Selena sighed. “Yes, I do.” She exhaled again.
“You don’t seem happy; isn’t he a good guy?”
“Not that. Although Xavier is very nice to me, I get the impression that dating him wasn’t the best idea. Don’t get me wrong. He is a good boyfriend, but my heart doesn’t always ache for him. All I want is to be in bed with him.” She paused. “I apologize; I’m talking too much, aren’t I?” She had her hair tucked behind her ears.
Titus shakes her head. “No. You’re doing fine. You should just let it all out and tell him.”
“I can’t.” She drank the last of her coffee. I don’t want to hurt him. Dalett said...”
“You should follow your heart and not worry about what others think. Selena, you deserve to be content. A girl like you deserves to be happy, and you should find a guy who can help you get there.”
Selena smirked. “Like you?”
“I didn’t say anything.” Titus chuckled. “But... I think you should express your feelings to this guy. It’s preferable to playing with the feelings of both yourself and him. I will tell you something. What if we meet during one of your free days? You look like someone who enjoys having fun.”
Selena paused before turning to face him again. “My only free day is the day I attend therapy. I have mine on Tuesdays and Thursdays. What about you?”
“Same day.” Titus said. He had no intention of lying to her, but he was willing to go to any length to change her mind about Tyler and win her back.
“That settles it. We will go on this day.”
“How about attending therapy?”
“It won’t harm anyone if we skip. Would it?”
Titus wanted to let her know that the day wasn’t going well. What if the therapist revealed her skipping therapy to her mother? What if she tells her therapist that she followed a man who also attends sessions? Then every lie will come to light. ‘No. It won’t.’ He thought. Instead, he decided to take a chance. When would he have another chance like this without Selena suspecting he was stalking her? He is unable to meet her at school due to her friends and Max. This location thus provides an ideal setting for their meeting. “That is actually the best time for you and me to go out and have a good time.”

“It’s fine. No one is home at this time.” Hania remarked as she entered the house code. As soon as the door opened, she kissed her way inside, her hands around Alexander’s neck. This has been ongoing for about a week. Hania had been craving more since their first kiss, which occurred in the car a week ago. She had told her mother that she was going out to see a friend, but in reality she was going to see Alexander. Nobody in the house knew she was still there. They thought she was at school, but for the previous two days, she had been living in a house Alexander claimed to have rented. A location not far from her own home.
They continued kissing as they climbed the stairs. Before continuing with him, Hania entered her room and stopped to lock the door behind her. Alexander was gently pushed onto her bed as she started to remove her shirt. “Are you really sure about this?” Alexander asked. He seemed like a nice guy to Hania, but he had a reason for entering her home. To learn more about Selena or to simply end her life.
“Of course I’m very sure. It’s not the first time we have done this.”
Alexander placed the pillow under his head and said, “That was yesterday.”
“And I liked it; I want more.” She gently unbuckled his belt while heaving herself up. Alexander did not stop her. Hania was a stunningly attractive and hot woman. Although he doesn’t do love, and he may not feel love for her, he does enjoy spending time with her. Since he met Hania, she hadn’t shown any signs of weakness. He appreciated that about her. She exudes ferocity whenever she appears. Women should not be weak. He hates weak women.
He cupped her face in his hands, turned her over, and began kissing her again. He gave her a hungry kiss, as if it were the last one he would ever give her. Alexander was viewed as a monster. He enjoys the way others perceive him. Mostly, especially women. However, the women with whom he has regular affairs always end up as dinner. Will Hania become one of them? He pondered. Hania was the first woman he had ever had sexual contact with, and he intended to continue the relationship. Hania’s powerful aura makes him feel powerful whenever she is near him. Maybe you should postpone having her for dinner for the time being. “Now tell me.” He paused between kisses.
“What?”
“I am confident you aren’t the type of girl who initiates or asks for a relationship. What are we?”
Hania chuckled. “Trust me. I don’t do love. It’s all for fun. Love makes one weak.”
“You get me.” Alexander grinned, leaning in and re-grabbing her lips. This time, as he kissed her, his hands slid up to her back and unbuckled her bra. Alexander’s hand slipped into her pants as their lips remained locked together. When she broke the kiss, he heard a groan in his ear. He began sucking on one nipple as his mouth gripped it. Her fingers were in his hair as Hania groaned, and he went on. His finger dug down into her wetness. She was being cradled and stroked as if it were her last.
“Alexander.” She called. Begging him not to stop, but to stop as well. As far as she could tell last night, Alexander was not going to stop. She knew he would make her beg. “Alexander.” She spoke with a shaky, frail voice.
“Ask for it,” he directed.
He grabbed Hania’s mouth again and covered it with his own, making her feel like she was in heaven. His hand remained on her pussy until they heard a voice from downstairs. Hania opened her eyes and met his gaze. “Selena,” she answered.
“Whaaaaattt???” Alexander released her and withdrew his hand.
“Selena is home. She shouldn’t be home at this time.” Hania approached the door while trying to wear her skirt.
“What are you doing?” Alexander inquired after preventing her from talking.
“Trying to go and distract her.”
“Have you forgotten that they believe you are in school?”
“You should leave, Alexander. I will call you later. I promise.” Hania kissed him. She saw him grab his phone from the bed and exit through the window. She straightened her hair and buttoned her shirt before leaving her room to appear normal rather than like a girl about to finish having an orgasm when interrupted.
“Hania?” Selena called when she noticed her descending the stairs. “You are home.”
“Yeah.” Hania went to get some water out of the refrigerator.
Selena trailed behind. “But why? We all saw you leave.”
Hania drank as much water as she could from the bottle before returning to face Selena. “School has resumed, but no classes will begin until next week. The new students must spend the week settling into their dorm rooms. Why are you home so early? No therapy?”
“There was, but it ended earlier. Dr. Gabriella and I had run out of topics to discuss.” Selena pointed to her sister’s shirt as she examined her. “You didn’t button them properly. And...” She shakes her head. “Your lips have swelled. Your lipstick also stained your face slightly. Hania.” With her arms crossed, she said.
“You brought a boy home. Where is he? When can we meet him?”
“I don’t know what you are talking about.”
“I am sure you do, Han. You are an adult. It shouldn’t be kept a secret from us.”
Hania began to chuckle. “Oh. Says someone who is only pretending to be in love in order to maintain their status as queen. Be truthful with yourself, Selena. Maybe then I will tell you all that I am seeing a boy.”
“What do you mean?”
“Selena, I am talking about Xavier. You don’t love Xavier. You simply love the idea of him, and it has always been so.”

The following morning, as Selena went down the stairs, she felt dizzy. She paused, holding on to the railings. Why does she keep having memories that she can’t recollect? She was perplexed. She inhaled deeply and tried to push the thoughts away, but as she took another step forward, she yelled in agony, grasping her head in her hands and squatting to claim herself. She breathed in and out. “Selena, you’re doing fine. You’re okay.” She repeated herself.
These are the words Dr. Gabriella always tells her to say when she has a painful or depressing memory that makes her want to harm herself or use drugs for relief. As soon as she closed her eyes, she smiled as she remembered Titus. Suddenly, the pain went away.
Selena got back on her feet and approached the dining room as if nothing had happened. “Good morning, Family.” She drew a chair and sat down. She looked over to Hania, who she wasn’t expecting to show up for breakfast.
“You showed up.”
