I wake up and Dean isn't beside me but I when I hear a little sound in the bathroom I knew he was in there.
Last night was mind blowing, Dean did things to me that had me nearly passing out from pleasure.
We both didn't leave this room, the only time I had to say anything to anyone was to Anne, she had knocked to ask if we'd have dinner and of course I dismissed her, we've both had our fill and by the time I had my sixth orgasm, we were both tired out and could barely stomach anything.
Stretching, I'm about to get up when he saunters out of the bathroom, fully dressed.
"You're awake," he says, a smile finding it's way to his face. "I didn't want to disrupt your sleep, seeing you needed rest after….," he winks, pausing halfway.
My face feels like volcano and I could barely hide it from him. "You're ready to go?" I manage to ask through a shy smile and he nods.
"Yup, but I asked Anne to whip up something for you," he says and almost immediately a knock comes to the door. "I guess she's here," he says, his eyes snapping to the door.
Anne walks in with a tray containing a cup of tea, toasted bread and some scrambled eggs. I could hear my stomach grumble at the sight of it.
Anne has a big grin as she places the tray down and turns to me. "I'll be downstairs if you need anything," she looks a lot more cheerful and I obviously know why.
"Thank you Anne, that'd be all." I say and she gives a polite nod before walking away.
Dean walks over to me, wearing a big grin and I get a whiff of his cologne. He leans in and gives me a quick kiss on the lips and when I rolled my eyes at him. "Good morning kiss, baby." He says with a lopsided smile.
Again, my cheeks heats up, and I could feel the wild flutter in my stomach.
I peer up at him with a smile and say. "Aren't you eating something before leaving?" I raise my brow.
He pulls my teacup and takes a short sip, dropping it back down he replies. "I'd have loved to baby, but I have an urgent stuff to take care of," he says, leaning to kiss my forehead. "I promise to have breakfast with you next time," he says with a guilty smirk.
I put my arms around his neck and kissed him. "I understand, don't worry about it, see you after work then?" I say earnestly, lifting my brows.
He nods and goes silent for a second and then he blurted out. "I want to make up for yesterday, babe. Can l?" I roll my eyes, confused. "For not being here in time when I should. Let's have dinner tomorrow?" He has this look, like he's really hoping I'd say yes.
Having dinner with my husband is something I always anticipated for back then, like hell my body is itching to jump on the offer but I need him to know that him not being here at the time was never an issue.
I knew he was out of town for business, how could I possibly hold that against him?
I exhaled and shoot him a look. "Don't blame yourself for something you had no control over, none of us planned for any of this to happen," I say, holding his gaze and then he nods.
"You're right,"
Only then did a big smile spread across my face. "And yes, I'd love to have that dinner with my husband," I say with a smile on. "So, where exactly are we going?"
He smirks and straightened up. "I'm afraid you'll have to wait and see, Mrs. Brennan," he says with a smile that has my heart throbbing.
I watch Dean walk away. There's a noticeable spring in his step, a little too excited. He seems almost giddy.
It brings nothing but a smile to my face.

I had called Humphrey to put things in place before I get to the office, I'd be addressing the press, this wouldn't be like the last time where I ran from my freaking problem.
This time is different and I can't let bunch of strangers who doesn't know the whole story say shits about my wife.
I normally wouldn't bother if this was about me, I and Ethan handle the sting of tabloids better than most.
But this is about Bella, the woman I love the most in the entire world.
I walk into my penthouse, not surprised to see Ethan sitting on the couch with a glass of whiskey in hand.
I glance at my rolex and blanch.
"Really?" I roll my eyes at him and he smirks, not because he's here, but a glass of whiskey, this early?
"Well, if you had taken any of my calls, maybe I'd be in my office, having coffee instead of whiskey," he quips back. "By the way, this house sucks, couldn't even find anything in the fridge, you need help around here, man." he observes, but I don't miss the sarcasm in his tone.
He might be right, I've thought about getting someone to help around the house, but what's the point?
After Bella left, her scent was still over my penthouse and that bothers on with my misery then.
I wanted every trance of her removed from my life, so mother had the house cleaned and I insisted on having Bella's stuff moved to the guest room instead of discarding them.
Mother wasn't so fond of that decision but she let it go eventually.
Now, this place reeks of zero warmth, it was as if Bella took it's warmth along with her, I see it as more of a shelter than a home.
Thinking about it now, gets me so pissed at myself, the guilt still hits me like a mallet to my chest but now I know better.
I'd better place back her stuffs where it ought to be.
"Thank you for reminding me how pathetic my life has been," I scoff and shake my head, putting my suit jacket away and shrugging into the couch beside him.
The corner of his mouth lifts in amusement and he leans back on the sofa. "You're most definitely welcomed," he takes another sip, bringing his glass down he looks at me with a smirk. "I take it that you're coming from Bella's?" He said it more as a statement than a question.
I nod. "Yeah, I had to be sure she was okay,"
"Sure you were," he grins, his eyes flickering on my neck and I get the hint.
He had obviously seen the marks and bites there.
I roll my eyes at him. "Shut up," I say with a grin.
He bites back a response and chuckles but I see something in his eyes.
I give him a look. "What's with you though," I say, knowing Ethan all too well. "You can't tell me you're here this early just because you're worried about me asshole,"
He narrows his eyes at me and sighs. "Natasha seems to think we're in some sort of relationship, she's awfully too clingy," he says like he just doesn't get it.
I blanch at that. "You can't blame her though. You never fuck same woman twice, Ethan. But you have with her, countless times, what's going on?" I have been meaning to ask anyways. "Are you looking to starting—,"
He glares at me. "Don't," he cuts me off. "I'm not into her like that, she's just good in the other— if you no what I mean, reminds me of that night and at first she seemed to get her shit together, not running after me like other girls do, but then she's been acting up, shows up uninvited, calls too often, you know how much I hate that, and —-,"
The buzzing of my phone silences him and when I take a look, it's Arthur calling.
I give Ethan a look that suggests it's urgent I take the call and he nods.
"Yes?"
Everything else he said blurs into nothingness until he said. "The person behind the leaked photos is Eric Scott," he had said while I'm left reeling.
I had to stand up and pace the floor to get rid of the feeling threatening to pull me under.
I did the fucking mathematics myself, if Eric Scott, the CEO of Dynamite, Brenco's greatest rival was the one that leaked those photos to the tabloids, he had only one aim, to get to me.
This means mother had absolutely nothing to do with it as it'd have affected Brenco otherwise.
I grip my phone tighter. There's only one question hammering at the back of my head.
How did Eric get the photos?
I have only one suspect in mind.
Ashley the fucking Thompson!
