I retreated back to my room and get ready. I was wearing my skinny beige chinos, topped with an oversize white sheer shirt with a camisole underneath then slipped on my wedges. I pulled my hair up in a messy bun and finish off with a lip gloss.
"Okay, I'm done."
"Beautiful." He looked at me appreciatively and stroked my cheek
"Give me a second to shut this down, then we'll be on our way." He pointed to his laptop.
We arrived at the meeting place not long after. The place was quite secluded, but there was warmth surrounding it. Anthony parked the car on the lot, he was looking handsome today with his navy dark suit. He ditched his suit jacket and his silk tie in the car, trying to blend casually in with others in the meeting.
An older woman greeted us in the reception area and introduced herself as Gabrielle but told us to call her Gabby. I told her that Ann sent me there. And she was welcoming me right away as she ushered us inside and introduced me to everyone.
An hour later I was at ease with them. They were having a lunch break but offered me to join them after lunch and discussed further about other experiences in another group session.
"So, you want to go back in after lunch? I can send Bert to wait on you…to take you home. And we'll meet up at dinner time?" He caressed my knuckles, looking handsome as always.
"Well, I guess so. I don't have anything else for today. Okay then, you can send Bert after we have lunch. So, what do you want for lunch?"

I was back at the meeting after lunch without Anthony, as he went straight to the office.
Gabby introduced me to Walter. She said he was one of the best just like Ann. Well…I didn't know that Ann was one of the best. I just smile knowing that I felt much better about Ann and the group. I truly believe that I could craft my skill just like Ann, and it would make me more confident in the future.
