Chapter 32 - Luna

Jana looked up as he saw his older brother walk in. Jana just glared at him and went back to the book he was reading, a hand gently rubbing his tummy.

Antony went and sat behind him and placed his arms around him and hugged him.

Jana scowled. His brother never plays fair. He placed a hand on Antony's hair.

"How is he?" asked Jana leaning back against Antony's chest, making himself comfortable, tucking his head under Antony's chin.

"As well as can be expected, I think. He seems very happy when he is in Ilse," said Antony.

"It is his home. He is the pack's Luna. Of course, he is happier," said Jana.

"Jana, kiddo, you know-

"I know why you are hesitating. I- We all know, Okay! We all heard that day. But that guy was a monster brother, not an Alpha like you. Do you think you who care this much about him would hurt him? Ili told me what happened a few nights ago. You were able to stop yourself when he stopped you. What does that say?" asked Jana.

Antony sighed.

" I don't know," said Antony.

Jana sighed.

"I want to get him gifts before the night of kite festivities. I- I want him to be able to attend it. No Luna has ever missed their first festival. He shouldn't have to," said Antony.

Jana hummed. He raised Antony's hand and placed it on his stomach to finally let the uncle feel his nephew move.

"Get him a promise. Promise him all you can and give him his Luna ring," said Jana.

"Baby is moving. Wow my baby is having the second baby. I must say I still remember the baby you in the cradle when I toddle around," said Antony.

Jana just mock glared at him and settled comfortable against Antony.

"I missed you brother," said Jana.

"I know. I missed you too baby brother," smirked Antony.

"M not a baby," scowled Jana like he has done a million times before.

"Tell him I send him my love," said Jana and he was soon asleep against Antony.

Magnus and Arth were at the door.

"Slept? My god, he was having trouble sleeping for some time now!" said Magnus as he moved a hair from Jana's face.

"Baby brother will come soon," Arth told Antony who smiled.

"Yeah and I will take all my nephews and nieces to Ilse," said Antony.

"Yaya" said Arth happily looking appealingly at Magnus to agree who smiled and nodded.

"If you behave and promise to take care of all the brats like a proper older brother and not be a brat yourself," said Magnus.

"Arth never a brat," said Arth nose in the air and Magnus smiled as he bent down and picked up his oldest who happily settled against his shoulder.

"When is Ili coming back?" asked Arth to Antony who looked stricken at the question.

"I don't know, let's ask your Uncle," said Magnus.

"I don't know," said Antony and looked down.

Carles and Jeev hugged Antony and sent their love for Ili with him too. All three of the Mantini brothers had asked him anything and somehow, he knew that they understand.

Ili scowled as he thought about the night of lights. He won't be able to go. He has heard all sort of stories about the night. But hell if this is how things are going to be, he will never see the night in Ilse.

He did not pay attention as he went into the bath.

Antony was back from the trip and relaxed in his bath. He decided to go see Ili then. He picked the things he had brought for Ili.

He went down to Ili's room. The door was open and he went in. Ili seemed to be in the bath. So he decided to leave the gifts on the bed, except for the two ornaments which he will give directly.

He turned to leave when he heard the bathroom door open and out came Ili.

Antony's mouth went dry for a second as Ili let out a squeak of shock and went for a shirt.

But Antony saw the firmer body, not in a muscled way, but toned, nevertheless. This was no teenager he was looking at. He was looking at a man.

Antony had not had the chance to actually see him when they made out. He had been a mess then. There was chest hair which trailed all the way down to his navel and beyond.

Antony felt his cock stir. He couldn't look away and then Ili wore a shirt and came over to him, cheeks red and looking so adorable as he blushed.

"Alpha," called Ili.

Antony composed himself. He sighed and nodded to the package he left on Ili's bed and said, "It is a traditional attire of Ilse for the night of lights," said Antony.

Ili's eyes widened.

"But Alpha Antony, I can't go," said Ili sitting down on the bed as he uncovered the gift trying not to look too excited but failing because his whole body was vibrating.

"Well, I have a solution for that," said Antony.

Ili looked at him.

Antony sat down in front of Ili.

"Ili you know that I accept you as the Luna of this pack, right?" asked Antony.

Ili nodded.

"So, I have something that belongs to you," said Antony as picked out the Ilse family's Luna ring.

Ili gasped.

"But-

"It is yours. No one else is ever going to get it from me. You are my mate. This is yours," said Antony firmly, his face not betraying any of the emotions.

Ili eyed the ring and a tear drop slid down his eyes. Antony wiped his eyes and Ili leaned himself onto him. Antony took the ring and raised Ili's hand and slid the ring on.

"Ili, you and your kids will have Ilse," said Antony.

Ili sobbed harder.

"Please don't take away the hope with which I live," said Ili.

Antony couldn't say anything more so he just hugged Ili closer.

"And this," he pulled open the next box and took the promise bracelet.

He took the bracelet in it. It was made of platinum.

"This is a promise bracelet for you. It is the protection and claim of the Alpha. You can remove it when you get mated," said Antony tying the bracelet around his hand.

Ili just stood there as Antony wiped his eyes and left a kiss on his forehead.

"Ili, I know you are planning to go back to Hallerbo. Give someone a chance. Santo seems to be really interested. And, whatever you do, wherever you go, know that- know that 'I love you', more than you can imagine. Okay. I am a weak man and I can't- I. Just live happily okay," said Antony and Ili saw the teardrop that slid down his eyes.

Ili wiped the year drop off. He looked at Antony.

"I have known Santo for longer than you Alpha Antony, but he is not my mate and nor do I have any attraction to him or to any other person. You are my Alpha. We both know what will happen to you if you don't mate with your mate or at least someone and manage your power. I know you as much as you know me. I know you don't intend to do it. You want to die? I will follow. I will follow you to death if that is what it takes. And what did you say? My kids? Listen to me Alpha Anthony De Russe, I will carry and birth only your children," said Ili.

Antony saw that the ring and bracelet were glowing, sealing the promise.

"What did you do?" asked Antony looking at Ili exasperated.

"I am 20, Alpha Antony. I can make my own decisions," said Ili.

Antony looked at Ili in shock.

"You can't-" he couldn't find the words.

"I just did," said Ili showing up his hand and turned away.

Antony walked out.
