Chapter 17 Where is Rheagar?
Auren
Finally.
Time for payback.
I stand outside the building where Rheagar's men are supposedly hiding out.
I turn to Raze, and give him a nod, "Go scope the place out with the others, and come give me a report. I can't go in with cupcake over here," I tilt my head to Asha who's still sitting in the car.
"Yes boss," he nods, heading towards the building with three of my other goons.
"Do you think it's necessary to fight them back?" Asha's voice rings in my ears.
I look over my shoulder, "What are you trying to imply?"
"I'm just saying, I don't think it's necessary for you to pay him back. You could just let it go," she shrugs.
A hint of a smile appears on my lips, "such an innocent little princess," I run my thumb over her lower lip, "I believe I have told you before, I'm a member of the underworld. This is my life, pumpkin."
I grin just to infuriate her.
Her face goes bright red, and she smacks my thumb off her lip, "So what will happen if you get killed? I hope I don't die," She folds her arms across her chest, looking away.
I ruffle her hair, "I'm not the king of the underworld for nothing."
She shakes my hand off her head, shuffling further into the seat.
"Get your infuriating ass away from me," she clicks her tongue.
I sigh deeply, shutting the car door behind me, "I wonder how much more of this I can take before my head explodes," I hold my already throbbing head.
Three minutes later, Raze and the others come back out to report to me, "We've got them, boss. They're all tied up," he grins.
Perfect.
I tilt my head to the car, "One of you stay here, and look after her."
"Yes boss," one of them nods, standing beside the car door.
I saunter towards the building, Raze and the other men behind me.
"Should we kill them right away, sir?" Vincent, another of my goons, asks.
"No," I narrow my eyes, "I want to watch them suffer," I crack my knuckles.
"Sure thing, boss," he opens the door, and I walk through, into the room where they are being kept.
Four of them kneel, their hands tightly bound, their mouths gagged.
Just how I like it.
Raze pulls out a chair for me, "Here you go, boss. Please sit."
I plop my butt on the chair, my legs spread out before them, a satisfied grin spread across my face.
"Oh how the tables have turned," I join my knuckles together, still keeping my grin to piss them off.
One of them tries saying something, but his words are my muffled.
"Take off their gags," I exhale deeply.
Vincent immediately does that.
"You bastard! Rheagar will definitely come for you! I know it!" He roars at me.
"I will love to see him try," I whip out my revolver, and pull the trigger.
Blam! Blam!
Shot twice in the throat.
"Idiot," I shake my head, facing the other three who have probably pissed their pants at this point.
"Where is Rheagar?" I ask again, my smirk wiping off my face.
"W-we don't know sir," they reply.
"That's impossible," Raze yells, punching one in the nose.
"Hey, hey be careful," I wave my hand, "One is already gone, we might as well preserve these ones to know where Rheagar is."
"Sure thing, boss."
"I'll ask you again. Where is Rheagar?" I stand up, advancing slowly towards them.
"Even if we did, we would never tell you," one of them bluffs, with pink hair that makes him look like a fraying cotton candy.
I grit my teeth in frustration, feeling the veins pop up on my neck.
"You sons of dying bastards!" I tighten my grip around the revolver, "Do you want to die or what?"
"I'd rather die than say anything to you!" He spits at me.
"Haa," a corner of my mouth turns up, but my eyes are twitching.
"You're pretty arrogant for that small stature of yours," I slowly wrap my hand around his neck, "I guess you'd like me to torture you first?"
"You should go ahead and kill me instead," he grins unsettlingly..
A thin feeling of dread rests upon my chest, firing the feeling of uncertainty in my veins.
Rheager had always been my biggest, and hardest rival for the past five years. No matter what I do, I can't seem to get him out of the way.
I clench my fists, my eyes seeing red.
"Bastard!" I kick the fucker hard in the throat, and he falls backwards.
Still enraged, I grind my boot into his chest, "Where is Rheagar, you bastard?!" I yell at the top of my lungs.
He coughs, spitting out blood, but still says nothing.
I step away from him frustrated, my head swirling with a whirlwind of emotions.
"What do I do now?" I mutter to myself, my head pounding from all the internal chaos.
"Should we keep torturing them, boss?" Aidan asks.
I go mute for a while, my eyes darting around. There must be something that'll make them fold. I would have tried hypnosis, but they could manoeuvre through it somehow, so that's out of the plan.
But what else can I do?
I take a good look at the goon's face, wondering which information of him is stored in my head. I know all of Rheagar's men by heart, and had stored up as much information of them as I could.
Perks of an extraordinary brain.
"You're Dan, aren't you?" My face lights up.
He coughs again, muttering something indecipherable.
"Return him back to his former position," I hold my head.
Raze and Aidan help him back to his kneeling position.
"Answer me," I grip the back of his hair, "You're Dan, aren't you?"
He spits out blood, another stupid smirk plastered on his smug face, "So what? Do you think you knowing my name changes anything?"
Oh, how I wish I could crush his head under my feet, and still find out Rheagar's whereabouts.
I let go of his head, "Getting too arrogant, huh?" I take two steps back, my heart pumping with excitement.
"Arielle is your wife, and Nyelle, your only daughter. I wonder if they are doing alright," I prop my chin with my hand, my eyes glistening with raw, unfiltered evil.
Rushes of dopamine fill my brain as I watch his smug smirk wipe off his face, and twist with horror. His half lidded eyes are now blown wide, his lower lip trembling.
"Wh- what did you do to them?!" He yells.
"Nothing presently, but I will do anything that comes to my mind. Trust me, they aren't the best thoughts," it's now my turn to smear a smug smirk on my face.
"Don't touch them! Don't you dare!" His veins pop up on his neck, and forehead.
I swirl on my heels, "I'm giving you the next ten minutes to make up your mind. If yo
u don't, accept whatever happens to them, and to you."
