Chapter 380 - Rino's lack of control - mdfour
Roland
"Time to sleep," I said.
They got into Cuajao’s car and headed to the address they’d been given. Lobo had already passed the information to Onur, who was also on his way to the hotel. The guys took out the tranquilizer cartridges; these were specialized weapons, not the typical shotguns used to put animals to sleep.
These were easy-to-use pistols with minimal charges to instantly put the enemy to sleep for four hours and lock them up. Each one was equipped. They waited for Cuajao’s men.
"Rino and Zombi," I said. "People you put to sleep will replace Onur’s staff. They should put on their uniforms. They won’t be long with the merchandise; the tracker Zombi put on the employee is moving. They have a maximum of half an hour."
"Copy that." The people arrived, and Cuajao went to receive them.
"Boss, you wait locked in this room on the eighth floor," Alex told Onur. "I can’t protect you and be part of the operation."
"We’ll take all the girls to that room," Rino added.
"Take care, the pieces are starting to move."
Everything went as planned. The employee was put to sleep, and one of our people replaced him. We swept through the hallways. It was a nine-story building. Rasca culo got me the structure's blueprints. I checked possible exits and hiding places. We had to ensure everyone had a way to get out unharmed.
I notified them where they could place the hotel staff. The employees were put to sleep, but we didn’t know if they were involved. Most likely, the managers were the unscrupulous perverts. Five minutes before they finished replacing the staff, they locked the women in the kitchens and the sleeping employees in one of the halls.
For safety, the guys put everyone to sleep. Now it was a ghost hotel. The bastards started arriving. Onur’s people kindly attended them at the reception and accompanied them to the room. Once inside, either Zombi or Rino would enter and put them to sleep. They did this with each one, reloaded the cartridge, and now it was just a matter of waiting for the merchandise.
The bad guys arrived. They unloaded the shipment from a truck, and about fifty armed men arrived. Those were the bastards. But the hotel was ours. Rata had already cloned the cameras.
They acted as if nothing was wrong. They couldn’t confront them until the girls were secured. Once they were safe in the room with Onur, they would unleash hell if necessary. But as Aníbal says, we’ll give the new babies a little kick.
And the moment arrived. One hour left until Any arrived. "Lord God, I entrust the mission to your hands, protect my brothers." I grabbed my rosary and squeezed the cross. "I know you are close to the Father, also protect your children."
The girls seemed drugged, walking, handcuffed one next to the other.
"Seventh floor."
Said the employee with the tracker. "In a moment, I’ll go up to deliver them to each buyer. I’ll start from there and make sure the last three floors aren’t disturbed." My blood was boiling.
"Rata, Cuajao has the wireless hands-free, connect me with him," I ordered.
"Yes, sir." In less than a minute. "You can talk now."
"Alex!"
"Boss?" I smiled.
"I’m not your boss anymore."
"You’ll always be. Mr. Onur is my boss, but you’re my boss."
"Thanks. Please put the bastard who’s arriving at the reception to sleep in less than a minute, take the keys, and take them to Onur’s room. We need to free the girls."
"Yes, sir."
"Wait for Zombi to arrive."
The girls had been brought by four men. Rino was on the seventh floor.
"Rino, four men are heading to your area."
"Understood." He sounded like a different person.
"Zombi, four men are coming with all the women. Please secure the girls, Rino will take care of venting his frustration."
My friends looked at me. I disconnected the audio. Gustavo fixed his eyes on me. He stood up and went to the kitchen.
"Rata in command."
I followed him. What I’d talked about with my wife kept spinning in my head.
"What’s wrong?"
"I’m not sure what Patricia will do on Monday."
"It’s her decision."
"If Luisa is doing something wrong, and you know it’s a complete mistake, do you do nothing?"
"It’s her life. Don’t you think you should let her make her own mistakes?"
"I want to beat up Alfredo right now! For being an idiot, a jerk, and a cowardly bastard. Mom is acting weird and I have this damn feeling in my chest screaming 'help your sister!' but I can't tie her to the bedpost to stop her from getting married."
"Roland!"
Rata's shout alerted us, we ran out and saw on the screens Zombie and Cuajao freeing the girls who were unaware of their lives. In the room where Onur had secluded himself, they were seating the girls, but the heart-wrenching scene was made by Rino, who wasn't putting them to sleep.
He was facing four men alone, clearly wanting to beat them to death, his state was frantic. After hitting them, he would stab them. He had already killed two, another one ran away, and the biggest one became his punching bag.
"Disconnect Rino's audio."
Rata did it, the rest just watched our brother's behavior. He was pounding away, dominated by rage. I activated my audio.
"Zombie, urgent! Get Rino out of that hotel."
If there's one thing we do in operations, it's not asking questions, just acting. Freddy ran down the stairs.
"Rata, connect me with Cuajao."
"Done."
"Alex. You're in charge, wait for Any with your people." I looked at Cebolla.
"She's already landed and is on her way with Cooper."
"Only hand the girls over to her and report to her."
"Yes, sir."
Meanwhile, in hallway seven, Zombie tried to stop Rino, but in that fit of guilty rage, it was like trying to stop a runaway horse or an enraged bull. He took a direct hit, and the rest were dodged by Freddy, who needed to unbalance him.
"I'm sorry, brother, but it's for your own good!"
Zombie raised his palm and hit Alfredo's lower chin, achieving his goal—a few milliseconds of disorientation. With the other hand, he drew his weapon and shot him. In just a fraction of a second, Rino fell to the floor, dazed. For a moment, he would be conscious, but his limbs would go numb, and then he would fall unconscious.
Freddy carried him, with him over his shoulder, he entered the elevator, heading to the car. With each step, we saw that everyone was gagged. The sirens were heard, the queen was arriving.
Things won't be easy from now on with Rino. I looked at Rasca Culo, who held my gaze. Now I understood, it's a great feeling of helplessness to see a brother suffering and not know what to do.
"Queen, the mission is in your hands. My brothers must leave. Cuajao, Onur's head of security, will give you the report," I told her. "Two casualties, one we don't know if he's still alive, and one injured. The rest are asleep."
"Thank you, King."
"Rino..." I looked at Cereza. "Our brother needs us."
"It's clear that from now on, we can't leave him alone."
"When he returns, my sister will already be married," I affirmed to that truth.
......
Diana
Patricia asked us to be her witnesses for the civil wedding. I couldn't refuse, I feel sorry for both of them. Alfredo wasn't a bad man, he just neglected her, and she didn't stand up to him and demand like I did with my Beast.
He forgot who he was dealing with. These hard-headed guys are like that, stubborn, and you have to teach them. Believe me, I have the beastliest of them all. But we're already engaged, which is why we're here at the notary in Blanco, where the civil union will take place. Mrs. Josefina remained serious. She discreetly held her rosary, and I didn't want to interrupt her until she finished.
Gustavo was talking to Miguel at the notary's entrance. The couple arrived together, and the notary let them in. She looked calm, not overflowing with happiness, but calm. Máximo looked at her with loving eyes. I just hope this works out for them. Twenty minutes later, they were signing the certificate, and Miguel and I also signed alongside them.
They kissed... there was nothing more to do. We congratulated them, and it was Mrs. Josefina who stayed apart, wiping her tears. Mother and daughter looked at each other, and from afar, she gave her blessing. A mother is always a mother. While the men talked, I took Patricia's hand. It was cold.
"Are you happy?"
"I feel calm."
"From the bottom of my heart, I wish you the best. I hope this rushed situation turns out to be the right one in the future. Alfredo..."
"Don't mention him," she said through gritted teeth. "I don't want to know anything about him. Every day that passes, I realize more that I was just a toy."
"Patricia..."
