Memories Reawakening

The box of claws was brought before Daemon. He took a glance at his daughter, staring for her innocence. Shereena shook her head in despair, urging her father to not listen to Frey.

But Daemon was not the type to take sympathy or pacifications. He stared at the five claws one after the other.

In truth, one of them was significantly different than the others. It was the one which he used to threaten captain Frey the other day. The rest, he had not been able to use their powers. He had thought that it was because he had not made the ritual yet. But now it was clear that he had been tricked.

"You bastard!!"

He raised her to from the ground using the power of the one claw of power he possessed.

Shereena struggled, grasping on her throat as she lifted in the air, choking on her breathe.

Everyone in the palace scrambled in fear. Was the alpha going to kill his own daughter? Daemon had been known to be the most heartless alpha in all the lands. But nobody had ever imagined this day. This day when he would try to kill his own daughter.

"Father... Hear me out..."

Her eyes were red, and out of her mouth came blood. She could not speak, neither could she save herself. For all that was obvious, the princess was about to lose jer life in the hands of her raging father. There was nobody who could stop Daemon.

Nathan was out of the palace at this time. He had been given the duty retrieving the last two claws from Alorea.

With the map she left on his bed the other night, he could predict the way to the house where she lived. And with the drawing she had left on his bed, he could easily recognise her house.

As he approached the house, he saw a figure peep at him from the front window. It looked like a woman, perhaps it was Alorea herself.

As soon as he knocked on the door, it opened and a young woman welcomed with smiles.

"Welcome, young master. My mistress has been anticipating your visit."

He knew who this woman was. She was the maid who worked in the palace before. Something had happened between her and princess Shereena and she was sent away from the palace. Everybody thought she was lucky because she was able to leave the job with her life. Most other girls who had tried to leave earlier ended up being executed.

But what was this? Why was she here in Alorea's home? Was she working for Alorea now?

Cloris led him towards a table filled with food. It was a kind of meal whose scent brought back memories for Nathan. But those memories were nowhere to be found in his brain. It was almost as if they were not from his past, but rather from a dream into the future.

Behind the fully set table stood Alorea, her two elbows and her breasts resting on the table.

"How would you like to have your meal, master Nathan? Before the sex, or after the sex...."

"No..." His memories came calling again. It was something which he could recall completely, but he knew something of this nature was familiar.

"This is not the reason I came here..." He muttered.

"Oh really?" Alorea and Cloris shared stares. They giggled to one another. "Then why have you come here?"

"I came to deliver a message... I came to find..."

"Ohh..." Alorea interrupted. "Have you come for this?"

She placed the claw on lightening on the table, right before her.

"Yes, yes.." he rushed towards her direction. But before he could put a hand on it, she had made grab of the claw, shaking her head with a smile.

"If you want this, then you have to come and get it."

Before he could blink, the claw was hiding between her breasts, fixed firmly behind her revealing dress.

Then she strolled away into her room, about to close the door behind her.

He could not allow that. He had to stop her from closing it. If she closed it, he would not be able to take the claw again.

Thus he rushed after her, flying through the doorway before she could close it.

"Wow... We are alone again.. and this this time there is nobody to interrupt.."

He felt his senses dousing. The scent from the food had infiltrated his mind and he could no longer keep himself on his feet.

Dropping on the bed behind him, she dropped after him, carefully picking his hair with her second hand on his chest.

"How did you go from this... To the tall muscular evil Nathan that I know?"

Staring in her eyes, he could remember the times he would force himself on her. The times he would come at night and drag her from her prison cell. The times he would thrust himself into her till she could no longer bear it.

These memories kept coming to him, but even though he could remember them, he was pretty such he had never done all these. What was happening to him? Was he infected with the memories of another person?

"What is this...?"

"Shh..." She put a finger on his lips. "You do not have to say anything."

Of course he tried to speak again. He tried to say Shereena's name, but her lips met with the letters, sending them back to wherever they had come from.

The kisses developed from into a deeper enclave of romance, as both parties touched one another, enroused in the aura.

Alorea had received a reverse potion from Cloris who claimed that the potion would create a scent when added to the person's favourite meal. The scent would bring back the person's lost memories. Although she was not sure if it could return the memories that had not happened yet, she knew it would be really helpful.

Nathan lost himself in the deepest of memories, slowly and slowly, he could remember everything about Alorea's past life. It did not seem like the memory belonged to him, but he could see everything unfold the same way it had happened back then.

"Alorea..." He whispered.

********************

Few hours earlier.

Alorea was in a troubled state, trying to understand whatever had happened between her and Nathan in the past.

"What is it?" Cloris asked, trying to make her feel better.

"The spell that you spoke about? How does affect a person? Did you not say that it would disappear after having sex with another woman?"

"Yes..." Cloris assured.

It did make sense to Alorea. Nathan had slept her back in the tavern when she was drunk. If that was the criteria to break the enchantment then why did he go on to betray her afterwards.

"It could be due to a different phenomenon. But there is another way the spell can be broken."

"What is the way?"

"The potion of memories."

Cloris explained the spell to her. She said a person would be broken off the enchantment if they can be made to remember vague parts of their which they had completely forgotten about.

"If the barriers of the memory can be broken, them the barriers of the spell will break too".

Alorea thought about it and it made sense. But she still did not understand one thing.

"Why are you telling me all these? I know that Captain Frey kept you here to keep an eye on me. Why are you helping me?"

"Because you have been good to me even though you know I am a spy. You have bee better to me in a few days than anyone has been since the day I was born".
