Chapter 153: Want to Relive It?

Chapter 153 Want to Relive It?

After getting Donald's response, Robert felt relieved and entered Crown Hill Estates.

Alaric was in his study reviewing today's documents.

Robert glanced at the chicken soup that had just been sent over from the restaurant and properly went over to clean it up and dispose of it.

"Mr. Hughes."

Robert spoke softly.

But Alaric didn't even look up. Without sparing him a glance, he said coldly.

"You can go."

Robert nodded and left respectfully.

Cordelia pulled her car into a parking spot by the roadside and got out carrying the oatmeal porridge Donald had prepared.

Robert's car happened to be pulling out of Crown Hill Estates just then.

When he saw Cordelia, he wanted to greet her, but worried that she might not want to deliver the oatmeal porridge herself, so he dismissed the thought and sped away.

Seeing Robert leave, Cordelia raised an eyebrow slightly and glanced at the oatmeal porridge in her hand, finding it particularly hot to hold.

She walked over to the security booth.

The guard was on the phone, so Cordelia waited quietly to the side.

"Okay, I understand." The guard replied respectfully and politely to the person on the phone, then hung up. He looked at Cordelia and directly opened the gate for her.

"Ms. Stone."

The guard's expression was very polite.

Cordelia smiled faintly and said softly, "This is oatmeal porridge my father prepared for Alaric. I have to go back to the hospital urgently, so I can't deliver it to him myself. Could you please pass it along for me?"

As Cordelia spoke, she was about to place the oatmeal porridge on the desk.

The guard immediately stopped her.

"I'm sorry, Ms. Stone, but I can't leave my post during work hours."

"Last time, one of my colleagues got fired for leaving his post. Please don't make things difficult for a working man like me."

Seeing the panic on his face and how troubled he looked, Cordelia composed herself and said softly.

"I'm sorry, I didn't know about your work rules."

"Then I'll deliver it myself."

Hearing this, the guard nodded with a respectful and polite attitude.

"Take care."

Cordelia returned a faint smile and walked into Crown Hill Estates.

As soon as she entered the elevator, Robert's call came through.

Cordelia looked at Robert's incoming call and answered.

"Robert, what's up?"

Robert paused for a few seconds on his end, then said softly, "Dr. Stone, when you get upstairs, just enter the password and go inside."

"Mr. Hughes is working. After you go in, just put down the oatmeal porridge and leave."

Alaric wasn't in a good mood.

Robert felt guilty about putting Cordelia in this position and was afraid that Cordelia and Alaric might get into an argument, so he could only tell Cordelia to just put down the porridge and leave.

Cordelia responded softly, agreeing, "Okay."

Cordelia knew Alaric's work habits. When they were still married, if Alaric was working at Garden Vista Estates, he absolutely wouldn't allow anyone to disturb him.

He really liked quiet, which is why Crown Hill Estates didn't even have any servants.

Back at Garden Vista Estates, they only had Saskia as their one servant.

Robert said some grateful words on his end, then ended the call.

Cordelia had just reached Alaric's floor.

She walked to the door and entered the password. Seeing the door pop open, she felt inexplicably nervous.

She took a deep breath and walked inside carrying the oatmeal porridge.

This was her third time here. While she couldn't say she was unfamiliar with the decor and furnishings, she wasn't familiar with them either.

She didn't even know which room was the study.

Cordelia placed the oatmeal porridge on the coffee table in the living room. Just as she was about to leave, she saw Alaric walking out from inside, fresh from washing up.

He was holding a towel in one hand, drying his short hair.

His body was only wrapped in a white bath towel, down to his waist.

His solid muscles were exposed to the air, and his attractive Adonis belt extended downward.

With a body like that, anyone would can't help but take a few extra looks.

So Cordelia couldn't help but look a few more times too.

After all, Alaric had once, briefly, belonged to her.

Perhaps it was hormones rapidly secreting in her mind, because after looking twice, she couldn't help sneaking a few more glances.

When Alaric saw Cordelia standing in the living room, his deep eyes flickered slightly, but he quickly regained his composure.

Cordelia secretly swallowed and said softly.

"This is oatmeal porridge my dad asked me to bring you."

"He specially cooked it for a long time just for you. Remember to drink it while it's hot."

After Cordelia finished speaking, she moved to leave.

But Alaric directly blocked her path.

Cordelia looked at the solid and particularly tempting muscles in front of her, her heart pounding.

She was a normal woman. It was perfectly normal to enjoy looking at men with good bodies.

Besides, this man with an excellent body was Alaric.

Alaric looked down at Cordelia standing in front of him but not meeting his eyes, his gaze darkening.

Her eyes moved down from his body. Alaric couldn't help but laugh coldly.

"What, don't Thomas and Dominic have bodies like this?"

Cordelia shook her head slightly. She had never seen Thomas and Dominic's bodies, so how would she know if they had such good physiques?

Seeing her shake her head, Alaric's expression darkened a bit more, his handsome face turning cold.

After shaking her head, she realized she had been looking too long and Alaric had caught her, so she slowly looked away and said, "Drink the oatmeal porridge while it's hot."

She was about to leave after speaking, but Alaric grabbed her wrist and pulled hard.

Cordelia was completely unprepared. With his sudden forceful pull, she fell onto the sofa.

Before she could recover from the sudden loss of balance, Alaric's overwhelming kiss suddenly came, giving her no chance to react at all.

His kiss was dominating and aggressive, as if he wanted to devour her completely.

When Cordelia came to her senses, she felt like she was suffocating.

She stared blankly at Alaric, who was so close, her heart pounding like thunder.

After a good while, Alaric finally released her.

His hands were propped on the sofa, looking down at her, asking with wicked amusement.

"What about their kissing skills? Are they as good as mine?"

His deep eyes held arrogance and some mockery, his face full of mischief.

"In bed? I bet their performance doesn't satisfy you either, does it?"

Cordelia paused. Hearing his dirty talk, her expression froze and she didn't answer.

Alaric laughed coldly.

"Looks like they're not as good as me."

Cordelia suppressed the stirring in her heart and said flatly.

"What, is sexual ability the only thing Mr. Hughes has to offer?"

Alaric's eyes darkened. He smiled coldly, his straight nose touching Cordelia's delicate little nose.

"Looks like you still don't understand men very well."

As Alaric spoke, he reached one hand directly under Cordelia and with one motion, lifted her up, bringing her body close to his.

"Cordelia, I haven't touched you in three years. Want to relive old times?"
