This thing was so cool, because there are many things that I can see even far away in this place; but it gave me another problem in that I don't know how to stop myself from seeing those things. How can I focus on what is in front of me if there are too many things that are bothering me now? So unpleasant. What kind of curse is this? My tears are dripping just because of this.
I wiped my tears with my coat and looked back ahead. Cool! It's so incredible that tears are the only solution to stop the unpleasant thing! I can now see what's in the front of me and also the lampposts and the houses that are standing ahead.
There are huge trees in the grassland just near the road. The fruits that are hanging on the branches of the trees look delicious, but I don't know what kind of fruits they are, because I have never seen them before. Those fruits might be uneatable and cause pain or allergies in me, and they might be poisonous. In my town, I can only see fruit once a year. I am always eating pork, beef, and junk foods, but it seems like they do not have any effect on my body. I knew that whatever food I ate would be useless because it seemed that I was eating nothing.
Since I was young, I have doubted that I am not just a normal human, because many things are different between me and the other children. I can survive if I don't eat food for a long time, maybe a week, a month or even a year. I only eat food if I want it, if there is someone who wants me to eat it, and if it is something delicious. I don't want to be obvious about what I am, because I know that the people around me will say that I am an abnormal girl. Well, it is not my fault if what people look at me. The problem is with them, because they cannot see the beautiful part of me.
Nothing will happen if I just sit down there and think about certain things. Nay, those things are not yet certain. Things have the possibility of changing. I'd better find a way to change my expectations. I'd better go towards those houses so that my mission here will be done early. I sense that I need to do a heinous crime before I can be free from this curse. Though I don't want to do anything wrong, the universe will still pave a way for it. I felt like the breeze was pushing me towards the house and seemed to scourge me if I did not follow it.
Sorry to the world, but I have realized that I must not waste the opportunity to live in this world. I need to do this thing in order to survive. I still want to live longer, to give my parents the right justice and to live a happy life with the people that I love so much. I must love myself, be strong and be brave in order to get rid of this curse. I will squeamish about everything for the life that I am dreaming of. Sorry to the people that became victims of this curse. Sorry to the people that gave their lives for a mission that is nonsense and does not have a clear reason.
Walking on my feet, feet that seemed tired. I had never walked on the long road before, a road that is covered with the shades of trees and some lampposts. It was a challenge for me to walk on the road and listen to my own footsteps. Looking at the colorful butterflies that are flying along the roadsides. What kind of place is this? Everything seemed to be making me sleep and singing a lullaby.
If this did not happen, I would have already fallen asleep in my bedroom. after the first day that she demonstrated to me, there were many impossible and eerie things that happened. But what happened cannot be undone. There is no use looking back or wondering, because my past is a strange and unfunny thing.
I'm the type of girl who is always looking for someone to blame for what is going on. Though I know that it was all my fault, these things are happening to me now.
Something came to my brain. I remember when I was fifteen, I already dreamed of having a handsome husband, children, and a family. The plot of my life has been planted in my mind. The arrangement was there too–from introduction to the ending: spending my days with my husband, making unforgettable memories anywhere, traveling the world as long as we can, and having many children is also part of it. Even the smallest detail was also there: the names of my children, swimming at the beach, etcetera.
When I turned sixteen, I realized that life was not as easy as I had thought. My fate is not only that I can make it. Sometimes, the wind will change the way it blows. I realized that there are many possibilities that might happen to my life, and I was not wrong. I am now suffering because I had not prepared for the things that might happen.
Nick South was real. Now I remembered that he was once my playmate when I was young. Our parents are partners in businesses. He was always with me before, but I don't know the reason why he had just suddenly disappeared. Maybe he was only busy with schooling.
The old woman always seemed to be watching me, because it seemed that she also knew my past. She knew that I had a playmate. Her memory is better than mine, despite the fact that she was already old and I had been younger than her for many years.
Maybe there are many things that I have forgotten, but why have I forgotten them? Though I have not experienced amnesia, I cannot find someone to blame, because there is nobody suitable for it.
Drifting alone on a quiet road. If I can only control this power that I have, I am not suffering for anything. Maybe the old woman can tell me anything about this. If it happens that I can control my power, I will believe that I am one of the lucky ones, because even though there are many ordeals in life, I did everything and passed them all. I will be happy to have power, power that doesn't want to hurt other people, unlike the one that I currently have. A power that is useful and I can use to save people and not hurt them.
Conscience is so powerful that even though I cannot control my body, it is persecuting me. But how can I follow the whisper of conscience if I can't even control myself? The silent whisper of conscience that I can't almost hear because of this curse.
I chose which path I should take, but the curse had taken its own path; now it was going towards the front of the house that looked haunted. This curse is giving me fear. Maybe there is still a positive side to this situation. The positive side that is always hiding everywhere and hard to see because what I can only see is the negativity. Life is full of negativity. How can I not be affected? I flew up with avidity, while my hope descended.
Stupid! My hands get an axe that is attached to the wood in front of the house. The axe glitters with sharpness. How can I avoid what it is going to do? I can't even close my eyes or wink. Every time this curse controls my body, I am poorer than a zombie, but more merciless than Satan.
Going towards the wooden door of the house and knocked on it, while my other hand was holding the sharp axe. There are many windows that are made of glass around the room, and the yellow curtains can be seen from outside. The house is yellow-painted in the lower portion and white-painted in the upper portion. There is no garbage around, even a little, and not even a small amount of dirt on the walls of the house, even though it is painted with dirt-pursued paint. Having this kind of house is so beautiful, simple, and peaceful, but why does this curse want to break the peace here? Does not it know that the people here are not doing anything wrong, but simply living a peaceful life?
This curse is so merciless that I know that it won't show any sympathy because it only has a brain and does not have a heart. It can kill everyone, even a poor child, even a baby that was still in the stomach of its mother. It is sharper than any sword, heavier than any load, hotter than the sun and eviler than Satan.
For sure, the owner of this house is sleeping at these hours because everything here seems to be singing a lullaby. The sun-kissed is so warm that it seems nobody wants to face it. The foliage of the tall coconut trees is dancing with the cool, intermittent breeze.
Though there is nobody opening the door, my hands won't stop knocking. It knocks harder and harder until even my ears report that they hear a thunderclap.
Even my eyes saw that the house was shaking a bit because of the strong knock of my hands on the door. But my hands did not feel tired as long as nobody was opening the wooden door. My hand is very determined in what it wants to do. I hope that nobody will open the door, whatever happens, or else they will meet Mr. Death.
I knew that this house could not be easily destroyed because it was made of cement, stones, sand, and a few woods. There are two ways to enter the house if nobody opens the door: using the axe to break the door or the windows that are made of glass. The people that are living in this house seem lucky because my body does not know any other way to enter the house. This dimwit's body seemed to be compressing itself to enter through the door.
The wooden door suddenly cried out as someone opened it. I saw a woman that was wearing a plain white shirt that was striped with black and white pants that were striped with white. I don't know what its color is or what it is striped with, because it has a balanced black and white color. There seemed to be a skin of a zebra in the movie [Madagascar]. The woman is also wearing white slippers.
The woman is beautiful: she has a high nose, red lips, thick brows, white skin, and banded long hair. She has beautiful mauve eyes, just like mine. She is a little bit chubby, and we are just the same height, but I know that sooner or later I will become taller than her. But it does not matter, because however tall we are, we cannot avoid becoming shorter when we grow older.
I don't care what this woman looks like or how tall she is. What I care about is that she made the biggest mistake of her life when she opened the door. This will be the last day of her life.
"Hey! Who are you and what are you doing here? Are you—"
She had not finished her words when my hand cleaved her head with a sharp axe. It caused a big crack on her forehead or between her two eyes. The woman died easily. But even though she's already dead, my hand would not stop striking her with an axe. Maybe it was very angry and irritated because this woman had not opened the door quickly enough; and that was the reason for the flogging. But whatever the reason it has, it is still a very wrong, merciless, evil, unlawful, and the most unpleasant sin in the whole wide world that I saw with my own two eyes.
My hand pulled the woman inside the house and it shut the wooden door. The woman was so pitiable that my hand seemed to make her wood so that it stroked her whole body. She got many bruises everywhere: on her abdomen, chest, head, arms, shoulders, etc. The red liquid from her body is splashed on the door. Minutes elapsed before my hand stopped striking the woman.
My body turned around. There is an upholstered couch inside, a television, a table, chairs that are made of varnished wood, soft pillows, etcetera. The house just looked beautiful from the outside, but inside it was a mess. Maybe it turned into a mess because there was just a small space inside, unlike in my mansion where anywhere you looked was spacious.
People were the same with this house: they looked good, kind, innocent, and beautiful when we looked outside, but I am sure that there were just a few people who were clean inside, mostly a mess. Like me, but they cannot judge me because it wasn't my fault; it was the curse that messed me up. It messed up my whole life!
I thought that there was a family living in this house. There is only a mess. Still walking towards the kitchen, my body seemed searching for another victim. My hand also opened the empty cauldron. Maybe it was also thinking that there was someone inside it. What a dimwit body. It goes towards the cupboard and opens it, seeming to be searching for something, but does not know what it is.
After searching in the kitchen, they went outside and checked the bathroom, but nobody was there, still holding the axe in their left hand. My feet brought me towards the other room, and my hand turned the knob.
The room is also a mess: there are many clothes, towels, blankets, etcetera, that are hanging on the clothesline. I saw a man that was lying on an upholstered bed. He did not have clothes on the upper part of his body. Maybe he was the husband of the woman who had already met Mr. Death.
My feet brought me inside the bedroom, and I locked the door. Maybe it is making everything sure so that if the man wakes up, he cannot escape whatever he will do.
Maybe my body is saying, "Don't worry, man, I will help you meet your wife either in hell nor in heaven."
Going towards the bed where the man was lying, he seemed to be in such a deep slumber that he did not hear any sounds that were made by my body. The man is just wearing boxer shorts, and I can see his white legs. He has big muscles in his arms, abdomen, and chest that move slightly up and down when he breathes.
He looked fit and well-stretched. He had a high nose, short hair, and a clean face. This handsome man seemed to not have or care about anything or any problems that came or might come.
What I can only do is to hope that this man will have another chance to wake up from a deep slumber. Everyone deserves to live a life and have a responsibility to take care of their lives. However, what else could I do to give that to him, if there was no other thing that I could do but hope for the best, though it was hopeless?
Certainly, my hand was going to stroke the man when he woke up and rolled himself on the upholstered, soft bed to avoid the axe that wanted to pierce him.
I screamed in my brain, don't hurt me! Though I know that I cannot feel any pain because it's my body that is making the moves, and it's my body that can feel pain. Shouting is just my instinct. Maybe I can also feel the pain that it would cause if everything came back to its normal condition.
"Who are you? What are you doing in my house? Why do you want to kill me?" He continuously asked. Slightly panting.
What is the use of my scream if he cannot hear it? I have already tried to scream many times, but nobody can hear it. He was an innocent man. It is so unlawful that he would just die without any clear reason. I know that he deserves an explanation, but how can I explain everything to him if I cannot even say a word?
My hand tried to stroke him many times, but he avoided all of my attacks. He looked trained in fighting. He punched me many times and I caught all of them. But however he may punch me, I will not feel any pain.
Until my hands became very angry, it did not stop striking the man. Until it hit him in his abdomen, another strike on his foot, another strike on his arm, another strike on his chest, and he totally lay down on the floor. He was full of blood streaming down from the wound on his abdomen, left foot, left arm, and right chest. The bed that was upholstered with white velvet has now become reddish-white because of the blood that came from the body of the pitiable man.
"Please don't... kill... me..." he stammered. Imploring. I can see from his face that he felt so much pain.
He was so pitiable; but what can I do? My hand totally shut him up by striking his head with the glittering axe, which is now covered with blood.
