Steele grunts, “We can accept that. What do you hope to accomplish at the summit?” Selra, “Peace. Safety. A future where I don’t have to run.” The fairies softened. Vee, “And Avery?” Selra shrugs, “I don’t know her. But I don’t want her hurt.” 

The fairies quickly communicate telepathically, “She is being sincere. We should have the Council find the people hunting her, and fix it. She deserves a place to grow.” They turned back to Selra, Vee speaks, “You may go. We will talk to the council about your issues. Your magic is unstable, but we will try to help you.”

As the fairies wait for the next person to come in, they continue to make notes and add their findings to the ever growing report. They are finding a lot out. Brann enters with a polite nod. Sitting calmly. Vee begins, "State your name and race.” 

Brann responds, calmly, “Brann. Human.” Thistle asks, “How long have you served under Londrell?” Brann, “Five years.” The fairies nod at each other. Steele is curious, “Why did you join him?” Brann smiles faintly, “Because he believed in change. And because he believed in us.”

The fairies nod and look at each other approvingly. Vee asks, “What do you hope to accomplish at the summit?” Brann smiles shyly, “Understanding. A chance for both sides to step back from the edge.” Thistle asks, “And Avery?” Brann shrugs, “She deserves to be heard. Just like Londrell.” The fairies exchange relieved looks. They dismiss Brann, and call for the next person.

As the hours passed, the fairies grew weary. Vee surmises, “We have found rot.” Thistle adds, “And fear.” Steele grudgingly, “and hope.” They have taken copious notes. And were working on putting the report together cohesively.

Purpose of Report: This document contains the full findings from the one-on-one interviews conducted with all fourteen members of Londrell’s chosen envoy. Each interview lasted between 1 and 3 hours, depending on cooperation and magical resistance. We were given special enchantments to be able to read emotional resonance, detect concealed intent, identify concealed intent, violent or destructive impulses, decipher truth or deception. All findings below are accurate and magically verified.

INDIVIDUAL INTERVIEW SUMMARIES:

VARYN: (Londrell’s second-in-command) RACE: High Elf INTERVIEW LENGTH: 1hr 20min NOTES: Loyal, Calm, Direct, Cooperative, Believes in Londrell but fears the extremists, Wants peace but is prepared for war, We trust him completely, Finally someone sane, If Londrell had ten more like him we wouldn’t be here.

MIRA: (Extremist) RACE: Shade-touched Elf INTERVIEW LENGTH: 2hr 45min NOTES: Dangerous, Evasive, Hostile, Sarcastic, Lies repeatedly, Magic reveals violent intent, Wants the summit to fail, Wants Avery dead, She is marked as a High Threat, If hatred had legs it would look like her, She lied so much the recorder nearly overheated.

TORREN: (Extremist) RACE: Warlock INTERVIEW LENGTH: 3hr 10 min NOTES: Fanatic, Tries to use his “Charm” to get out of things or to cover up his intentions, Gives contradictory answers, Believes destruction is “purification”, Sees Londrell as a figure head not a leader, He is an Extreme Threat, Tried to flirt with us… EW, Fanatic, Delusional, 

RAHLEK: (Extremist) RACE: Dragon Shifter INTERVIEW LENGTH: 2hr 55min NOTES: Violent, Aggressive posture, Barely answers questions, Intent is pure chaos, Wants the supernatural realm to fall, He is an Extreme Threat, Pure chaos, No loyalty, No sanity.

SELRA:(envoy member) RACE: Human Mage INTERVIEW LENGTH: 2hr NOTES: Not an extremist, Joined Londrell to escape a debt to a criminal syndicate, Terrified of being found out, Wants peace but fear exposure, She is a Non-Threat, but Unstable, Poor thing is terrified- not of but everything, She’s hiding fear not malice, Needs therapy.

JORREN: (envoy member) RACE: Dragon/Elf Hybrid  INTERVIEW LENGTH: 1hr 10min NOTES: Loyal, Practical, Blunt, Thinks the summit is necessary, Wants the fighting to stop, He is safe, He wants peace more than food.

LYSA: (Neutral) RACE: Human Realm born Elf INTERVIEW LENGTH: 1hr 40min NOTES: Neutral, Doesn’t care about politics, Joined Londrell for protection, Wants to survive nothing more, she is a Low Threat, Possibly slept through half of the interview.

FENRIC: (envoy member) RACE: Wolf Shifter INTERVIEW LENGTH: 2hr NOTES: Loyal but angry, Lost family in past conflicts, Blames the Council not Avery, Wants accountability not destruction, He is safe but volatile, Angry but not with us, He wants justice, His heart is in the right place.

KAELIS: (Spy) RACE: Fae-Blooded Human INTERVIEW LENGTH: 2hr 20min NOTES: Secretly spying for another faction, Not an extremist, Not loyal to Londrell either, Gathering intel for a neutral faction, Security risk, but not violent, Slippery, Keep him away from sensitive information.

BRANN: (envoy member) RACE: Human INTERVIEW LENGTH: 1hr NOTES: Loyal, Believes Londrell is changing, Wants the summit to succeed, He is safe, Sweet, Honest, Believes in Londrell’s growth, We like him.

SIRA: (envoy member) RACE: Witch INTERVIEW LENGTH: 1hr 30min NOTES: Loyal, Calm and thoughtful, Wants unity, She is safe, She is a rare person.

DATHEN: (envoy member) RACE: Shade-touched Wolf Shifter INTERVIEW LENGTH: 2Hr NOTES: Hiding trauma, Not extremist, Afraid of being rejected if people know his past, He is a non-threat, The trauma he is hiding makes us want to hug him.

VELRA: (envoy member) RACE: Wood Elf INTERVIEW LENGTH: 1hr 15min NOTES: Loyal, Believes in diplomacy, Wants the summit to succeed, She is safe, She will help keep the envoy steady.

KORRIN: (envoy member) RACE: Ogre-blooded Elf INTERVIEW LENGTH: 1Hr NOTES: Loyal, Surprisingly gentle, Wants peace, He is safe, A gentle giant, He apologized when his breathing caused our platform shuddered from his breathing.

OVERALL ENVOY ANALYSIS:

After completing all fourteen interviews, we have identified, 

3 Confirmed extremists; Rhalek, Mira, and Torren. All of them pose an immediate threat to the summit, but if we remove them they might move their plans up and cause more damage. We need to adjust accordingly and monitor their every move.

1 Additional security risk, Kaelis. He is a spy for the Human government. He is not violent or a threat. We should find a way to integrate the humans investigation into our own, and try to work together.

2 Unstable but non-violent individuals; Selra and Dathan. They only require extra monitoring, but no other action taken against them.

8 Loyal or neutral member; Varyn, Brann, Jorren, Lysa, Fenric, Sira, Velra and Korrin. They are safe members of the envoy.

FAIRIES RECOMMENDATIONS:

Make adjustments for the three extremists, if we remove them now, it might cause something else to be triggered.

Inform Londrell privately before confronting the extremists.

Monitor Selra and Dathan for emotional instability. They are not violent, but they might leak details unwittingly.

We should be able to proceed with the summit, ONLY if the adjustments we have layed out are addressed and implemented. Avery’s visions were accurate. There is treachery in Londrell’s ranks. 

This Concludes Our Report; Vee, Thistle and Steele.”

The fairies stood together, wings drooping with exhaustion, Vee whispers, “We have done all we can.” Thistle remarks, “ The summit may yet be saved.” They looked toward the door where Londrell waited. Steel speaks up, “Or destroyed.”
