held me at arm’s length. “I’m so sorry about last night. I can be a terrible host. I didn’t mean to ask you such a personal question in front of everyone,”
She sounded genuine. At least I hope so.
I shrugged, forcing out a smile. “Hey, it’s fine. I’m not mad about it. In fact, I think it worked in my favor. Guys are literally lining up to be my first kiss,” I snorted.
When I really thought about how ridiculous teenage boys are, the more amused I get at the situation. They’d jump at any opportunity to best each other. I was pretty certain that I was some kind of bet to them. Winner takes all.
Brianna’s eyes widen and so does her smile. “Really? That’s great!”
“What’s great?” The gruff question came from Kade who now stood behind Brianna.

I move my eyes off him quickly.
“Guys are lining up to kiss Mia! Isn’t that great?” She practically squeals. How is this a good thing again?

I could feel Kade’s eyes on me, the longer they stayed the more weight they threw on me. “Why?” I could detect the vexation in his voice and it was enough to lure in my gaze.
Our eyes connected over Brianna’s head and the storm I saw earlier in his eyes became almost untameable.
“They all want a piece of little Mia after last night.” Brianna giggled, slapping my shoulder lightly.
“Really? Why is that?” Kade’s shoulders were tense and his jaw was clenched tightly. Of course Brianna doesn’t notice she was facing me.
Brianna turns slightly to face him. “To have her first kiss silly!” She giggled. “That’s so romantic. What if you find your one true love this way?” She gushed.
Was this girl serious?
Kade glares down at me like I had committed the worst crime.” To have her first kiss huh?” He grunts annoyed. “Are you sure you haven’t lost that already Mia?” With a brow lift, Kade mocks me.
Seeing how irritated he was made me want to make him even more irritated. “As a matter of fact, I haven’t lost my first kiss yet. And I’m with Brianna on this. Maybe I’ll find my one true love this way.” I said in a sarcastic sweet tone.
Kade seethed, scowling in anger. Rolling his eyes he storms away. “He’s a really protective brother, isn’t he?” Brianna worded out loud while staring at Kade’s disappearing figure.
I cringed inwardly. If only she knew how unbrotherly he had been to me last night.
