Dom's Absolution

In the shadowed streets of Aelbank City, the enigmatic and powerful Dominic Calvetti reigns supreme. Known for his ruthless tactics and a mysterious skin condition that marks him as much as his reputation, Dominic, an Italian mafia boss with a penchant for pyrotechnics, navigates a life shaped by a dark and tumultuous past. Intimacy and relationships are territories he avoids, keeping his heart as guarded as his dealings are fierce. Enter Jade, a young woman with her own scars, whom Dominic had once rescued from dire circumstances. Years later, Jade finds herself irresistibly drawn to the man who saved her. She's grown, changed, and begins to see Dominic not just as her savior, but as something more. Her sudden interest in him sparks a complicated dance of emotions and intentions. Dominic, though he maintains a hard exterior, harbors a protective soft spot for Jade, hinting at a depth of feeling he seldom acknowledges. Sensing a faint spark between them, Jade is determined to ignite it into a flame. Despite Dominic's damaged nature, or perhaps because of it, she believes they both deserve the chance to explore the pull of these nascent feelings. As they cautiously circle each other, the dangers of Dominic’s underworld threaten not just their tentative relationship, but their very lives. Will the fire they kindle burn bright enough to light their way, or will it consume everything they hold dear in the violent world of organized crime? In this game of love and loyalty, Dominic and Jade must decide if what they find in each other is worth the risk, or if some distances are too great to bridge—even for the sake of love.
