Sunlight streaming through the window woke me up. For a moment I didn't know where I was. Then I felt the warmth of Calum's body beside me and everything from last night came rushing back

My face burned hot immediately, I still couldn't get used to it

We had actually done it, we had crossed that final line

The same line we'd sworn to never cross

Gosh! It was laughable how we couldn't even last three weeks

I shifted slightly and immediately regretted it

My whole body ached in places I didn't even know could ache, especially between my legs

"Morning, cutie" Calum's voice was vibrated beside me, completely rough with sleep as his arm tightened around my waist

"Morning" I answered, turning my head to look at him

"How do you feel?" He asked, pressing his lips on my forehead, I smiled softly and snuggled into him

"Hm! I feel sore all over"
He chuckled softly, moved his lips pressed a kiss to my shoulder

"That's normal, cutie, but It'll get better"
I turned in his arms to face him. His hair was messy and he had stubble on his jaw

He looked different like this, less like the cold professor and more like just a man

A beat of silence passed, then he sucked in a deep breath

Almost as if he was hesitant or nervous

My heart swelled in a small satisfaction, the Almighty Professor Callum was nervous?

After another beat, he finally spoke
"No regrets?" I almost laughed at that question, then thought about it more carefully

I shook my head
"No regrets"
He smiled and it transformed his whole face

"Possessive much?" I asked, wiggling my brows

I felt heat pooling in my belly despite the soreness

"I can't, Callum, I'm too sore" I laughed, lightly pushing his hand away

We lay there for a while longer. Just holding each other and It felt peaceful

But reality came crashing back when the pounding of footsteps reached our ears

"Shit," I sat up quickly "What time is it?"
Calum glanced at the clock

"Six thirty"

"Madelyn will be up soon, I need to get back to my room" I scrambled out of bed and looked around for my nightgown

Calum watched me with amusement

"You know she's going to figure it out eventually," he said

"Not today she won't" I found my nightgown and pulled it on. My panties were somewhere but I couldn't find them in my panic

"Looking for these?" Calum held up my underwear on his index fingertip with a smirk

"Give them to me" I said sharply, palming my face halfway

"Why don't you come get them?" His brows quirked up

He was clearly enjoying this

"Calum I'm serious"

"So am I, pumpkin” I walked over to the bed and reached for them but he pulled me down onto his lap instead

"One more kiss," he said and without waiting for a response, latched on me

One kiss turned into three more… three turned into five

By the time I finally made it back to my room it was almost seven

I quickly changed into my uniform and tried to make myself look presentable. My hair was a mess and my lips were swollen but there was nothing I could do about that

When I went downstairs Madelyn was already in the kitchen

"You're late," she said without looking up, but I could feel the anger radiating off her

"I'm…I'm sorry, I overslept"

“Mm-hmm!" She gave me a look that made me nervous "You look different"

"Different how?" I asked too quickly

"I don't know, you tell me" she shot, then went back to preparing breakfast without waiting for my response

"Anyway, the master wants his breakfast early today, he has important meetings"

"Okay" I replied simply

I prepared Calum's breakfast and brought it to the dining room. He was already there reading something on his tablet

When he saw me his eyes heated and I felt my face flush

"Thank you Diana," he said formally

"You're welcome sir" I turned to leave but his voice stopped me

"Diana?"

"Yes sir?"

"You forgot something in my room this morning"

My eyes went wide as I turned around to scan the hallways, trying to make sure no one was within earshot

I passed him a pointed look, but he didn't care, he still had that dirty smirk on his face

Was he really going to do this now?

"I'll make sure to return it to you later," he continued "Privately of course"
I fled the dining room before I could combust from embarrassment

The rest of the morning passed in a blur. I did my chores while trying not to think about last night and how it felt.l

About how much I wanted to do it again despite the soreness

By the time I left for campus I was a mess of conflicting emotions

Classes were uneventful… thank goddess!

I kept my head down and tried to focus

But my mind kept wandering

I was walking to my next class when someone fell into step beside me

"Hey stranger"
I looked up to see Kieran smiling at me

"Oh! Hey Kieran" I responded curtly, not slowing my steps

He kept up with my pace, not talking for a while

"You've been avoiding me," he said finally "I texted you yesterday and you didn't respond"

"Sorry, I've just been busy" came my another very curt response

"Too busy for your friend?" He bumped my shoulder

"Come on, let me buy you lunch, we can catch up" I hesitated

After everything with Calum I felt guilty even talking to Kieran

"I don't know"

"Please? I promise I'll be good" He gave me puppy dog eyes "No weird questions this time okay? Just two friends having lunch" I stopped to study his face very carefully

I wanted to decline, but then again he was really my only friend

Really my only connection outside Callum

"Okay…Fine" We went to the campus cafeteria and got food. Kieran talked about his classes and some drama with his roommate

Normal things

It felt good to just be normal for a bit
"So how are things with your boss?" he asked casually

I tensed "Fine. Why?"

"Just wondering, you seemed stressed about him before" he shrugged

"Everything's fine now, we talked things out and he's giving me a free hand now"

"Oh! I'm glad that's so good, it means we can get to hang out more" He smiled but something in his eyes made me think he knew more than he was letting on

"You deserve to be happy Diana"

"Thanks"
We finished lunch and went our separate ways. I had Calum's photography class next

When I walked into the classroom he was already there. Our eyes met and I felt electricity shoot through me

I quickly looked away and took my seat

The lecture felt like it lasted forever. Every time I looked up Calum was watching me, the heat in his gaze made me squirm in my seat

When class finally ended everyone filed out but I stayed behind like always and followed him to his office

The moment the door closed Calum was on me

He backed me against his desk and kissed me hard

"I've been thinking about you all day," he said against my lips

"Calum someone could come in"

"I locked the door"

His hands slid under my shirt and I gasped

This was crazy

We were in his office in the middle of the day

But I couldn't bring myself to care no matter how much I wanted to

His mouth moved to my neck while his hands explored my body. I gripped his shoulders and tried not to moan too loudly

"I want you again," he said "Tonight, my room"

"I'm still sore"

"I'll be gentle, I promise" His teeth grazed my pulse point

"Please"

I kissed him back in response, fisting his hair in my fingers

He pulled back and grinned "good to know you're just as naughty as I am"

I was about to respond when there was a knock on the door

I quickly straightened my clothes while Calum walked to the

"Come in," he called

The door opened and another professor poked his head in

"Blackwood, do you have a minute?"

"Of course. Diana was just leaving"
I grabbed my bag and hurried out

My heart was pounding and my whole body felt hot

This was getting dangerous. We were taking too many risks
