Chapter 40

Vivianna

Excitement coursed through me as Angelo stood behind me. Something in his voice screamed that he was upset. I wonder who the guest was. His rough voice hissed. “I believe you have a punishment to receive, little girl.”

“Do your worst,” I whispered.

I wasn’t sure what he was going to do to me. Instantly, my head was yanked back by my hair. Angelo forced me to look him in the eyes and darkened his eyes. “Spread your thighs more. I want to be balls deep inside you.”

I spread my thighs, desperate for him to slam into me. I waited for him to slide inside me, but nothing happened. Maybe he’s making me wait as punishment.

“Angelo?” I asked.

“I’m sorry, this isn’t right.”

“Are you breaking up with me?”

“No!” Angelo blurted out, “I mean, I’m upset. I shouldn’t do this when I’m angry. You’re still my Queen.”

Angelo laid on the bed and pulled me into his chest. “What happened?”

“My-my father came to see me. I-I wanted to kill him.”

“But you didn’t.” I finished for him.

“No. I wanted him to hurt the way he hurt my mother. I still do.”

I cupped his face and whispered. “Then, show him how it feels. Hurt him the way he did to you and your mother.”

Angelo's face contorts from anger to pain. He frowned as a single tear ran down his cheek. I wiped it away and kissed him. He deepened the kiss, thrusting his tongue into my mouth. His hands brush against my breasts, sliding them down to my waist. Goosebumps begin to rise as he tugs on the nipple clamps.

“Mmm, Angelo.” I whimpered.

Angelo tugged harder one last time, before jerking me on his lap. I gasped when he slammed into me and groaned. “Fuck, Vivianna. See what you do to me.”

My hands trailed down my neck and pulled on the clamps. I craved the pain. It felt so good as Angelo thrust into me. Again. Harder. Faster. It only made me pull harder. Angelo reached between my legs and circled my clit.

“Oh, Daddy. I need more.” I cried out as I felt myself reaching the edge.

“That’s a good girl, come on Daddy’s dick.”

“Oh. Oh. Oh. Don’t stop—please don’t stop, Daddy.”

Angelo gripped the back of my neck and crushed his lips against his as my walls tightened around his cock. Our tongues flicked against each other as he spilled inside me. My thighs quivered, another wave of pleasure rushing through me.

“Damn, babygirl. That was amazing—so good.” Angelo whispered, pressing his forehead against mine.

“I love you, Angelo.”

“I love you too, sweetheart. I can’t wait until you become my wife.”

Angelo led me into the club and leaned over to whisper in my ear. “You look beautiful tonight, sweetheart.”

Angelo stopped at the large table and pulled out a chair. I sat down and he pushed it towards the table. I looked up, meeting my brother’s gaze. He smiled at me, then nodded to Angelo. To his right, Mileena sat next to him. To his left Ivana, looked over to me and smiled. Angelo placed his hands on my shoulders and cleared his throat. “May I have your attention everyone? This is a celebration to announce my engagement to Vivianna. Soon, she will become my wife and your new Queen.”

Angelo reached over me and picked up a flute of wine. He raised his glass and smiled. “A toast to family and new beginnings.”

Matteo grinned and raised his glass. “To family, friends, and a celebration to the new Queen.”

Angelo took a seat next to me and set his glass down. He glanced at me and took a deep breath. I nodded as I placed my hand on his thigh, giving him a sign of reassurance. Angelo met Matteo’s eyes and said. “On to other news, I want my father brought to me. Matteo, it’s time I make my father pay for betraying my mother. God bless her soul. She was a good woman.”

“Boss?”

“Matteo, I want you and Vito to search the city until he’s found. He must pay for the death of Mary Valentino.”

“When do we start?”

“Tonight. I want you to bring him to me. Alive.”

“I’m confused. I thought you wanted him to die.” Matteo replied.

“His death falls at my hands. My father is mine—to torture and kill.”

“Yes, boss.”

Ivana broke the silence. “So, when’s the wedding?”

“Right after I kill my father. By the end of the week, Vivianna will officially be Vivianna Valentino.”

Angelo

The more I think of my father, the angrier I get. I can’t get the thought of how he hurt me. Hurt my mother. I pace my office and clench my fists. I’ve sent Vivianna shopping with Ivana and Mileena. Vito also sent Sabina to get herself a dress for the upcoming wedding. Turning to face Vito, I say. “Go get the basement ready. I want it prepared for my father’s arrival.”

Vito nods and steps out of the room. I walk towards the bar and pour myself a drink. Picking up the glass, I gulp down the contents and let the burn slide down my throat. If I’m going to torture my father, I’m going to need to calm myself down. Because, if I don’t—I might kill him before I make him suffer.

Leaning on the bar, I lean my head back and close my eyes. I can still remember the day my mother died like yesterday.

“Mama, please don’t leave me.” I cried as she pulled me in for a hug.

“Sweetheart, my sweet boy, I’ll always be with you. In your heart.” My mother stroked my head and gasped for air.

I looked up at her and held the tears back. I needed to be strong for both of us. She leaned in and whispered. “Son, I want you to promise me something. Promise me when the time is right, you’ll avenge me. You can’t let your father control you as he did me. The car accident wasn’t an accident. That night, he threatened to kill me if I left him. When I tried to hit the brakes, I knew. He cut the brake lines.”

“Mama, you’re strong. You won’t—”

I let the tears fall as she began to close her eyes and whispered. “I love you, son. Be strong… be the King. Avenge me.”

I opened my eyes, wiping the tears away. I raised my head and looked up to my mother’s portrait on the wall and whispered. “He’s going to pay for everything, Mama. For breaking your heart— killing you.”

The door opened, bringing me out of my thoughts. I smirked when I heard my father’s angry voice. “You ungrateful bastard! I’m going to kill you—all of you.”

I slowly turned around and grinned as Matteo shoved him to his knees. Matteo sneered. “Bow to the King, maggot.”

I crossed my arms over my chest and shook my head in disgust. “So disrespectful.”

“Y-you’ll pay for this. Every last one of you.” My father threatened.

“Thank you, Matteo. Take him down to the basement and prepare him for me. I’ll meet you down there in a few minutes.”

“You can’t kill me! It will cause a war if you kill the King.”

“No, I won’t be killing the King. I’ll be killing the man who killed my mother. I know it was you that cut the brake lines. I’ve always known.”

“N-no! It wasn’t me. She lied!”

“Take him away and wait for me,” I stated calmly to Matteo.

I watched him take him away, leaving me to my thoughts. My mother’s last words rang through my head as I headed down to the basement.

“I love you, son. Be strong… be the King. Avenge me.”

Walking down the stairs, I watched Matteo chain him to the wall. I smiled sickly to my father as I stepped towards him and shook my head. “You never deserved her. Hell, you didn’t even deserve to become King. All you did was married into royalty.”

“I-I did love her.” My father whispered.

“No. You. Didn’t. If you did, then you wouldn’t have cheated on her and got your assistant pregnant. Now, tell me, what’s their name?”

“I don’t know where—”

I didn’t let him finish, because I wanted answers. Sure, I wanted to avenge my mother, but I also was curious who my brother or sister was. Wrapping my hand around his throat, I tightened my hold on him. “Give me the fucking name!”

“Clarissa!” He croaked out, “Her name is Clarissa.”

“Good.” I said as I glanced at Matteo, “Matteo, go find her and bring her to me. I want her to know just how disgusting the man she looks up to as a father really is. I want her to see his true colors.”

“Please, don’t. I’m begging you—don’t bring her into this.”

“You did this to yourself when you killed my mother. Now I want to see you suffer like I did. Feel the pain I felt.” I said as I picked up the knife and plunged it into his stomach. I pulled it out and plunged it again and smiled.

“P-please, show mercy.”

“This is me showing mercy. I hope she hates you just as much as I loathe you.”

An hour later, Matteo returned with a brunette who looked to be about seventeen. She bowed her head and raised it, meeting my gaze. “Your Majesty.”

I snapped my head to face Matteo and raised a brow. “Majesty?”

“I mean—damn it, I never get this right. Those classes were a waste.”

“You don’t seem worried that you were taken and brought to me where I have your father chained up.”

“I’m not afraid of you.”

“Interesting.” I glanced at my father, “I like her. She’s got spunk.”

“Clarissa, I think you should keep your mouth shut.” My father hissed, pulling on the chains.

“And, I think you're not in control of the situation, Father. You can’t hurt anyone. Not anymore.” Clarissa hissed.

“You know, I was going to kill you, but I have a better idea. Sweetheart, I want you to choose his fate. What do you think his punishment should be?”

“I want to watch him die as I shoot him in the heart. Just the way he did to my mother.”

“Matteo, give her a gun.”

Matteo nodded and slipped a gun into her hand. She raised it and aimed for his heart. I cleared my throat and asked. “You know how the safety works.”

Clarissa smirked at me and took it off the safety, and shot her father point-blank in the heart. “I’m a fucking Valentino. Of course, I do.”

My father’s body went limp as blood stained his shirt. This was the best possible punishment I could ask for. An eye for an eye. Being killed by someone you think is on your side. Apparently, luck wasn’t on my father’s side this time around.

“Clarissa. I want you to stay for dinner. I would like to introduce you to my fiancée.”

She smiled as she handed Matteo back his gun. “I would like that, brother. It’s not like I have anywhere to go.”
