Chapter 363: Dwarf

Chapter 363: Dwarf

The driver laughed giving her a thumbs up. "Miss Becky, with that attitude of yours, you're going to do just great."

Being praised made her happy, and Becky laughed too.

They soon arrived at school.

As soon as the driver stopped the car, Becky could not wait to get out first. The two other guys who had introduced themselves to her in the car had already gotten out halfway to avoid drawing attention and would get to school by other means.

Becky said goodbye to the driver and was about to enter school with her backpack when she saw a stretch Lincoln parked at the school gate. She recognized it as Andy's family car and, excited, stopped to wait for him.

Inside the Lincoln, Andy watched Becky through the black-tinted window.

The driver in front took off his sunglasses and frowned. "You're making too slow progress. It's been two weeks and you still haven't gotten Becky to agree to go out with you alone. If we had known it would be this hard to get her out of Majestic City, we would have taken her during that field trip."

Andy's face showed a coldness that did not belong to a child. "Wait a bit longer. I've already done a lot to gain the trust of her whole family. At least Becky and Arabella now trust me now. Making a move during the field trip definitely wouldn't have worked. If we try anything in Majestic City, there's no way we'll leave alive. You're thinking too simply about Alexander."

The driver in front sneered. "But you've already wasted too much time. Have you gotten addicted to being an elementary school student? Have you forgotten you're a man in his twenties? Dwarf?"

Anger immediately flooded Andy's face. "Shut up, Desmond! By seniority, I am your senior brother!"

Desmond laughed disdainfully. "Ha, senior brother? Our godfather adopted over a dozen of us kids, but he never ranked us by seniority! Whoever is the most capable becomes the senior brother. The fact is, you're just useless."

Andy stared at him with icy eyes. " Give me a few more days. I'll definitely find a way to get her out of Majestic City."

Desmond sneered. "I hope so. Just don't drag me down. When you fail, I definitely don't want to get punished by Godfather too."

He glanced at Becky outside, who was waiting anxiously, and sneered again. "Your good friend is waiting for you outside. Go find her."

Andy looked at him with darkly. Then opened the door and got out.

The moment he stepped out of the car, all the gloom and coldness on his face disappeared completely, leaving only a child's lightness and innocence. Seeing Becky, he waved excitedly. "Becky! Did you just get here too?"

Becky hurried over and nodded with a smile. "Yeah, I just arrived. I happened to see your family's car. What were you doing in the car for so long?"

Andy sighed. "Don't even ask. My homework got stuck in the seat crack. It took me forever to find it."

"Good thing you found it," Becky said as she turned toward the school. She didn't mention anything about the two teachers and called to Andy, "Hurry up!"

When they got to the classroom, Andy first turned in his homework to the class representative, then returned to his seat and asked Becky, "Are you really going to Seaside City this weekend?"

Becky nodded happily. "Yeah, Miss Bourbon already agreed. She's taking me because I like it there. She thinks it's not safe for me to go aloneso she's coming with me.''

Andy asked with some concern, "Didn't you say she's pregnant? Are just the two of you going? Won't that be inconvenient? Mr. FitzRoy send someone to escort you?"

Becky thought for a moment and shook her head. "I don't know. Mr. FitzRoy is abroad right now and probably can't make it back by the weekend, so he definitely won't be coming with us."

Andy heaved a sigh of relief. "Then I'II go with you. I'll bring the bodyguards my dad arranged for me. We can look out for each other on the way. When we get off the plane, my dad will arrange transportation and accommodation."

Becky paused and said, "Hmm...I'II have to ask Miss Bourbon first."

Andy seemed a little impatient. "Why do you have to ask Miss Bourbon about everything? You're old enough now and you're part of the family. Can't you make decision about something this small?"

Becky said matter-of-factly, "I'm a kid. Why should I make decisions about family matters?"

Andy looked defeated. "Fine. Then ask Ms. Bourbon. Ever since you said you wanted to go to Seaside City, the museum doesn't interest me anymore.

Becky didn't think much of it and nodded in agreement.

Class started, and an unfamiliar teacher walked in. "Hello, everyone. Your ELA teacher has been transferred by the Education Bureau. Starting today, I'll be your new ELA teacher. My name is Noah Hayes. You can call me Mr. Hayes ."

Noah looked like a clean-cut young man, quite handsome. When the students heard he would be their teacher, they were all happy.

Andy stared at him for a while without showing any emotion. Then he said quietly to Becky, "The new ELA teacher is pretty handsome. Do you know him?"

Becky looked puzzled. "How would I know the new teacher?"

This was someone Mr. FitzRoy had arranged to come, but even if Becky knew him, she wouldn't say so.

The more people who knew, the greater the danger of exposure. Even with her good friend, Becky kept it strictly confidential.

Andy saw that she didn't seem to be lying and felt relieved.

At the same time, at the company, Arabella was almost being sidelined by the two people Alexander had arranged.

It was the first time she realized that Alexander's bodyguards had such strong work abilities.

Even though it was their first day at work, they handle everything and organized things perfectly. Arabella had originally planned to go out and meet a client today, but the two bodyguards took over that task as well. By noon, they returned with good news—they had successfully signed the client.

Arabella felt that if they kept working long-term, she might end up unemployed.

Just before lunch break ended, Roy suddenly called. His voice sounded somewhat anxious. "Mrs. FitzRoy, has Flora contacted you?"

Arabella looked confused. "No, didn't you say she went on a mission? Is she back already?"

Hearing her answer, Roy heart sink. He didn't have the energy to explain further and simply said . ''If Flora contacts you, please let me know."
