Chapter 12

**Winter**

The rest of the day went pretty uneventful. Which made me happy. My other classes didn’t have either of the boys in them which was good. It was good I was a year behind them and also in a different major. I wasn’t even sure what their majors were. Royal was the only one I knew who wasn’t going into professional sports. He was following in his dad’s footsteps. From what I heard from his father, Zander was headed for the NFL. I could guess if not that he would also follow in his dad’s footsteps and become a lawyer. He didn’t seem to like it very much though. Saint and Cyrus were a mystery about what they planned to do next. I doubt Cyrus could go far in basketball being a mute, but he made it pretty far already so who knows? I know Saint always dreamed of getting out of Everlasting and traveling the world. It was one thing that he always talked about. Something he couldn’t do though due to funds.

I sat in the library until my mom came to pick me up and take me home. She quickly went to get dinner ready as soon as we got home. I didn’t bother to help, going up to my room, to continue my homework. It was weird being back in this room. It had so many memories wrapped inside of it. Mostly painful memories and things I wish I could forget. How each of the boys had had their own way with me in this room in their own certain way. How each of them had made me cum. How they always came in one at a time and never in a group even though they always talked about sharing me.

I also thought of all the times I had cried in here. All the times I wished I was anywhere but here. How I wished I had a friend. Also, there was the darkest memory of all here. The one I didn’t want to think of, but it still crossed my mind as I walked passed my desk.

The room was exactly the same as I left it. It was bigger than my room at my grandma’s, but I preferred the one at my grandma’s. It had fewer sad memories attached to it. I walked to my fuzzy purple chair where I sat down and pulled out my phone. I scrolled through some posts on social media. I was looking at some friends’ posts I had back when my grandma lived. I couldn’t help, but miss them. I was never that close to them. Not really to form a bond like most people had with friends. I was always scared that they had found out too much about my past. The photos were still around. I knew they were. The cops tried to scrub their internet off them, but nothing is truly gone from the internet. Everything finds a way to come.

There was a knock on the door, causing me to look up from my phone. I figured it was Mom telling me that dinner was ready. As I looked at the figure that was in the doorway, I realized it wasn’t.

“What do you want?” I asked Zander who was standing there. “I know you aren’t here to apologize for what your friends did to me.”

He shook his head as he let himself inside my room. “It’s been a while since I been in this room, sissy. It hasn’t changed a bit though. Not like it would since you weren’t here.”

I couldn’t help, but roll my eyes at him. “What do you want, Zander? What are you doing in here?”

He pushed my hair behind my shoulder. “I am here to talk to you, sissy. We haven’t talked in a while and we got interrupted this morning.”

“I don’t want to talk to you. Don’t you understand that? You made my life a living hell in the past. That’s where I would like to leave everything in the past.” I said getting up from my seat.

He got up as well coming behind me. “Did you really think you could come back here and everything would be left in the past? Are you really so naive?”

“What do you mean?” I asked looking at him confused. “You guys are all moved on. Why can’t I just move on with my life too? I want a normal life.”

He cooed softly in my ear. “I haven’t moved on, dear sister. Not even close. If anything I have grown more attached to you. Amber and I are just for looks.” He placed a hand on my shoulder and leaned in closer. “I figured you would have known that. Do you really think Royal has moved on by what happened in the alleyway?”

I moved my shoulder out of his grip. “No, but he wants to at least. He needs to. All of you need to and leave me be.”

He chuckled darkly. He moved fast to come and pin me to the wall. “Never, dear sister. They can give up all they want, but I will never give up on you. Trust me, I will make sure you regret the day you ever came back here. That was the chance at your normal life. Now you are back. Things go back to where they are supposed to.”

I shook my head trying to push him off. “No, you won’t get me this time. You won’t have me twisted around your sick little finger. No!” I spat in his face. He pulled off of me to wipe it away. I looked at him victorous. He glared holes into me.

“You will regret it. Mark my books little sister, you will regret this.” He left with that. He slammed my door hard behind him. I could hear my heart race after he was gone. I couldn’t believe that actually happened. I knew now though there was no way I could lay low. I didn’t to make them regret it.

“You will regret it, Zander. Mark my words, you will.”
