Chapter 155: So What?
Chapter 155: So What?
"Deal!" Leonardo shot back at Alvin's bet without a second thought.
He didn't have much of a choice. Even though he knew they were gonna get their butts kicked given their current state, there was no other way out. Michelangelo was already scared stiff!
Alvin gave a nod of approval and said, "Alright then, I gotta hand it to you for your guts. But you all look like you've been through the wringer, so I'll give you a day to bounce back.
Of course, it has to be here. Hope you don't mind the chill."
As he spoke, Alvin pulled out that nasty little bottle from his pocket and waved it in front of Leonardo with a wicked grin.
Under everyone's horrified stares, Alvin unscrewed the cap, held his breath for ten seconds, then quickly screwed it back on and called Frank and the others to leave the cold storage.
After finding something to block the cold storage door, Alvin turned around and saw Samuel.
Annoyed, Alvin gave him a kick in the leg, thinking his boss was a real piece of work. Didn't he want his paycheck anymore?
With a stern face, Alvin told Samuel, "You stay here and keep an eye on them. Don't let these kids make a run for it."
Samuel wasn't too thrilled. The smell in there was rank, and even with the AC cranked up, it still stank. But as a worker, he had no say. He had just been cursing his boss, and now it looked like he was stuck with this job.
Samuel nodded, went to the first floor to grab a chair, and sat with his back against the cold storage door. He looked all serious and dedicated, like a model employee. But judging by his twitching nose, he was probably feeling pretty miserable.
Alvin nodded in satisfaction and called Frank and the others to head upstairs. There was still a ton of stuff to do at home.
By now, it was full daylight. The group split up to clean themselves up, packed their clothes in plastic bags, found a big trash can, poured gasoline on it, and burned everything to a crisp.
Just then, Tony called Alvin.
Alvin reluctantly picked up the phone. A call from Tony at this time was definitely not gonna be good news.
Sure enough, "Alvin, I heard your place got hit by a stink bomb. How's it going? Haha!" Tony said, clearly enjoying himself.
Alvin, a bit ticked off, wanted to hang up. Putting up with Tony's snarky comments was no fun. But what was Ginny doing at Tony's place? He had to ask.
"Did Megan and the others go to your place?"
Tony laughed heartily and said, "Yep, they're all here at my Long Island estate. You know the spot.
No hotel would take them in, so good ol' Mr. Stark had to step in, especially since Ginny is my goddaughter, right? Haha!"
Alvin let out a sigh of relief and said, "Let them crash with you for a few days. Tell them they can come back once I get rid of this god-awful smell. I need to clean up here; it's a real mess!"
Tony happily said, "No problem, buddy. Need any help? The Stark Group has a bio department. I remember they came up with a super deodorizer a while back. That stuff should help with your problem."
Alvin's eyes lit up, and he said excitedly, "What are you waiting for? Send it over. The smell here is driving me nuts."
Tony chuckled smugly and said, "See, Mr. Stark is always ahead of the game. I bought the patent for that stuff. Maybe this incident will help it find a market.
Pepper once said it was useless. Now it's time to prove my point!"
Alvin, a bit impatient, said, "Alright, Mr. Stark, hurry up and help. For God's sake, I need you!"
Tony was pleased with Alvin's attitude, but doing the deodorizing work himself was out of the question.
Tony smugly said, "Are you kidding? I wouldn't go near a place that smells like a sewer. I'll send someone over, buddy. Hang in there! Haha!"
Alvin angrily hung up the phone. Seeing that the stuff in the oil drum was almost burned, he called someone to get a few garbage trucks.
Alvin was ready to head back to his room and chuck out all the clothes. Anything that had even a whiff of that stench, except for the house itself, was getting the boot! After all, the little turtles would be footing the bill in the end, right?
As he turned back to the restaurant, the old man who got beat up last night came hobbling over from a distance. Seeing the confident look on his face, Alvin really didn't want to deal with him.
This old blind dude had some serious psychological and mental issues. It didn't suit Alvin's status as a principal to keep butting heads with him.
The old man greeted Alvin from afar. How he knew it was Alvin was anyone's guess.
Alvin patiently waited for him, deciding to have a quick chat so the old man wouldn't bug him again.
"This is the Handshake Association's attack method. They are inhumane, extremely cruel, and unscrupulous! I hope you can cooperate with me. We can eliminate the Handshake Association together!"
Stick's "I'm doing this for your own good" attitude rubbed Alvin the wrong way. How could someone who still owed money act like a savior? He couldn't even beat the waiters in Alvin's restaurant!
Alvin knew there must be some misunderstanding because the culprits were locked in his cold storage. There were indeed Handshake Association assassins last night, but except for one woman who escaped, the other assassins were toast.
But Alvin thought, why should I explain to you? You're not my kid.
Impatiently waving his hand, he signaled Stick to scram.
Seeing no reaction, Alvin remembered he was blind, so he said in a more caring tone, "Go home! We don't need your help here. I'm super busy, and you, as a disabled person, shouldn't cause trouble!
If you have info on the Handshake Association, spill it, and I'll take them out! In this regard, I don't mind being used. The Handshake Association folks definitely deserve to die!"
Stick was fuming at Alvin's rudeness, but after getting his butt handed to him yesterday, he didn't have the guts to make a move.
He could only tap the ground heavily with his cane and angrily said, "You will regret this. I have reliable info that the Handshake Association has sent their ultimate weapon, 'Black Void,' this time.
Ordinary people can't fight 'Black Void.' It has nothing to do with your skills. 'Black Void' is immune to physical attacks!"
Alvin looked at the old blind man in front of him, puzzled by what made him so cocky. It seemed like without him, no one could deal with the Handshake Association.
But you've been fighting the Handshake Association for so long, and they haven't been affected much. They've still done plenty of bad things.
To Alvin, the Handshake Association was just another gang, maybe a bit bigger with some weird methods.
But so what? If Japan weren't so far and the plane tickets weren't expensive, Alvin would have gone to mess with them himself.
The principal was too busy. It took nearly twenty days to find Botu. Asking him to travel thousands of miles to Japan to mess with a gang was impossible. The thing they wanted was underground at the school, so why not wait for these scumbags to come to him?
The so-called "Black Void" the old blind man mentioned was probably the girl in the suit who was puking last night. Besides her escape skills, Alvin didn't see anything impressive about her.
Being able to emit black mist was impressive? It just made her immune to physical attacks, but she couldn't even handle a bit of stench. How could she be a qualified "ultimate" weapon?
That girl had already shown her cards here. If she showed up again, she would definitely lose her life. Alvin already had some plans to deal with her.
Looking at Stick, Alvin was really tired of dealing with him. He coldly said, "Stick, this is my turf. No one can mess with me here without paying the price. No exceptions.
If I were you, I'd think more about myself. Since this 'Black Void' is so powerful, why don't you prepare yourself?
The world is beautiful. Isn't it good to stay alive?"
